Survivors: Her husband, Edward; two daughters, Dr. Stephanie Benner of Sellersville, Pa., and Deborah Orland of Colton; three brothers, Vincent Yaeger of Grafton, Neb., Richard Yaeger of Sutton, Neb., and Charles Yaeger of Pleasant Dale, Neb.; two grandchildren. Services: None. Her body was donated to SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Nelson Funeral Home, Oswego has arrangements. She served on the North Syracuse Planning Commission, was past president and member of the Bishop Curley Columbiettes and a former member of the North Syracuse Jaycettes. Survivors: Her husband of 38 years, Gary; two daughters, Mary K. Donaldson of Mattydale and Patricia S. Bennett of North Syracuse; a son, Richard C. of Rochester; four grandchildren. Gertrude M. Williams Foell, 93, of Spring Street, Syracuse, died Saturday. She was born in Syracuse. She was a clerk and bookkeeper at Dey Brothers department store for many years. She was a communicant of Assumption Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Legion of Mary. Her husband, Edward H., died in 1987. Survivors: Three adopted granddaughters, Margaret A. DeLeo of North Syracuse, Carol Barletta of Liverpool and Anne Barletta of Boston; four adopted great-grandchildren. Henry P. Frankenfield

Henry P. Frankenfield, 80, of Liverpool, died Friday. He was born in Bushkill, Pa. He graduated from Indiana Tech. He retired in 1987 as a technical writer for Carrier Corp. and had been a missile engineer with General Electric for 15 years. He was a committeeman for the Clay Democratic Party. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving in the China-Burma-Indian Theater. He also was a Korean War veteran. Survivors: His wife of 54 years, the former Joan Dowling; two daughters, Jean Tremont of Bellevue, Wash., and Karen Frankenfield of Philadelphia, Pa.; four sons, Chuck, Brian and Thomas, all of Liverpool, and John of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Maurer Funeral Home. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, 300 Second St., Liverpool. Rev. Anthony P. Giarrusso

The Rev. Anthony Paul Giarrusso, 91, of Brookfield, Wis., formerly of Syracuse, died Dec. 10. He was born in Italy. He graduated from Syracuse University and Chicago Theological Seminary. He was a Congregational minister for 50 years. His wife, Eleanor, died in 1995; and two sons, Dr. Don and Dr. Mark, also died previously. Survivors: Two sisters, Alda Rainone of Syracuse and Anita Gibbons of Los Angeles. Services: Were in Brookfield, Wis. Pirro and Sons Funeral Home has local arrangements.

Elma G. Yerdon Cheney, 90, of Oswego died Saturday at Loretto Heights, Oswego. Born in Redfield, she lived in Lacona for 45 years. She was a graduate of Redfield Union School and Batavia School of Nursing. She was a nurse and retired in 1966. From 1949 to 1959, she operated a nursing home in Sandy Creek. She also worked previously at Oswego Hospital. Her husband, Neil B., died in 1993. Survivors: Two daughters, Marilyn Crast of Lacona and Linda Halstead of Pulaski; three sons, Neil of Potsdam, John of Redfield and James of Central Square; two sisters, Helen Yerdon of Phoenix and Beatrice Mothersell of Pulaski; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Frederick McCullough Jeffers, 92, of 7998 Grant Avenue Road, Sennett, died Friday at Finger Lakes Center for Living, Auburn. Born in Schenectady, he moved to Sennett in 1940. He graduated from Schenectady High School and Cornell University and attended Antioch College, Ohio. He retired in 1980 after 40 years as owner of Windingle Nursery in Sennett. He was a town board member and town justice from 1968 to 1985. He was a member of Sennett Federated Church and the Lord's Acre Class of the church. His daughter, Susan Blumer, died previously. Survivors: His wife of 66 years, the former Marion Dysinger; two sons, Daniel T. of Sennett and Thomas of Skaneateles; a sister, Alice Hoffman of East Lansing, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was a communicant of St. Michael's Church and was formerly active with Boy Scout Troop 68, Onondaga Hill. Survivors: His wife of 49 years, Theresa; two daughters, C.L. Whiting-Bryant of Singer Island, Fla., and Patty Grosek of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a son, Kenneth R. Jr. of Onondaga Hill; a brother, Donald of North Syracuse; two granddaughters.
