Edward Kelly
Funeral services for Edward S. Kelly, 61, who died July 18 in Las Vegas, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Pahrump Family Mortuary.
He was born Oct. 16, 1942 in Buffalo, N.Y. and was a 12-year resident of Pahrump coming from Las Vegas.
He served four years in the U.S. Marines and then worked as a truck driver. He was of the Catholic faith.
His wife Winifred Kelly of Pahrump; sons Edward (Terri) Kelly and Patrick Kelly, both of Pahrump; brothers Jim (Meg) Kelly of Georgia and Tom (Lynn) Kelly of New York; sister Colleen (Joe) D'Ingillo of Buffalo; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive him.
His son Daniel, parents and one brother preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society.

William Cooper
Services will be held in Colorado for William L. Cooper, 74, who died July 25 in Beatty.
He was born March 13, 1930 and was a resident of Beatty and former resident of Reno.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and then worked as an engineer. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge and was of the Catholic faith.
His son Gordon Cooper of Arvada, Colo.; daughter Myra Clapham of Centennial, Colo.; brothers Charles Cooper of Lewisburg, W.V. and J.D. Cooper of Georgia; grandchildren Heather Clapham of Centennial, Justin and Cody Cooper, both of Arvada, survive him.
His brother, Ned Cooper, preceded him in death.

George Dragisic
Private family services will be held for George Dragisic, 87, who died July 23 in Pahrump.
He was born May 21, 1917 in Chicago and moved from there to Pahrump in 1998.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and married
his wife Bernice in 1942.
He always put his family first and taught them to love and appreciate life. He loved telling a good story and getting a laugh and he never let anyone else "pick up the check." His favorite quote was, "What you possess in the world will be found at the day of your death to belong to someone else. What you are will be yours forever." - Henry Van Dyke
His wife Bernice of Pahrump; sons Frank (Kay) Dragisic of Pahrump and Michael (Kathy) Dragisic of Henderson; grandchildren Julie Alksnis, Frank Dragisic and Michael Dragisic; and great grandchildren Ryan and Amanda Dragisic survive him.

Horace Edwards
Services have been held for Horace Edwards, 85, who died July 21 in Pahrump.
He was born May 27, 1919 in Virginia and moved to Pahrump four years ago coming from Las Vegas.
He worked as an inspector for Pan Am, retiring in 1982. He belonged to the Pan America Airways Club and was of the Methodist faith.
His wife Louise Edwards of Pahrump; sons Gerald (Reba) Edwards of Pennsylvania, Doug (Paulette) Edwards of Florida, Kenneth (Betty) Ryans and Stanley (Cheryl) Ryans, both of New Jersey; daughter Dorothy Ryans of Pahrump; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren survive him.
His parents and a stepson preceded him in death.

Shirley Fisher
Services have been held for Shirley A. Fisher, 61, who died July 21 in Las Vegas.
She was born April 10, 1943 in New York and moved to Pahrump in 1980 coming from Chicago.
She worked in convention setup and belonged to Teamsters Local 631. She was of the Catholic faith.
Her daughters Sondra Turpin, Tabathea Caron and Nadine Buckenburger, all of Pahrump, and Kimberly Ann Deeson of Florida; sister Joan (Bob) Keating of Pahrump; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, survive her.
Her parents preceded her in death.

Darrel McLeod
Private family services will be held for Darrel McLeod, 71, who died July 26 in Pahrump.
He was born May 2, 1933 in Colorado and moved from there to Pahrump 15 years ago.
He served in the U.S. Navy and then worked as a carpenter in the construction industry.
His wife Marylan McLeod of Pahrump; son Bruce McLeod of Colorado; daughters Linda Garlitz and Jackie McLeod, both of Oregon; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren survive him.

Helen Anderson
Services for Helen Kennel Anderson, 78, who died July 28 in Las Vegas, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Pahrump Family Mortuary. Interment will be at 12:30 p.m. at Palm Valley View in Las Vegas.
She was Jan. 8, 1926 in Ohio and was a resident of Pahrump since 1983 coming from Las Vegas, where she resided for 21 years.
She worked as a secretary for the Clark County Sheriff's Office, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Moose Lodge 808 and VFW Post 10054.
Her husband Everett Anderson of Pahrump; daughters Sue (Jeffery) Haub of Sun City, Ariz., and Marcia (Mike) Thomas of Las Vegas; sister Eileen Wagner of Texas; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild survive her.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Nathan Adelson Hospice.

Joshua Murillo
A memorial service for Joshua Murillo, 27, who died July 27 in Las Vegas, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Pahrump Family Mortuary.
He was born Aug. 23, 1976 in California and was an 18-year resident of Pahrump.
He worked as a brick layer in the construction industry and was a Christian.
His father Joseph Murillo of Pahrump; mother Melinda Murillo of Pahrump; fiancée Jennifer Wheetley of Pahrump; son Colby Murillo of Pahrump; daughter Mickayla Murillo of Pahrump; brother Joseph (Tammy) Murillo of Las Vegas; grandmothers Dolly Todd of California and Helen Murillo of Pahrump, survive him.
His grandfather preceded him in death.

No services will be held for Lucille Loretta Withers, 75, who died July 25 in Pahrump.
She was born Sept. 2, 1928 in Two Rivers, Wisc., and was a 27-year resident of Pahrump coming from Las Vegas.
She was self-employed as an artist, retiring in 1991. She belonged to the Nevada Water Color Society and was of the Catholic faith.
Her husband William Withers of Pahrump; daughters Katherine A. Withers of Grand Canyon, Ariz., Penny A. Lehmoth of Orlando, Fla., and Marion M. Withers of Oakridge, Tenn.; sons Michael P. Withers and William J. Withers, both of Pahrump; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive him.
