He was a truck driver for Flickingers Food Distribution Center for many years and was also a truck driver for the town of Clay Highway Department. He was a member of Oneida Lake Association, the Horseshoe Island Road Homeowners Organization and the Teamsters Union. Survivors: His wife, the former Delores Ott; three sons, Erich L. of Liverpool and Kurt and Terry, both of Phoenix; a sister, Pauline Van Dyke of Gloversville; two brothers, Donald and Paul, both of Amsterdam; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Monday in Pine Plains Cemetery, Henry Clay Boulevard, Clay. Williams Funeral Home, Cicero, has arrangements.

Douglas C. Walling Sr., 67, of 31 Crandall St., Cortland, died Wednesday. He was born in Binghamton. He was a drywall and painting contractor. Survivors: His wife of 47 years, the former Prudence Reid; four daughters, Juanita Poole of Truxton, Julie Rice of Cincinnatus and Darlene and Lisa Walling, both of Cortland; two sons, Douglas C. Jr. of Elkins, W.Va., and Paul A. of Cortland; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Cortland. Joseph A. Albano, 86, of 4716 Westbury Road, Red Creek, died Friday. He was born in New York City. He retired as owner and operator of Albano Farms in Red Creek. He was a member of St. Thomas Church in Red Creek and was a past member of its Parish Council. He was a member of Empire State Potato Growers and Wayne County Farm Bureau. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: His wife of 56 years, the former Alice Martens; a daughter, Cynthia Yuhas of Fairport; a son, Joseph of Oswego; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Florence Lewis Coldren, 94, of Pitcher Hill Apartments, North Syracuse, died Thursday at Birchwood Health Care Center in Liverpool. She was born in Charlotte, Mich. She retired in 1962 as a secretary for L.W. Singer Publishing Co. She was a member of Luther Memorial Church in North Syracuse. Her husband, Wilbur E., died in 1976. Survivors: Two sons, Richard E. of North Syracuse and Thomas D. of Liverpool; a brother, Charles Lewis Jr. of Westminster, Md.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Lillie Bell Quincy Cyrus, 66, of 108 Phillips Road, Syracuse, died Wednesday at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre of renal failure. She was born in Bennettville, S.C. She was an aide for Home Aides of Central New York. She was a member of Church House of Levites in Syracuse and Catherine Street Day Care Center and was a former member of Faithway Church of Deliverance and its choir in Brooklyn. Her husband of 43 years, Elijah F., died in 1994. Survivors: Two daughters, Renee and Debbie Cyrus, both of Syracuse; six sons, Mitchell and Andrew, both of Syracuse, Elijah, Johnny and Timothy, all of Brooklyn, and Anthony of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, Patricia Williams of Queens, Sharon Williams of Syracuse and Paulette Williams of Long Beach,  Calif.; a brother, Eugene Williams of the Bronx; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Edward J. Kobos Sr., 81, of Brown Avenue, Mattydale, died Friday at Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville. He was born in Syracuse and lived in Mattydale 52 years. He retired in 1984 as a tool and die maker for Lipe Rollway in Syracuse after 43 years. He was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale. He was an amateur radio operator with the call WB2ELV. He was a member of Riverside Golf League in Brewerton and United Steel Workers Local 14929. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in Europe. Survivors: His wife of 55 years, the former Irene Facik; a daughter, Cynthia Strong of Hanover, Mass.; two sons, Edward J. Jr. of New Hartford and Christopher of East Syracuse; a sister, Virginia Organski of Syracuse; a brother, Walter J. of Brewerton; five grandchildren. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Men's Club, Lakeland Elks, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 310 and Ni-Mo Retirees. His first wife, Fern, died previously. He retired in 1975 as a machinist for Cambridge Instrument Co. in Ossining after more than 30 years. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of Tappan Zee Model Railroad Club and a former member of Highland Avenue United Methodist Church in Ossining for 70 years. She retired in 1986 as a clerical worker at Gaylord Bros. in Liverpool after 10 years. She was co-owner of A.P. Yager Plumbing & Heating in Central Square. She was past matron of Elizabeth Caldwell Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Central Square. She was a member of Central Square Community Church and was a life member of Central Square Fire Department Auxiliary. Survivors: Two daughters, Donna Chesebro and Diane Yager, both of Clay; two sons, Dale of Central Square and Dean of Englewood, Fla.; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
