Raymond F. Picciano, 76, of Stein Road, Weedsport, died Wednesday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was born in Auburn. He was a sales representative for Mark Products in Syracuse for more than 20 years and had been a bartender at the Krebs in Skaneateles. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Weedsport and a former member of Weedsport Lions Club. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.Survivors: His wife of 52 years, the former Frances Hearn; a daughter, Denise F. Picciano of Syracuse; five sons, Joseph W. of Auburn, Peter M. of Orlando, Fla., Richard F. of Cortland, Jon R. of Weedsport and Robert K. of Houston; two brothers, Anthony and Edward, both of Auburn; seven grandchildren. He was a former member of Order of Eagles in Florida and was a life member of John Cole American Legion in Port Byron and Auburn Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1975. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Two daughters, Betty Minnoe and Shirley Tripp, both of Auburn; a son, Ken of Auburn; a sister, Lenora Ibbs of Red Creek; three brothers, William of Conquest, Vern of Montezuma and Bernard of Ocala, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. He was a life member of Leatherstocking Detachment of the Marine Corps League and was a member of the Oneida American Legion. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and received a Purple Heart. His wife, the former Barbara Brennan, died in 1992.
