She was a member of the Arion Singing Society and its ladies auxiliary, a communicant of Assumption Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society, and a member of the Neighborhood Rosary Group. Her first husband, Christopher Halbig, died in 1932. Her second husband, Joseph Lang, died in 1993. A son, Edward Halbig, died in 1997; another son, Michael Lang, died in 1998.
