JOSE ELISEO MARTINEZ, 66, of Santa Cruz died Monday. He was born in Santa Cruz to Patricio Sr. and Manuelita S. Martinez. He is survived by his children, Clarence Martinez of Santa Cruz, Sharon Urieta of Las Cruces, Carmela Willingham of Albuquerque and Eric Martinez and companion Rose Padilla of Santa Fe. Services are pending and will be announced at a later date. Block-Salazar Mortuary, (505) 753-2288.

MARGARET M. MILLER, 94, of Santa Fe died Wednesday. She was born in Evansville, Ind. She was a graduate of Evansville College and former elementary school teacher. She married in 1931 and lived in Ft. Thomas, Ky., for 61 years. She was a Pink Lady at St. Luke Hospital, a member of the Lucy Abert Literary Guild and an active member of Christ Church in Ft. Thomas, Ky. She moved to New Mexico in 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin P. Miller. She is survived by her sons, A. Jerry Miller and wife Ann of Los Alamos and James A. Miller and wife Judy of Temecula, Calif.; daughter, Martha J. Addams of Dallas; six grandchildren; and many other relatives. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Christ Church Chapel, United Church of Christ, 15 South Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas, Ky., with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery , Southgate, Ky. The family has requested any memorial donations be made to Christ Church for its van fund. MAXINE MARGERETE PALMER, 38, of Chama died Saturday after a long illness. She was a member of the 1984 graduating class of Escalante High School. She was a devoted Christian. She is survived by her mother, Isabell M. Martinez; brothers, Larry B. Jones of Dallas, Jardy S. Martinez-Jones and wife Lolly, and Jesse T. LeFevre and wife Andrea of Chama; and many other relatives and friends in and around northern New Mexico. LINDA L. CRAIG, 48, of Santa Fe died Thursday after a long battle with cancer.
She was a college graduate in special education, a receptionist at Sommer Law Firm and a Cub Scout leader in Nambé and Pojoaque Valley for many years. She is survived by her husband, John C. Craig; sons, Samuel Craig of Washington, D.C., and Miles Craig of Portland, Ore.
The family requests that no flowers be sent, but memorial contributions may be donated to the Cancer Institute of New Mexico, 490-A West Zia Road, Santa Fe, N.M., 87505. Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 983-4331.

ARTHUR J. LUJAN, 73, of Santa Fe died Tuesday. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean conflict. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 18 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Arturo Lujan; mother, Cesaria G. Lujan and sister, Maria Rivera. He is survived by three sisters, two brothers and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11 a.m.

VICTORIANO MARTINEZ, 93, of Fairview died Thursday.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Martinez; children, Victor Martinez Jr. and wife Ernestine of Alcalde, Mary Ann Salazar and husband Johnny of Hernandez; siblings, Juan Martinez and wife Diane of Safford, Ariz., Phil Fernandez and wife Celine of Santa Fe, Priscilla Torres of Fairview, Frances Brooks of Texas, Kate Abeyta of Peñasco, Lillian Lopez and family of Chamisal; 12 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Valley Bible Baptist Church in Arroyo Seco with burial at El Guique.

JAMES HALL SANDIN, 56, of Sheridan died Thursday after a long illness.
He was born in Chicago. He was raised in Bogota, Colombia, and moved to New Mexico in 1966. He was married in Hobbs in 1969. He received his bachelor of arts degree at New Mexico Highlands University in 1971. He was retired, having worked as a building contractor for 30 years. He was past chief of the Sheridan Fire Department and a member of the Water Rights Association in Sheridan. He was a fan of soccer and a craftsman in woodworking and metal working.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Hall Sandin.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta A. "Bert" Sandin of the family home in Sheridan; sons, Jesse P. Sandin and girlfriend, Marisa Bowen of Las Vegas, N.M., and Seth D. Sandin of the family home in Sheridan; father, E.C. Pat Sandin of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Linda of Chicago, Jennifer Olsen of San Francisco and Robin Sandin of San Antonio, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Rogers Chapel with burial of the cremains to follow at the family cemetery in Sheridan.

MILDRED MARY CHUEY VISEL, 77, of Los Alamos died Tuesday after a long illness.
She preferred to be called Millie and was born and spent her childhood in East Palestine, Ohio. Her family moved to New York, where she attended high school. She got her first job in New York as a secretary working for an insurance company on Wall Street. She loved traveling to the Southwest and hoped to live in the area some day. Her wish came true in 1955 when she was offered a job at the then-Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory as a secretary for Jim Taub, the group leader at CMB-6. She enjoyed singing and performed frequently in Los Alamos productions. She was a member of the ballroom dance group in Los Alamos and enjoyed collecting dolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George James and Anna May Chuey; and older brother, Jim Chuey.
She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Visel; son, Robert A. Visel; two grandchildren; and many other friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17 at the First United Methodist Church in Los Alamos. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Los Alamos Visiting Nurses or the Los Alamos Hospice.

ANDREA MARGARITA ARCHULETA, 20, of Ojo Feliz Ranch in Ocate died Friday.
She was born in Albuquerque. She was attending New Mexico Highlands University majoring in business. She loved the outdoors, animals, and raising baby calves. She loved her family and friends, especially her son.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andres M. Archuleta. She is survived by her son, Allen Andrew Coca-Archuleta; parents, Albert and Deborah Archuleta, all of the Ojo Feliz Ranch; father of her son, Brian Coca; special friend whom she loved as a sister, Claudia Montoya; the Wagon Mound Senior Class of 2001; and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held yesterday at the Old Wagon Mound High School Gym by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Andrea's memory to her son, Allen Andrew Coca, c/o the Archuleta Family, P.O. Box 262, Ocate, N.M. 87734. Rogers Mortuary, Las Vegas, N.M., (505) 425-3511.
