MARK MARTIN MAESTAS, 32, of Las Vegas, N.M. died Wednesday.
He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., on March 31, 1971, to Jose F. Maestas and Bertha DeHerrera Maestas.
He loved to help his neighbors with household chores and call KFUN and KNMX to dedicate songs for friends' birthdays.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha DeHerrera Maestas and sister, Eileen Maestas.
He is survived by his father, Jose F. Maestas of the family home in Las Vegas, N.M.; brothers, Kenny Maestas and fianceé Jackie Salas, Arnold Maestas and wife Hortencia, Patrick D. Maestas and wife Benita, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; and sister, Maybel Maestas and Lawrence Trujillo Jr. of Las Animas, Colo.; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the same church with burial to follow at Santo Nino Cemetery in Buena Vista.

ARCHIE J. MARTINEZ, 38, of Espaņola died Wednesday.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Espaņola.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; daughters, Anadyne Amanda and Angel; sons, Rudy and Jeremy, all of the family home; parents, Jose and Anita Martinez of Espaņola; brothers, Orlando Martinez and wife Grace of La Puebla, Lorenzo Martinez and wife Sandra of Espaņola, Juan Martinez and wife Marcella of Medanales; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Block-Salazar Mortuary. A second rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the same location. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Espaņola.

ROBERT "PRESLEY" MARTINEZ, 59, of El Guache died unexpectedly Wednesday.
He enjoyed working on and owning old cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Lina Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Orlinda Martinez; son, Eric Martinez; daughter, Judy Martinez, all of El Guache; three grandchildren; brother, Leroy Martinez of Chili; very close cousin Maria S. Trujillo of Espaņola; and many other relatives and friends.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez with burial to follow at the San Jose Cemetery.

WILLIAM "TOM" MILLER, 48, of Taos died Thursday at St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born in Embudo. He graduated from Taos High School and the University of New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lola Miller.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah of Taos; and sisters, Carolyn McAddo and Margaret Gibson, both of Albuquerque.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.

CASIMIRA RODRIGUEZ, 97, died Thursday.
She was employed at La Posada for many years. She also worked for the Cinco Pintores. She had a sense of humor and loved all her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Maes; parents, Felix and Eduvigen Rodriguez; brothers, Benedicto Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez; and sisters, Donaciana Martinez, Rafaelita Rodriguez, Lucia Maes and Juanita Anaya.
She is survived by her two nieces that were her constant companions, Leonor A. Mead and Helen Anaya; and many other relatives and friends.
Donations may be made in her memory to Cristo Rey Church. A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated (time pending, call for details) Monday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery.

ROSALIA T. RODRIGUEZ, 56, of Lower Colonias died Wednesday.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Santo Nino in Lower Colonias with burial to follow in Lower Colonias.

DELORES S. THOMAS of Santa Fe died Friday.
She was born in Georgiana, Ala., and raised in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She was a special events coordinator for El Paso Energy Corporation for 18 years, as well as a lobbyist for the oil and gas industry. She was active in many civic and cultural organizations. She was a director and assistant secretary of the Santa Fe Opera Board of Directors, Opera Inc., and a member of the N.M. Governor's Mansion Foundation, the New Mexico Children's Foundation, the Cancer Society, the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation Board and the First Presbyterian Church in Santa Fe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Thomas.
She is survived by her children, Jody Thomas Lee and husband Michael Lee of Santa Fe, James Robert Thomas and wife Lisa of Jacksonville, Fla., John David Thomas and wife Lisa of St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren; longtime friend, Lynn Miller; and many other relatives and friends.
Donations can be made to the Delores S. Thomas Memorial Santa Fe Opera Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 2408, Santa Fe, N.M., 87504-2408.
A private family memorial service will take place this summer in Gulf Shores, Ala.
