Edward Kehoe
Services for Edward Charles Kehoe, 76, who died Jan. 18, 2000 in Las Vegas, will be held at noon today in the Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern, Las Vegas.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon.
Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
He was born Sept. 3, 1923 in Piola, Colo.
He served in the Army during World War II, then worked as a heavy equipment operator before he retired.
He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 12 and the DAV.
Kehoe came to Nevada in 1952 and lived in Henderson until coming to Pahrump in 1994.
He was a founding member of the First United Methodist Church of Henderson and belonged to the United Methodist Church of Pahrump.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn of Pahrump; two sons, Dennis (Cindy) and Buddy (Cheri), both of Henderson; a daughter, Frances of Pahrump; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Kay, and a son, Charles, preceded him in death.
Roscoe Bahret
A memorial service for Roscoe E. Bahret, 43, who died Jan. 18, 2000 in a Las Vegas hospice, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Pahrump LDS chapel.
Later services are planned in Onaga, Kan.
He was born June 22, 1956 in Onaga.
He was a career military man, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1974 to 1994, retiring as a gunnery sergeant.
He belonged to the LDS Church and was a resident of Pahrump.
He is survived by a son, Joshua of Pahrump; two daughters, Sarah and Stacy, both of Pahrump; and five brothers, Bert of Topeka, Ernie of Lecompton, Kan., Earl of Kansas, Vernon of Silver Lake, Kan., and Bart of Belvue, Kan.
Brent Campbell
A mass for Brent Anthony Campbell, 55, who died Jan. 18, 2000 in Las Vegas, will be held at 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
Refreshments will be served at the church following mass.
He was born April 19, 1944 in Michigan and was a 10-month resident of Pahrump, coming to the valley from Las Vegas. He was a Roman Catholic.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Pahrump; a daughter, Janine Lane of Florida; a brother, Patrick of Michigan; two sisters, Joan Decker and Jane Campbell, both of Michigan; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of the Valley for the construction of a new church.
Paul Greiner
Services for Paul Eugene Greiner, 66, who died Jan. 19, 2000 in Pahrump, were held Jan. 22 at Pahrump Community Church with Pastor Robert Rush officiating.
He was born July 25, 1933 in Washington, D.C.
He was a career man in the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed gardening, landscaping and oil painting.
He belonged to Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and was a 32nd Degree Blue Lodge Mason.
He moved to Pahrump from Bloomfield, Colo., in 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa of Pahrump; three sons, John Englert of Westminster, Colo., and Edward and Anthony Englert, both of Ft. Collins, Colo.; three daughters, Marie Mahrick of Umatilla, Ore., Katherine Hillman of Miami, N.M., and Sherry Zimmerman of Westminster; a brother, Eugene of Denver; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Joel Raymer
A memorial service for Joel Brent Raymer, 39, who died Jan. 8, 2000 at Dumont Dunes, Calif., will be held at 6:30 p.m. today in the Pahrump Family Mortuary chapel.
A funeral mass was held Thursday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
He was born June 29, 1960 in Illinois.
He was a six-year resident of Pahrump, coming to Nevada from California, and worked in construction.
He coached youth baseball and soccer and belonged to the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle of Pahrump; four sons, Josh and Jacob of Michigan and Tyler and Zac of Pahrump; a daughter, Taylor of Pahrump; a brother, Rod of California; and his mother, Martha of California.
Anna McNutt
A memorial mass for Anna May McNutt, 95, who died Dec. 11, 2000 in Pahrump, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
She was born Jan. 14, 1904 in New York.
She worked as a telephone company supervisor for AT&T before retiring 39 years ago.
She came to Pahrump from Lancaster, Calif., 10 years ago, and belonged to Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Jack) Cochran of Pahrump; a son, Joseph (Margaret) DeSantis of New York; two sisters, Catherine Zeller and Grace Malczynski, both of New York; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Charlotte Keppen
Died November 17, 2000
No local services are planned for Charlotte Keppen, 69, who died Nov. 17 in a Las Vegas hospital.
She was born March 30, 1931, in Singlehouse, Pa.
She was a homemaker and a member of Moose Lodge 1141.
She was a Pahrump resident who lived 26 years in Las Vegas.
Survivors include husband Clifford of Pahrump; daughters Dawn McMurtry and Margaret, both of Avon, N.Y.; sons Roy of Atlanta, N.Y., and Clifford III of Nunda, N.Y.; sisters Margie Brennen of Fairport, N.Y., and Etta Fisher of Michigan; brother James Slocum of Kentucky; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchil-dren. Wilbert Chaput
Died October 14, 2000
A memorial service for Wilbert E. Chaput, 80, who died Oct. 14 in Pahrump, will be held at a later date in Pahrump.
He was born Dec. 19, 1919, in Massachusetts.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, then worked as a construction specialist in air conditioning before retiring.
He was an eight-year resident of Pahrump.
Daughter Connie Bosma of California, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive him.
Vernon Archer
Died October 19, 2000
A memorial service for Vernon Wayne Archer, 80, who died Oct. 19 in Pahrump, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Pahrump Family Mortuary chapel.
He was born Jan. 13, 1920, in Meadville, Mo.
He made the U.S. Army his career and served in World War II and the Korean War.
He came to Pahrump 13 years ago from Columbus, Ohio, and was a member of Moose Lodge No. 808, Masons, The Order of the Scottish Rite and the Aladdin Temple in Columbus.
Wife Gale of Pahrump, son John of Medinah, Ill., daughter Carol Archer-Maxwell of Newark, Ohio, grandchildren Ben, Grace, Liegh Ann and Christa and three great-grandchildren survive him. (10/19/00)
Melvin Bailey
Died October 11, 2000
Services for Melvin J. Bailey, 80, who died Oct. 11 in his home, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Neptune Society chapel, 720 Buol Lane.
He was born April 8, 1920, in American Fork, Utah.
He served in the Army Air Force in World War II, then farmed, mined and worked as a real estate agent.
He was an 18-year resident of Pahrump.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alleen of Pahrump; daughters Sherri Palmer of Layton, Utah, Teresa Wilson of Fernley, and Carol Comins of Raleigh, N.C.; sons Joe of West Jordan, Utah, and Shawn of Granville, Ill.; sisters Joan Bailey of Glendale, Ariz., Beth Miller of Elkridge, Utah; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pinky Martinez
Died October 18, 2000
Funeral services for Pinky Martinez, 58, who died Oct. 18 in Pahrump, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Pahrump Family Mortuary chapel.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and burial in the Chief Tecopa cemetery will follow the service.
He was born Oct. 2, 1942, in Fallsbrook, Calif.
He was self-employed in the mobile home repair business and belonged to the First Southern Baptist Church.
He came to Pahrump from Hammet, Calif., 12 years ago.
Wife Patricia of Pahrump, sons Jesse (Debbie) and Robert (Joslyn), both of Pahrump, daughter Eileen of Hammet and eight grandchildren survive him.
A daughter, Vickie, preceded him in death. (10/18/00)
