Clara Ciesla Tracy, 76, of 57 Curtis St., Fulton, died Saturday. Born in Oswego, she graduated from Charles S. Wilson Memorial School of Nursing. She retired in 1991 as a registered nurse at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton. She was a member of the Cadet Nursing Corps and the Altar & Rosary Society at St. Michael's Church, Fulton. She was a former member of the Fulton Women's Club and the Fulton Polish Home. Survivors: Three daughters, Gail Godici of Mexico, and Judy Tracy and Laurie Tracy, both of Syracuse; a son, Eugene J. of Fulton; two sisters, Sadie Ciesla and Helen Ciesla, both of Oswego. Doris Dean Vastag, 82, formerly of Eastwood, died Friday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. She was born in Syracuse. She was a foster grandparent at the Syracuse Developmental Center. Survivors: A daughter, Mary Ann Sanford of Syracuse; a son, Richard E. of Syracuse; two sisters, Bertha Davies and Shirley Frazier, both of Syracuse; a brother, Earl Dean of Liverpool; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Doris Burnham Reddick Vick, 92, of Evans, Ga., died April 10. Born in Oswego, she lived many years in North Syracuse before moving to Evans in 1990. She received her bachelor and master's degrees from Syracuse University. She retired after 20 years as librarian at North Syracuse High School. She also volunteered at Brandon Wilde Library until the age of 90. Her first husband, Howard Reddick, and her second husband, Stanley A. Vick, both died previously. Survivors: A daughter, Roxann Bustos of Augusta, Ga.; a stepdaughter, June Kellar of Syracuse; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. May 17 in  White Chapel Memory Gardens. R. Gerry Younis Sr

R. Gerry Younis Sr., 62, of Sebastian, Fla., died Friday. Born in Auburn, he lived most of his live in Baldwinsville before moving to Florida in 1986. He attended C.W. Baker High School. He was a cook at The Marker Restaurant, Sebastian, and also at the B'ville Diner for several years. He was a member of St. Sebastian's Church, Sebastian. He was a Navy veteran. Survivors: A daughter, Robin L. France of Phoenix; two sons, including Kevin of Phoenix; two sisters, including Beverly McKeeby of Baldwinsville; five brothers, Robert and David, both of Baldwinsville, Edward of Syracuse and Gary and William; two grandchildren. Patricia LaFrance Adams, 71, of Greenpoint, Liverpool, died Saturday at Francis House. She was born in Plattsburgh. She lived in the Syracuse area for most of her life and previously lived in California. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. Her first husband, Charles C. LaFrance, died in 1971. Her second husband, Harold K. Adams, died in 1999. A son, David LaFrance, died in 1966. Survivors: Five sons, Chip, Ken and Timothy LaFrance, all of Cicero, and Keith and Doug LaFrance, both of Syracuse; seven sisters, Bette Hebert of Warners, Barbara Bradt and Susan Millett of Liverpool, Jean Crisp of Florida, Sandy Cerio of Cicero, her twin sister, Theresa Cahill of California, and Rita Zambito of Rochester; four brothers, Bob Millett of Plattsburgh, Jack Millett of Liverpool, Jerry Millett of Eastwood and Tom Millett of Minoa; 16 grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 11:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Myron Bacheller

Myron "Chuck" Bacheller, 77, of Eaton Street, Hamilton, died Friday. Born in Jeanerette, La., he lived in Hamilton since 1967. He was educated in Rayne, La. He retired in 1966 from the Marine Corps after 23 years. He served during World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. After his retirement he worked for the American Management Association. He was a member of L.V. Evans American Legion Post 375 in Hamilton and the Marine Corps Association and served as an election inspector. Survivors: His wife of 47 years, the former Dorothy J. Raffauf; two daughters, Precious Bacheller-Steele of Vidor,  Texas, and Sharon Partridge of Poolville; a sister, Deanie Hunt of Youngsville, La.; a brother, Clyde of Scott, La.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Beatrice A. Wallace Bishop, 83, of Boston Street, Oneida, died Friday. She was born in Red Deer, Alberta. She graduated from Oneida High School, attended Syracuse University and graduated from Western Kentucky University. She taught home economics for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Monroe County Retired Teachers Association, the New York State Retired Teachers Association and the Embroiderers Guild of America. Her husband of 35 years, Edward, died in 1977. Survivors: A daughter, Sandra Bishop of Rochester; a sister, Thelma Haigh of Albion; a brother, Jack E. Wallace of Oneida. Frederick H. Gallinger, 74, of 4067 Rockwell Road, Marcellus, died Saturday. He was a life resident of Marcellus. He worked at Niagara Mohawk for 35 years, retiring in 1989 as a district operator. He previously worked at Marcellus Liquor Store. He was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church and was a member of the parish council. He was a member of the Marcellus Historical Society. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Marcellus American Legion Ralph Share Post 297, where he was service officer and a past commander. A daughter, Sandy, died in 1965. Survivors: His wife of 46 years, the former Anne Bernier; two daughters, Rebecca Guarasci of Liverpool and Renee Ventrone of Syracuse; a son, David J. of Marietta; two sisters, Rosemary Miller of Eden, N.C., and Beverly Dodrill of Syracuse; a brother, Robert A. of Mobile, Ala.; a grandson; four stepgrandchildren. Jerden E. Genge Sr., 69, of Happy Valley Road, Verona, died Saturday. Born in Oneida, he graduated from Oneida High School and the Navy's barbering school. He retired in 1995 as a barber. After retirement, he assisted at his son's barber shop. He was a member of Oneida Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and committee member. He was president and past director of the Oneida Rifle Club and won blue ribbons for carving at the New York State Fair. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: His wife of 47 years, the former Merna Landers; a daughter, Rebecca Brosnan of Liverpool; three sons, Jerden E. Jr. of Munnsville, Gary of Derby, Kan., and Dennis of Coral Gables, Fla.; his mother and stepfather, Alice and Henry Bowman of Clearwater, Fla.; two sisters, Barbara Collier of Delmar and Marilyn Edkin of Hayesville, N.C.; 11 grandchildren. He was a former vestryman of St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, a volunteer at University Hospital, a member of the Cavalry Club and a former member of the University Club of Syracuse. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Survivors: His wife of 42 years, the former Rosamond Cashier; a daughter, Cristina M. Faso of San Diego; a son, Laurence J. He drove for Syracuse Transit and retired in 1982 from Centro. He was honored as Driver of the Month in March 1976, was president of Amalgamated Transit Union Division 580 for nine years and was honored as its president emeritus. His first wife, the former Barbara Reid, died in 1968; a daughter, Dejuvia, died in 1967; a daughter, Barbara, died in 1983; a son, Reid A., died in 1994.
