She worked as a cashier and was a Christian.
Her daughter Cris (Cliff) Gregory of California, son Kirk Lee of Pahrump, two grandchildren and one great grandchild survive her.
Her husband preceded her in death.

Luther Stark
Private family services will be held for Luther (Bill) Stark, 72, who died June 26 in Las Vegas.
He was born Aug. 4, 1932 in Belle Fourche, S.D., and was a 20-year resident of Pahrump. He worked in drywall construction before retiring.

Mary Jane Klohr
Mary Jane Klohr, 77, passed away June 22 in Las Vegas.
She was born May 25, 1927 in Indianapolis, Ind., and was a 16-year resident of Pahrump. She loved to bowl and play bingo.
Her son Kevin of Pahrump and several grandchildren and great grandchildren survive her.
Her husband, a son and a daughter preceded her in death.

Peter Hlodan
Private family services will be held for Peter Hlodan, 76, who died June 29 in Las Vegas.
He was born Feb. 5, 1928 in Muskegon, Mich., and moved to Pahrump in 1998 coming from California.
He worked as a self-employed carpenter and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
His wife Frances of Pahrump; daughter Janice Falk of Pahrump; son John (Myrna) Falk of Pahrump; and 15 grandchildren survive him.
His Charlene Falk and son Patrick Hlodan preceded him in death.

Angeline Barlow
Services for Angeline Ortale Barlow, 82, who died July 3 in Las Vegas, will be held in Des Moines, Iowa.
She was born April 30, 1922 in Iowa and moved from there to Pahrump 11 years ago.
She worked as a cook and was of the Catholic faith.
Her sons Joseph Barlow, Bob (Cecelia) Barlow and Jim Barlow, all of Pahrump; daughter Jackline Taylor of Iowa; four grandchildren and one great grandchild survive her.

Kenneth Brown
Private family services will be held for Kenneth Brown, 66, who died June 30 in Pahrump.
He was born Aug. 11, 1937 in Arkansas. He was a resident of Pahrump for four years coming from Houston, Texas, and worked as a supervisor in the construction industry.
His wife Lynn of Pahrump; daughter Kenna-Beth of Texas; sons Brice, Curtis and Terry, all of Texas; and five grandchildren survive him.

Arthur Deaver
Private family services will be held for Arthur E. Deaver, 65, who died June 29 in Pahrump.
He was born Jan. 1, 1929 in Glendale, Calif., and moved to Pahrump from Las Vegas five years ago.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving two tours in Vietnam, and worked as an aircraft mechanic in commercial aviation.
His wife Janet Deaver of Pahrump; mother M. Louise Deaver of Skiatook, Okla.; sons David Deaver of Maryland and Christopher Deaver of North Carolina; daughters Brenda Allen of Euless, Texas and Christina Flink of Las Vegas; brothers Curtis (Bud) Deaver of Tulsa, Okla., and Donald Deaver of Stillwater, Okla.; nephews Todd, Dwayne and Steve Deaver; mother-in-law Esther DeGraff; brother-in-law John (Nellana) DeGraff; and five grandchildren survive him.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice of Pahrump.

Gayle Echave-Hartsel
A memorial service for Gayle Suzanne Echave-Hartsel, 53, who died June 30 in Pahrump, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army, 721 Buol Lane. Anthony Falcone will preside over the service.
She was born Oct. 17, 1950 in Los Angeles, Calif., and moved to Pahrump in 1974 coming from Tustin, Calif. She loved all of her children, family and friends and was an avid animal lover. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Her husband Robert Hartsel; daughters Brandi Echave, Tracy Vega and Heavenly Morse; sons John Echave and Private 1st Class Joseph Echave; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren survive her.

Julia Stairs died June 22 in Billings, Mont.
Julia and her husband, Norman, spent winters in Pahrump and summers in Casper, Wyo.
Services were held June 30 in Casper.

A memorial service for Daniel Roland Walls, Jr., 45, who died July 3 in Pahrump, will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at Pahrump Family Mortuary.
He was born July 10 in Maryland and moved from there to Pahrump two years ago.
He worked as a gas station attendant for Smith's Food and Drug, and was a member of Arnie's pool league.
His mom Dixie (Edward) Compasino of Pahrump; sister Donna Lane of Maryland; soul mate Ruth Clark of Pahrump; and niece Lorin Lane of Maryland survive him.
His grandfather preceded him in death.

Private family services will be held for Phyllis Ruth Erwin, 61, who died July 5 in Las Vegas.
She was born Aug. 13, 1942 in Illinois, and was a 10-year resident of Pahrump coming from San Diego.
She worked as a key cutter for a locksmith and was of the Protestant faith.
Her husband Glenn R. Erwin of Pahrump; mother Hellen Aguillo of Pahrump; daughters Yolanda J. Cowan of Durango, Colo., and Sandra L. Matthias of Indianapolis, Ind.; son Robin E. Powell of Pahrump, six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren survive her.
