Robert Lane Jr.
Viewing for Robert Joseph Lane, Jr., 50, who died Nov. 10 in Las Vegas, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Neptune Society of Nye County chapel.
He was born March 2, 1954 in Pittsburgh, Pa. He moved to Pahrump in 1990 coming from Henderson, where he worked as a park coordinator for the City of Henderson. He loved working with computers and he loved his family.
His wife Barbara of Pahrump; daughters Trina (Rickey) Rivlin and Christy (Christopher) Terrell; brother Daniel Raymond Lane; sister Robin Souto; and three grandchildren, survive him.

Brenda Bullock
Services for Brenda L. Bullock, 44, who passed away Nov. 12, will be held Thursday at Palm Mortuary-Henderson.
She was born Aug. 24, 1960 in Mankato, Minn., and was a resident of Pahrump for one year. She worked as a manager for Supercuts
Her husband Coldon Bullock of Pahrump; daughter Miranda; sons James Lyons and Michael Stanley; father William Boyer; mother Karen Sullivan, brother John Sullivan; sister Maria Sullivan; and grandson Mikee Jr., survive her. (11/12/04)
Dorothy Creek
Visitation for Dorothy Mae Creek, 80, who passed away Nov. 16 in Las Vegas, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Palm Mortuary - Downtown. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial cemetery.
She was born May 16, 1924 in Milboro, S.D., and was a 40-year resident of Indian Springs. She worked as a beautician for a hair salon before retiring and was a member of VFW Women's Auxiliary No. 10047.
Her husband James Creek of Indian Springs; sons Ron Johnson of Indian Springs and Dee Johnson of San Diego; sisters Barbara, Marvel, Hazel, Joyce, and Edna; brother Casey; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild, survive her.

Jean Glover
Jean M. Glover, 82, passed away Nov. 7 in Las Vegas. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Longmont, Colo.
She was born Sept. 27, 1922 to Frank and Bessie Morgan in Longmont, Colo., where she graduated from Longmont High School. She attended the University of Colorado and then served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
She worked as a radiological technologist and medical transcriptionist until her retirement, when she moved to Pahrump. Jean was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed doing stained glass, needle crafts, bowling and golf.
Her daughter Jackie (Bruce) Bjork of Pahrump; son Bob (Connie) Glover of Midland, Texas; grandchildren Samantha Bjork and Patrick Orem; and many friends survive her.
Her husband Robert Glover and daughter Kathy preceded her in death.

Julie Noel
A memorial service was held at Preferred RV Resort Nov. 4 for Julie Noel, 82, who passed away Oct. 27.
She was born Feb. 14, 1922 in Chicago.
Her brothers, (twin) Michael of California; Bob (Ruth) of Alabama, and John of Chicago; and numerous nieces and nephews, Duke (Kathy) Fennell of Dayton, Nev., Kenny Fennell, Linda Fennell, Jan Cohen of Las Vegas, Lee Fennell of Pennsylvania, Judy of Indiana, Laura of Alabama, John Jr. (Barbara) of Illinois, Connie of Michigan, Cindy of Georgia, and Susan of New Mexico, survive her.
Her husband Warren Noel, sister Katherine and brother Leonard preceded her in death. (10/27/04)
Joe Sherrell
Private family services have been held for Joe Bill Sherrell, 74, who passed away Nov. 9 in Pahrump.
He was born Nov. 19, 1929 in Viola, Ark., and was a resident of Pahrump for three years. He worked as a manufacturing operator.
His wife Margie Sherrell of Pahrump; sons Ronny, Jerald and Darrell Sherrell, all of California; 15 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren, survive him.

Dorris Washington
Visitation for Dorris Washington, 76, who passed away Nov. 13 in Pahrump, will be held from 2-3 p.m. Thursday at Davis Funeral Home - Eastern in Las Vegas. Services will follow at 3 p.m.
She was born July 30, 1928 in Pennsylvania and moved to Pahrump in 1980. She worked as a certified nursing assistant before retiring.
Her husband Walter of Franklinville, N.J.; daughters Debbie (Rick) Weigand of Sebring, Fla., and Kim Washington (David Chapman) of Pahrump; son Todd (Jill) Washington of Franklinville; brothers Earl, Charles, and Robert Peters; and grandchildren Walt Turner, Sidney Johnson, Lee Washington, Austin Washington and Jacklyn Washington, survive her.
Her parents, Costa and Lillian Peters, and brothers, Steven and Pete, preceded her in death.

Jose Abarabar
Viewing for Jose G. Abarabar, 57, who passed away Nov. 15, will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Pahrump Family Mortuary. Services will follow at 3 p.m.
He was born April 26, 1948 in the Philippines and was a two-year resident of Pahrump. He worked as a CPA and was of Catholic faith.
His father, Guillermo R. Abarabar, of California; daughters Brenda Abarabar of Manila and Eunice Abarabar of Pahrump; son Nico Abarabar of Manila; two sisters and two brothers survive him.
Severina G. Abarabar preceded him in death.

Guenter Theilkuhl
Graveside services for Guenter Theilkuhl, 73, who passed away Nov. 14, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary - Eastern in Las Vegas.
He was born July 1, 1931 in Bramstedt, Germany and was a 35-year resident of the Las Vegas and Pahrump areas.
He worked as a service manager in the automotive industry until his retirement.
His daughter Dagmar Theilkuhl of Bremen, Germany; ex-wife Carolynn Theilkuhl-Ley of Pahrump; and one grandchild survive him.
His daughter Carolynn Whiting preceded him in death.

Phillip Gobin
Private family services will be held for Phillip Kenneth Gobin, 79, who passed away Nov. 17 in Pahrump.
He was born Nov. 4, 1925 in Chico, Calif. He was a 20-year resident of Pahrump and a former resident of Amargosa.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and then worked as an engineer. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
His daughter Claudia (Ken) Pitarre of Pahrump, two brothers, one sister and five grandchildren survive him.
Three wives preceded him in death.

Joseph Gorman
Private family services will be held for Joseph Gorman, 68, who passed away Nov. 21 in Pahrump.
He was born April 20, 1936 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and was a 13-year resident of Pahrump.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a heating technician. He was a member of the VFW.
Three sisters, Mary (Chuck) Caha and Patricia Cameron, both of Pahrump, and Isabelle (Tom) Aley of Michigan; and brother James Gorman of Michigan, survive him.

Private family services will be held for Edgar Stephen Sparks, 62, who passed away Nov. 19 in Las Vegas.
He was born Nov. 18, 1942 in Bagley, Minn., and was a resident of Pahrump.
His wife Terry Ann Sparks of Pahrump; two sons, Steven Sparks and Monty Sparks, both of North Dakota; two daughters, Dutchess Marie Sparks and Stephanie Sparks, both of North Dakota; sister Rosemarie Dahl of Minnesota; brother Paul Sparks of Minnesota; and many grandchildren, survive him.

Eleanor Waite
Private family services will be held for Eleanor B. Waite, 80, who passed away Nov. 17 in Las Vegas.
She was born Dec. 22, 1923 in Southport, Conn., and was a resident of Pahrump for three years, coming from Oxnard, Calif.
A homemaker, she enjoyed meeting friends for lunch, craftwork and gambling. She made several donations to the Methodist Church's thrift sale.
Her son Joseph Sorrani of Pahrump and brother Stephen Ballog of Clearwater, Fla., survive her.
Her brother Ronald Ballog and sister Gladys Saja preceded her in death.
