He was a member of the Groton, Homer and McGraw Rod & Gun Clubs and the National Rifle Association. A daughter, Penny Leonard, died previously. Survivors: His wife, the former Wenda M. Coon; two daughters, Bunnie Seager of Greenville, Texas, and Julie Barnhart of Mexico; five sons, William and Thomas Leonard, both of Cortland, Ted Fellows of McLean, Robert Jones of Virgil and Myron Leonard of Preble; three sisters, Mary Helzer of Moravian Falls, N.C., Dorothy Corl of Virgil and Jane Leonard of Truxton; a brother, Howard of McGraw; 15 grandchildren. Elizabeth H. "Betty" Quinn Mulcahey, 89, of Bennett Manor Senior Apartments, East Syracuse, died Monday. Born in Clyde, she lived in the Syracuse area most of her life. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Lucy's Church. Her husband, Timothy F., died in 1988. Her son, Timothy G., died in 2000. She was a self-employed beautician in Syracuse and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York. Her husband, Joseph J., died in 1974. Survivors: Two daughters, Eileen Edwards of York and Rita Basgall of Western Springs, Ill.; a son, Joel of West Chester, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Dwyer of Liverpool, Mary Jo Custer of Cuyler, Colleen L. Dugan of Evans, Ga., and Erin E. Earle Buck, 81, of 304 Scottholm Blvd., Syracuse, died Wednesday. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from Syracuse University and University of Chicago Law School. He retired in 1989 as president of New York Janitorial Service Inc. after more than 32 years. He was a volunteer with Contact and a member of Lafayette Country club and League of Women Voters. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in Europe. After the war, he was a master sergeant and was in charge of a hospital for prisoners of war and the medical unit of a redeployment center. Survivors: His wife, the former Minna R. Rodnon, a retired Onondaga County Family Court judge; two daughters, Beverly Buck of Denver, Colo., and Carolyn Buck Luce of New York City; a son, Michael of Waimanalo, Hawaii; two brothers, Phillip of Syracuse and Mitchel of Sun City West, Ariz.; six grandchildren. She graduated from Sidney High School and Good Shepherd Hospital School of Nursing in Syracuse. She retired as a registered nurse from Gelder Medical Group in Sidney after many years. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Cazenovia and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sidney. She was a member of the 1928 Alumni Association of Syracuse University. Her husband, Alton, died in 1956. Survivors: A daughter, Nancy Butler-Trees of Cazenovia; a son, David A. of Norlina, N.C.; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Solace Church. Her husband, William J. Sr., died in 1983; a daughter, Nancy Cowan, and a son, William J. Jr., died in 1998. Survivors: Five daughters, Patricia Buchalla, Helen J. Cowan and Mary E. She also taught school in Amboy and Altmar-Parish Williamstown school district. She was a member of Amboy Center United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's Group. She was a member of Eastern Star in Williamstown. Her husband, Stanley, died in 2000. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Baldwinsville and Baldwinsville Volunteer Center. She was a Bloodmobile volunteer with the American Red Cross for 35 years.
