ROSA LENA ARMSTRONG, 100, of Santa Fe died Monday.
She worked at The Canton Café on San Francisco Street as a waitress, Sears as a saleslady and The Desert Inn as a cashier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Armstrong; brothers Robert, Charlie and George Lentz; and sisters, Carrie and Jenny.
She is survived by her twin children, James Armstrong and wife Elizabeth, and Helen McCleeary and husband Bob; granddaughter, Terrie Harbison and husband Bill; and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation will take place Friday.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. McGee Memorial Chapel, 983-9151.

MYRTLE MAE BREUNING, 90, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Friday. She was raised in Bellview and graduated from high school there, then attended Highlands Normal (later Highlands University) with intentions to major in music. She was a stay-at-home wife and mother until 1957 and then was employed as a clerk for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway System for 23 years. She loved to garden and travel after retirement. She loved to collect coins and watch baseball and football. She was an avid Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys fan. She enjoyed keeping up with current events. She was of the Episcopal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl G. Breuning; parents, Alphus Monroe Mitchell and Mattie Ann Stafford Mitchell; and siblings, Albert, Leonard, Virginia and Bill. She is survived by her son, Carl Breuning Jr. and wife Phyllis of Calhan, Colo.; sisters-in-law, Maurine Mitchell of Portales and Bobbie Mitchell of Riverside, Calif.; brother-in-law, Ralph Burnett of Grady, N.M., and Phoenix; and many other relatives. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Rogers Chapel and at 2 p.m. Monday at the Steed-Todd Chapel, 800 East Manana Blvd. in Clovis. Burial of cremains will follow at the Mission Garden of Memories Cemetery in Clovis. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to charities of your choice. GUSTAVO H. COBLENTZ, 71, of Santa Fe died Wednesday.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. today with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at McGee Memorial Chapel.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at San Isidro Catholic Church on Agua Fria.

ANTONIA A. MADRID, 87, of Medanales died Tuesday after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emilio Antonio Gonzales; second husband, Ben Madrid; parents, Severo and Francisquita Archuleta; brothers, Ramon, Tobias, Jose I, Severito, Frank and Pedro Archuleta; and sisters, Elisa Garcia and Cleo Wueschinski. She is survived by her children, Jose Toby Gonzales and wife Lizzie of Albuquerque, Emilio Gonzales of Española, Donald Archuleta and wife Helen of Rio Chama, Lee Madrid of Española and Bengie Madrid of Medanales; 14 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. BENJAMIN O. MARTINEZ, 83, of Chimayó died Tuesday. He was raised in Chimayó, where his parents were a pioneer family. His grandfather was the first postmaster in Chimayó. Members of his family were benefactors of the Holy Family Church. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was stationed in North Africa and Italy. He worked as a machinist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. During retirement, he enjoyed traveling in the area. He was preceded in death by his son, Isaac Martinez; parents, Bonifacio and Epifania Martinez; and parents-in-law, Isaac and Ramona Romero. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Martinez; children, Robert Martinez and wife Judy of Salinas, Calif., Ron Martinez of Santa Fe, and Vivian Frietze and husband Jose of Las Cruces; six grandchildren; sisters, Adeline Sandoval and husband Ruben of Ruidoso, Rose Fontenont and husband Ray of Jacksonville, Fla., and Susan Dennison and husband Glen of Reno, Nev.; brother, Cass Martinez and wife Petra of Las Vegas, Nev.; and many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m. today at the Holy Family Church in Chimayó. ELOISA SALAZAR, a.k.a. Eloisa Carrillo and Eloisa Gonzales, 103, of Santa Fe died Monday. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed playing the harmonica, dancing and singing for the Fiestas de Santa Fe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Salazar; daughter, Tomasita Rivera and husband Lino; son, Elizardo Lovato; sisters, Filia Maestas and Kate Serna; and several grandsons, great-grandsons and nephews. She is survived by her daughters, Evangeline Turrietta, Gloria Lopez and husband Larry; son, Ernie Rivera; 16 grandchildren; and many other relatives. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. ELIZABETH R. VINES, 87, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Sunday at the Las Vegas Medical Center after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Vines and Mattie Phillips Vines. She is survived by a cousin, Clayton Vines of Santa Maria, Calif.; guardian, Susan Strebe of Guadalupita; and many other friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Las Vegas Medical Chapel, 3695 Hot Springs Blvd. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the South Park Cemetery in Roswell. ROSIE MARES, 78, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Thursday at St. Vincent Hospital.
She was a lifelong Catholic and member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Eduardo and Margarita Varela; son, Lorenzo Mares; and sister-in-law, Gabrielita Pino.
She is survived by her husband, Eloy Mares Sr.; daughters and sons, Martha Vigil and husband Sam, Joe Mares and wife Martha, Frances Mares, Augustin Mares and wife Sally, Eloy Mares Jr. and wife Susan, Gloria Sandoval and special friend Gilbert, Veronica "Betty" Mares and Juan Mares, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; daughter-in-law, Doris Maris, of Las Vegas, N.M.; 33 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Rogers Chapel and at 7 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Rogers Mortuary, Las Vegas, N.M., (800) 479-3511.

ANGELO J. PAIS, 92, of Raton died Thursday.
He worked in the mining industry as a deputy state mining inspector.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, Giacomo Pais and Lucia Zandegiacomo; brother, Joe Pais; and sisters, Minnie Pais, Rose Hunt and Louise Telck.
He is survived by his sons, Angelo F. Pais and his wife Alice, and Joseph E. Pais and his wife Geralyn, both of Raton; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel. A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Albuquerque.
