Bonita Fuge
Visitation for Bonita M. Fuge, 59, who died July 5 in Las Vegas, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pahrump Family Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grandview cemetery.
She was born Aug. 17, 1943 in Oklahoma and was a 12-year resident of Pahrump, coming from California.
She worked as a school bus driver in Rialto, Calif., before retiring. She was a member of the Pahrump Amateur Radio Club and Amateur Radio Emergency Services, and belonged to Water from the Rock Christian Fellowship.
Her husband, Gerald J. Fuge, of Pahrump; daughters Shellie Smith and Tina Miller, both of Pahrump; and seven grandchildren survive her.

Douglas Bullman
A memorial service for Douglas A. Bullman, 84, who died June 20 in Pahrump, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pahrump Valley United Methodist Church.
He was born May 28, 1919 in Elmhurst, Ill., and was a 15-year resident of Pahrump, coming from Boulder City.
He served in the U.S. Army Infantry in Italy during World War II, and then worked as a printer for R.C. Donnelley until his retirement in 1974. He belonged to Pahrump Valley United Methodist Church.
His sons Douglas (Barbara) Bullman and Bruce (Vicki) Bullman, both of California; sister Ruth Stevenson of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren survive him.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. His wife Elizabeth passed two days later on June 22.

Elizabeth Bullman
A memorial service for Elizabeth K. Bullman, 85, who died June 22 in Las Vegas, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pahrump Valley United Methodist Church.
She was born May 24, 1918 in Simla, India, and was a 15-year resident of Pahrump, coming from Boulder City.
She worked as a teacher for the state of Illinois until retiring in 1974, and belonged to Pahrump Valley United Methodist Church.
Her sons Douglas (Barbara) Bullman and Bruce (Vicki) Bullman, both of California; brother Dr. John Koenig of Illinois; sister Dorothy Powers of Georgia; and four grandchildren survive her.
She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and her husband Douglas on June 20.

Paul Hoffman
Paul Elmer Hoffman, 87, died July 6 in Michigan.
He was born July 16, 1915 in Gypsum, Kan. He lived in Lexington, Mich., and was a former resident of Pahrump and Washington state.
His daughter Laurel (Jon) Kosht of Lexington, Mich.; sister Gladys Kretzer of Hutchinson, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren survive him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zena M. (Finch) Hoffman, in August 2000, and sons P. Keith and David L. Hoffman.

Josephine Maki
Visitation for Josephine Rose Maki, 83, who died July 6 in Las Vegas, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Pahrump Family Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Bob Lewis officiating, with burial to follow at Grandview cemetery.
She was born Dec. 27, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio and was a resident of Pahrump for 12 years, coming from California.
She worked as a secretary for Claremont College before retiring 18 years ago and was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Her husband, Toivo, of Pahrump; daughters Linda (Jack) Shue of West Covina, Calif.; Janet (Billy) Whitehead and Edith Wallace, both of Holly Pond, Ala.; sons Ronald (Karen) Wallace of Ardmore, Tenn., Charles Wallace of Glendale, Ariz., and Gary Wallace of Perris, Calif.; and 24 grandchildren survive her.

Charles Graham
Charles Columbus Graham, 73, died June 7 in Phoenix, Ariz.
His sons Charles D. Graham, Daniel Graham, David Kipp, all of Arizona, and Charles V. Graham of Iowa; and daughter Faith Smith of Nevada survive him.
A service will be held at noon July 19 in Mesa, Ariz. Friends and family may call Faith Smith at 72-340-8861 for more information. (6/7/03)
John Andrews
A memorial service for John Pete "Andresakis" Andrews, 87, who died May 10, will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Galls Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
He was born Nov. 23, 1915 in San Francisco to Pete John and Bridget (Fitzpatrick) Andresakis.
He moved from Oroville, Calif., to Carson City in 1947, where he worked on the Western Pacific Railroad. He also owned a radio repair shop, worked in the mines of Virginia City and delivered for a distributing company around the tri-county saloons.
He then moved to Kingsbury, Stateline, Nev., where he worked for Harvey's Casino in 1950s, and then worked as a keno writer for Harrah's. He was also an inventor. He moved to Carson Valley in 1976.
His sisters Ann of Carlsbad, Calif., and Nancy; brother James of Pahrump; children Louise Andresakis Manoukian of Carson Valley, Pete Andrews, and Jean Andres Weddell of Healdsburg, Calif.; companion and long-time friend, Elinore L. Dubois of Gardnerville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive him.
His sister Mary, brother Christopher, and son John Paul Andresakis, preceded him in death.

Sharon Studt
Sharon Lee Studt, 66, died May 22 in Las Vegas. She was born June 6, 1936 in Kansas.
She was an 11-year resident of Pahrump, coming from California, and worked as a food server for the Nye County School District.
Her husband Howard of Pahrump; son Robert (Laura) Case of California; daughters Kathy (Ken) Harrell and Sue (Mike) Hug, both of New Jersey; and six grandchildren survive her.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mountain View Casino employees fund.

Christopher Oxborrow
Services for Christopher Wayne Oxborrow, 20, who died May 25 in Henderson, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Chief Tecopa cemetery.
He was born in Las Vegas and was a resident of Pahrump. He worked as a service representative for a motorcycle shop.
He loved motorcycles, motorcycle racing events, and all kinds of outdoor recreational activities.
His father Jerry and mother Jana Marie, both of Pahrump; sister Robyn of Pahrump; grandparents Deanna Ciscar of Pahrump, Ken and Kathleen Oxborrow of Pahrump, and David and Betty Fielding of Ely; and relatives Kathy and Bill Valerio of Denver, Randy and Christie Fielding, Paul and Carol Fielding, Roy and Chris Oxborrow of Ely, Bruce and Theresa Oxborrow of Las Vegas, and Anna Marie Peterson survive him.

Freda DeVous
Services for Freda Eleanor DeVous, 81, who died June 8 in Las Vegas, will be held at 6 p.m. today at the Neptune Society chapel, 720 Buol Lane, with Pastor Dick Bauer presiding.
She was born Oct. 26, 1921 in Ontario, Canada, and moved to Pahrump in 1996 coming from Arroyo Grande, Calif.
She worked as secretary for the Hughes Corporation and was a member of the Elks and Moose. She loved reading mysteries and collected porcelain birds.
Her sons Mark (Yvonne) DeVous and Arthur (Sue) DeVous, both of Pahrump; granddaughter Kara (Tony) Curto of Pahrump; and three great grandchildren survive her.

Theresa Krukowski
Services for Theresa Krukowski, 70, who died June 6 at her home in Pahrump, will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church in Las Vegas.
She was born Dec. 27, 1932, in New York, and was a Pahrump resident.
She worked as a cosmetologist before retiring.
Her husband Frank of Pahrump and two daughters survive her.

Vivien Houser
Services have been held for Vivien M. Houser, 77, who died July 17 in Wickenburg, Ariz.
She was born May 26, 1926 in Houghton Lake, Mich., and had been a 15-year resident of Pahrump.
She was a real estate broker and the owner of PVH Realty in Pahrump.
He husband Paul of Wickenburg; sons David (Debbie) Houser of Pahrump, Gary (Jaime) Houser of Middletown, Calif., Larry (Julia) Houser of Wickenburg, and Greg (Chris) Houser of Las Vegas; grandchildren Jason (Barbara) Houser and Matt (Jerri) Houser, both of Pahrump, Justin Houser of Las Vegas, Michael (Carolyn) Lamme of Phoenix, Julia (Nick) Chondropoulos of Riverside, Calif., Danielle DeWeese and Ashley Hathaway; and 10 great grandchildren survive her.
