Robert L. Emmons, 76, of 805 Oneida St., Fulton, died Wednesday. Born in Naples, he lived in Hannibal many years before moving to Fulton in October. He was a truck driver for 30 years with Teamsters Local 118 in Rochester. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: None known. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home. Rose Gingelewski, 88, of Green Island died Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, she lived on Vann Street in Syracuse before moving to Green Island in 1998. She retired in 1978 after 41 years as an inspector for Syracuse China Co. She was a communicant of Transfiguration Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Her husband, Robert, died in 1984. Survivors: A son, Walter of Troy; a sister, Lottie Piascik of Syracuse; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren. Services: 9 a.m. Saturday at Gang Memorial Chapel and 9:30 a.m. in Transfiguration Church. Burial, Assumption Cemetery. C. Frank Harrigan, 56, of 100 Strathmore Drive, Syracuse, died Wednesday. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from St. Patrick's High School, Le Moyne College and Syracuse University College of Law. He was an attorney with Grossman, Kinney, Dwyer & Harrigan law firm since 1993. He was corporation counsel for the city of Syracuse from 1986 to 1993. He was an attorney with Harrigan & Dolan from 1978 to 1986 and for Child Protective Services of Onondaga County from 1975 to 1978. He owned Western Lights Liquors since 1997. Survivors: His wife of 33 years, the former Margaret Reilly; a daughter, Molly R. Harrigan of Clifton Park; two sons, Christopher J. of Syracuse and Jeffrey P. of New York City; a brother, Kevin P. of Syracuse; one grandchild. Robert "Harry" Hillman, 65, of Fletcher, N.C., died Wednesday. Born in Middlesborough, England, he lived in Syracuse 30 years until 1996. He graduated from Constantine Technical College in Middlesborough with a degree in structural engineering. He worked at Cives Steel from 1966 to 1977 and owned and operated Hilton Steel in Liverpool for 17 years, retiring in 1999. Survivors: His wife of four years, the former Linda Maier; a daughter, Suzanne Hillman of Charlotte, N.C.; two sons, Jackson, at home, and Martyn of Baldwinsville; a sister, Joan Stewart of Middlesborough; his former wife, Margaret of Charlotte. William Irving, 87, of New Port Richey, Fla., died Monday. Born in Holyoke, Mass., he lived in North Syracuse 30 years until 1981. He retired in 1981 as an office manager for Lenox Heating in Syracuse. He was an Army veteran. His first wife, Gertrude, died in 1976; his second wife, Constance, died in 1999. Survivors: A daughter, Patricia Piro of Mattydale; a son, William of California; two stepdaughters, Joanne Komdat of North Fort Myers, Fla., and Dorothy Curtian of White Plains; two brothers, Stanley of Tennessee and Harold of Hawaii; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Robert C. Kosty

Robert C. Kosty, 69, of Westvale died Wednesday at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre. Born in Corning, he graduated from Central High School in Syracuse in 1952 and St. Basil's Seminary in Stanford, Conn. He attended Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He retired in 1991 as a senior probation officer and supervisor with the Onondaga County Probation Department after 31 years. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church. In Corning, he and his brothers performed with Buffalo Bob Smith. He served as a drum major in Corning and Syracuse bands and was a professional juggler who appeared on the "Ted Mack Amateur Hour." He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and served as a medical corpsman. Survivors: His wife of 36 years, the former Mary Ann Kohlbrenner; two daughters, Mary C. Madrid of San Jose, Calif., and Clare M. Moore of Auburn; a brother, Phillip of Corning; five grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Whelan Bros. Donald R. Trushaw, 78, of Swanton, Vt., died Dec. 20. Born in North Bangor, he graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Malone. He lived in Liverpool 20 years, moving away about five years ago. He worked at Petrolane LP Gas Co. and Pyrofax Gas Co., both in Mexico, and retired as a regional manager in Lake Clear after more than 30 years. He had also been a telegraph operator for New York Central Railroad. He was a grand knight for the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Holy Name Society, both associated with St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Malone. Survivors: His wife, the former Therese Bernier; a daughter, Gayle Bero of Liverpool; a son, Stephen of Swanton; a brother, Clarence of Plattsburgh; six grandchildren.
