Leon E. Sisson

MARYLAND — Mr. Leon E. "Sonny" Sisson, 73, of Maryland passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, April 26, 2005, after a short illness.

He was born June 20, 1931, in Unadilla, the son of Leon A. and Elsie (Herrwagon) Sisson.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty Jane (Ross) Sisson; his son, Brett, and his wife, Sue, and their two children, Mitchell and Brooke, of Maryland; his daughter, Babette and her two children, Jacob and Jenaye, of Schenevus; his son, Michael of Oneonta and his three children, Todd, Clarissa and Mikayla; two sisters, Elsie and Dan Giles of Florida and Jeanette and John Higley of Unadilla; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews; and many dear friends.

Leon was employed at Bendix in Sidney for 42 years.

Leon enjoyed bowling and played Unadilla Town Team Ball. He was an avid hunter and was well-known as an excellent marksman. One of his greatest ventures that he enjoyed immensely was the elk hunt in Montana with his nephew, Brian Williams. And he also enjoyed spending time with his dear friend, Ted Stucka, and his friends from New Jersey.

Leon was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Schenevus and the National Rifle Association. He was a former member of the Wells Bridge Fire Department, the Sidney Moose Lodge and the Unadilla Rod and Gun Club.

Calling hours will be held from 1 p.m. to the funeral service time at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta, with the Rev. Richard Knudson, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Catskill Area Hospice, 542 Main St., Oneonta, NY 13820.

Arrangements are by the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.

Robert Wesley Graham

COOPERSTOWN — Robert Wesley Graham, known to friends as "Bob" or "Wes" or "Scout" and to family as "Wesley," passed away at home Tuesday, April 26, 2005.

He was born Feb. 3, 1912, in Brooklyn, the son of immigrant Irish parents, Jennie Morton and Robert A. Graham.

He lived his life with the principles of God and Country and Scouting. His mantra, often repeated to his children, was, "Do the right thing!"

As a young man, Robert Wesley was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Brooklyn, and later, Bay Ridge Methodist Church in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. For the past 40 years he was a member of the United Methodist Church in Cooperstown.

On July 6, 1935, Robert Wesley married Ruth Mildred Waide.

Ruth and Wesley are the parents of Robert W. Graham Jr. and wife Ingrid, Dorothy Ruth Brining and husband Bob, Kenneth Graham and wife Lois, Dianne Feury and husband Tim, Glenn Graham and wife Maryanne, Linda Dunn Smirk and husband John, Janet Faure and husband Patrick, and James (J.B.) Graham and wife Mary Jean.

He is the brother of David Graham and wife Audrey, and Frances Froebe, who survive.

He is also uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is the grandfather of Robert W. Graham III, Alison Brining Kieber and husband Joe, Jennifer Brining Catalan and husband Andy, Erik Brining and wife Krissy, Jenny Graham Brugo and husband Chris, Kathy Graham Dallemagne and husband Paul, Kirsten Ruth Graham, Gregory Graham and wife Talitha, Courtney Graham Hall and husband Tim, Ted Feury and wife Jill, Margit Feury Ragland and husband Gar, Christine Graham, Meredith Graham, Ellen Graham Calandra and husband Pete, Michael Graham, Bruce Dunn and wife Tanhena, Elizabeth Dunn, Christine Smirk Feliciti and husband Tony, Francois, Gabrielle and Xavier Faure, and James and Daniel Graham.

He is the great-grandfather of Robert Wesley Graham IV, Alexander and Emily Kieber, Jamie and Nicholas Catalan, Eleanor and Theodore Graham, Lara, Caroline and Graham Brugo, Magdeleine and Paul Robert Dallemagne, Kenny, Patrick and Deirdre Hall, Grace, Jack and Wade Brining, and Abigail, Jonathan and Joseph Calandra.

He was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Nilsen; and his brothers, George and Arthur.

Robert Wesley worked at Dykes Lumber Company in Manhattan as a bookkeeper and was a career lieutenant firefighter in New York City. He participated in firefighting at the time of the conflagrations at Coney Island and at La Guardia Airport in 1939. Upon retiring from the NYC Fire Department, Ruth and Robert Wesley relocated to Cooperstown in 1964, where he held jobs at Bassett Hospital and worked as a contractor.

He was a member of the Uniformed Fire Officers Association, Uniformed Fireman’s Association, NYC, retired member of Cooperstown Fire Company, a charter member of the Cooperstown Emergency Squad, a member of the Cooperstown Methodist Men’s Club, trustee of Cooperstown United Methodist Church, Boy Scout Leader in both Brooklyn and Cooperstown, and he served as treasurer of the Middlefield Historical Society for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Expressions of sympathy may be given in memory of Robert Wesley Graham to the Cooperstown United Methodist Church Stained Glass Restoration Fund, to the Cooperstown Volunteer Fire Department or to the Cooperstown Rescue Squad.

Visiting hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at the Tillapaugh Funeral Home, Pioneer Street, Cooperstown.

A church service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Cooperstown, at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2005, with burial to follow at the Lakewood Cemetery.

Paul wrote, "I am convinced that neither death, nor life ... nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39 (NRSV.)

Einar A. Eklund

STAMFORD — Graveside interment services for Einar A. Eklund, who passed away Feb. 25, 2005, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2005, in Stamford Cemetery, Stamford.

Arrangements are with the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart.

Richard H. Gaffney

FLEISCHMANNS — Richard H. Gaffney, 33, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005, from a work-related accident on Moran Road, Fleischmanns.

Rick was born Sept. 29, 1971, in Norwich, the son of Richard Glen Gaffney and Carol.

Rick worked for three years as a truck driver for Josh Construction in Fleischmanns. He was also a grill cook at Belleayre Mountain Ski Center, Highmount.

Rick was an avid bowler, having bowled three 300 games. He was also a fan of NASCAR racing and driver Jeff Gordan.

He is survived by his fiancee, Lisa Morse; six children, Nicole, Richard G. (Buddy), Tristin H., Bradley Baker, Jasmin Miller and Zachary Morse; his best friend, Jeffrey McGowan; his mother, Carol; one sister, Melissa; one niece and one nephew; and Lisa’s mother and father, John and Loretta Barber.

He was predeceased by his father, Glen Gaffney.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005, at Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville, with the Rev. Joon Woo Lee officiating.

Burial will be in Bedell Cemetery, Fleischmanns.

Contributions may be made in memory of Richard Gaffney to the Fleischmanns Fire Department.

Funeral arrangements are by the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville.

Joyce E. Goodrich

UNADILLA — Joyce E. Goodrich, 75, formerly of Unadilla and most recently of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at The Hospital Nursing Care Facility in Sidney.

She was born May 6, 1929, in Meridale, the daughter of John and Lena (Gransbury) McDonald.

She married Kenneth M. Goodrich in 1949, and he passed away April 12, 2002.

She is survived by her three children, Fayette Goodrich and his companion, Gloria Filer, of Afton, Annette Nichols and her husband, Cecil, of Brooksville, Fla., and Debra Budine and her husband, Randy, of Oneonta; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her sisters, Charlotte Lambert of Oxford, Rhonda Morrow of St. Petersburg, Fla., Eleanor O’Dell of Gloversville, and Izetta Foree of Rockdale.

She was predeceased by a brother and a sister, James McDonald and Luella Conklin.

The family wishes to thank the staff of The Hospital Nursing Home Facility for all the fine care extended to Joyce over the years.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, in the Evergreen Hills Cemetery in Unadilla.

Arrangements are by the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, Oneonta.

Mary Janet Myers

WEST WINFIELD — Spring committal services for Mary Janet Myers, formerly of West Winfield, who died Feb. 26, 2005, will be held graveside at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Burlington Flats Cemetery, with the Rev. Beverly Butler, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are by the Houk-Johnston-Terry Funeral Home, Edmeston.

Beverly Zinkiewicz

SIDNEY — Beverly Elaine Zinkiewicz, 75, of Sidney Senior Village passed away Thursday, April 28, 2005, in Oneonta.

She was born July 13, 1929, daughter of the late Alfred and Harriett (Farrell) White in Sharon, Conn.

Beverly was predeceased by three husbands, Eugene Zinkiewicz, Paul Spurling and Charles Plows Sr., three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by three sons, Alfred F. White and Kelly Harris, Unadilla, Charles and Linda Plows Jr., Unadilla, and Edward C. and Debra Plows, Cherry Valley; grandchildren, Ashleigh and Charlie Brooman, Sheri Plows and Kelly Getz, Larry Plows and Jocelyn Whitfield, Amanda Snow, Cassandra Snow and Daniel Spindler, Jason Snow, Rebecca Plows, Sharlynn Plows, Joseph Plows and Annette Yerdon; great-grandchildren, Cole Thomas, Landon D., Bianca, Kyler, Kailey, Thomas, Scott, Cherokee and Adam; three brothers, Robert White, Mount Upton, Walter White, Torrington, Conn., and Wallace White, Chatham; two sisters, Phyllis Samuels, Sheffield, Mass., and Jean White, Torrington, Conn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney. Services will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. David Wood officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Unadilla.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sidney Emergency Squad.

Simon Richmond

GUILFORD — Funeral services for Simon Richmond of Guilford, who passed away March 11, 2005, at the New York State Veterans Home, Oxford, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2005, at the Guilford Center Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Doris White, pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in North Guilford Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford.

Anna W. Bruce

RICHFIELD SPRINGS — Anna W. Bruce, 96, of 104 North Washington St., Herkimer, formerly of Richfield Springs, passed away Thursday morning, April 28, 2005, in Folts Homes, Herkimer.

She was born Oct. 6, 1908, in the town of Richfield, daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Jennings Wikoff.

Mrs. Bruce was raised and educated in Richfield Springs. She furthered her education at Cazenovia Seminary and graduated from Syracuse University.

On Nov. 19, 1930, she was united in marriage with Louis R. Bruce. They had a loving and devoted union of 58 years. Mr. Bruce died May 20, 1989. They had made their home in New York City, Chevy Chase, Md., Washington, D.C., and Arlington, Va., before moving back to Richfield Springs in 1988.

Mrs. Bruce had a strong belief in God and was a member of the Church of Christ Uniting, Richfield Springs. She had taught Sunday school, played the organ and served as church choir director.

Anna was happiest when she was surrounded by her many friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Charles W. Bruce and his wife, Dr. San Juan Bruce, of El Paso, Texas, and Donald Bruce and his wife, Melanie, of Richfield Springs; a daughter, Katherine and her husband, William Huxtable, of Richfield Springs; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one nephew; and several cousins.

Funeral service and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Michael Herbert

COOPERSTOWN — Michael Herbert Jr., 61, of the town of Middlefield passed away Thursday morning, April 28, 2005, peacefully at home surrounded by the ones he loved and who were family in his heart.

He will be greatly missed, but we will take consolation in the fact he is in heaven in a healthy body doing the things he loved to do but was unable to do in the last few years of his life.

Mike was born in Brooklyn to Michael and Viola (Ackerman) Herbert on July 7, 1943. He was raised and educated in Brooklyn.

Mike is survived by his life mate of 13 years, Norine Lundy; her children, Donavan and Donna Lundy, Jennifer Lundy, Brandon and Kirsten Lundy and Brian Lundy; his grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica and Brandon Lundy Jr.; his sister-in-law, Mary Hoyt; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Joan) Hoke, Mr. and Mrs. Roger (Beverly) Erway, Mrs. George (Dale) Webster, Shirley Webster, Mr. and Mrs. Barry Webster and Mr. John Webster.

He was predeceased by his brother, Bob Hoyt; his brother-in-law, George Webster; his niece, Melissa Webster; his mother and father-in-law, Stanley and Gertrude Webster; and his parents, Michael and Viola Herbert.

Mike will be remembered with love by all who truly knew him. His witty personality, contagious laughter and wacky sense of humor will be with us always.

Mike loved to collect fish and toys for his aquarium. His aquarium was enjoyed by all adults and children who saw it. Mike was also an avid TV fan and was master of his remote control.

Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.

Funeral arrangements are by the Westcott Funeral Home Inc., 123 Main St., Unadilla, under the direction of James S. Westcott and James C. Magee, funeral directors.

Nancy Ann Pisani

HAMDEN — Nancy Ann Pisani, 67, of Mill Street, Hamden, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at home, surrounded by her family, after a long illness.

She was born in Bay Shore, the daughter of Paul A. and Madeline (Sharp) Jones. She grew up in West Sayville and graduated from Sayville High School in 1956.

She married Pat N. Pisani on Sept. 1, 1956. Nancy and Pat moved to Hamden 10 years ago. Nancy enjoyed spending time decorating and restoring her 1840s home.

She was a devoted member of the community and served as president of the Hamden Community and Historical Associations from 1998 until 2004. She was also involved with the Hamden Covered Bridge Celebration.

She was instrumental in starting "Old Home Days." She helped beautify the towns of Hamden and DeLancey by planting flower barrels along the main streets.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Pat Pisani; and her children, Sherry, Gary, Robbie; and their spouses, Cliff, Karen and Donna. She was a loving grandmother to Sarah, Laura, Thomas, Zachary, Abigail, Gabriel, Rebekah, Keri, Christopher and Kimberly. Two brothers, Paul Jones and George Jones, also survive.

There will be no calling hours.

Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Delhi, with the Rev. John Priest officiating.

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

Contributions are asked to be made to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, 14 Technology Drive, Suite 4, Setauket, NY 11733, in loving memory of Nancy A. Pisani.

Emily W. Cragin
COOPERSTOWN — Emily Williams Cragin, a nurse for many years at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown and formerly of Old School Court, died early Friday morning, April 29, 2005, at the Oneonta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 84.Emily was born July 12, 1920, in Kingston, a daughter of Arthur Mantor and Margaret (Bunting) Cragin.After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass., Emily attended the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in New York City and graduated from there in 1946. She later earned her master’s degree in nursing education from New York University.In the early 1950s, Emily moved to Oneonta and was a nursing instructor at Hartwick College. She was later employed by the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, first as head nurse in Center II, and she later became an evening coordinator, the position from which she retired."Mici," as she was affectionately known by her close friends, had been a member since 1956 of the First Presbyterian Church of Cooperstown, where she at one time sang in the Chancel Choir.She was a member of District 15 of the New York State Nurses’ Association, was an active participant at the Center for Continuing Adult Learning in Oneonta and was also a member of the New York State Historical Association.Emily is survived by two nephews, John Cragin Wyman of Chestnut Hill, Mass., and David B. Wyman of Castine, Maine; one niece, Margaret W. Tent of Birmingham, Ala.; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Wyman of Amherst, Mass.She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Cragin Wyman and Elizabeth Cragin.A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be offered at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cooperstown, with the Rev. James R. Ulrich, interim pastor, officiating. Immediately after the service, a time of refreshment and fellowship will take place in the chapel.In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in the form of memorial gifts may be made to the Susquehanna SPCA, 4841 State Highway 28, Cooperstown, NY 13326.Arrangements are under the direction of the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home in Cooperstown.

Robert E. Bartle
NORWICH — Robert E. Bartle of King Settlement Road, Norwich, passed away April 29, 2005, at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, surrounded by his loving family and dear friends, Harry and Janet Morgan, along with Kathleen Sampson.He fought a courageous battle with an undiagnosed disease.He was born Feb. 23, 1945, in Norwich, the son of Kenneth and Anna (Griffin) Bartle, who predeceased him. Two brothers, Duane and Gordon Bartle, also predeceased him.On Oct. 17, 1964, in German, he married Cheryl Abbott, who survives.He is also survived by his four precious daughters and their families, Darlene Muserallo and her companion, Brian, and her children, Aaron, Anthony, Anna and Morgan; Roberta Bartle and her companion, Tracie, and her children, Danielle and Andrea; Melody Dodge and her husband, Joe, and their children, Tyler and Eric; Kathryn Stafford and her husband, Peter, and their children, Bethany and Kaitlyn; and his brother, Lawrence Bartle. Bob is also survived by many family members too numerous to mention, and they were all important to him. Many of them spent an evening celebrating his most recent birthday to surprise him.Bob worked for many years as a home fuel-delivery driver and made many friends with the various customers he serviced. The one job he truly enjoyed and spoke of often was the years he spent working for Merton Utter at Martin Supply Company in Oxford. He drove a school bus in Norwich in the early 1970s. He tried tractor-trailer driving, but being the home person he was, after one trip out and he was ready to be a stay-at-home guy.Bob bowled in several leagues in Norwich over his lifetime, including the Thursday Night Couples League. The last league he bowled in was Wednesday night’s in New Berlin. He helped establish the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club, where he pitched horseshoes for several years.Bob liked to travel. He was fortunate enough to travel to England and take a tour to Wales; the airplane part of the trip was the most exciting to him. He was also able to see all but 11 states in his own country. He never turned down a chance to see a new place of interest.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005, at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, with the Rev. Robert Prentice, pastor of the Cicero Center Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery, German.Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford, from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.Memorial contributions can be sent to your favorite charity or church.

Donald Chadwell
RICHFIELD SPRINGS — Donald B. Chadwell, 72, of Lake Street, entered into eternal rest Friday morning, April 29, 2005, in Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica.He was born March 23, 1933, in Tulsa, Okla., son of the late Paul and Marion Post Chadwell. Don was raised in Tulsa and graduated from Tulsa Central High School with the class of 1951. He furthered his education, graduating from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in Texas.On Sept. 19, 1954, he was united in marriage with Edna M. Burnside in West Winfield. They had lived in Liberty and West Winfield before moving to Richfield Springs in 1969.For many years Mr. Chadwell worked as a delivery man for Baker Greenhouses in Utica, retiring in 1992.Donald was a family man, who spent most of his leisure time with his children as they grew up.He served as president of the Richfield Springs Little League and had coached American Legion and Babe Ruth League baseball as well as coaching with the Pop Warner League in Cherry Valley.As a husband and father, he had a strength that kept everyone together and could be relied on. He will be greatly missed by many especially his family.Surviving him are his loving wife of 50 years, Edna; four children, Eric and his wife, Diana, Chadwell of Richfield Springs, Jeff and his wife, Angela, Chadwell of Burlington Flats, Terri and her husband, Len, Klawoon of Punta Gorda, Fla., and James Chadwell and his companion, Jennifer Smith, of Rome; a sister, Helen Brown of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one grandson, D.J. Springer of Richfield Springs; and several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents, two sisters, Carole Chadwell and Beverly Pleasant, preceded him in death.A funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James St., Richfield Springs, with the Rev. John Young officiating. The family will be in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.Expressions of sympathy may be made with donations to the Richfield Springs Emergency Rescue Squad. Wilbert R. Andrews
COOPERSTOWN — Wilbert Richard Andrews, 73, died peacefully at home with family at his side April 29, 2005, after a lengthy illness with cancer.Wilbert was a Cooperstown area resident for all of his life, retiring from the former Meadows 11 years ago.He was known as a kind and gentle man and was well-liked by all.He loved traveling, reading, Westerns and his family.He was recently predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Katie Collins.He is survived by five daughters, Mary and Mathew Johnson of Milford, Sue Andrews and Anthony Effner of Westford, Patricia Andrews of Johnstown, Kimberly and Chuck Worden of Cherry Valley, and Donna and Adam Bloomingdale of Hartwick; three brothers and two sisters; and multiple grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Wilbert was surrounded by many angels from above that provided both he and Katie with great care, compassionate and unconditional love. Amy Brownell, our Hospice buddy started as our nurse and assumed the role that evolved into a sister, a daughter and most of all a friend to Wilbert, Katie and the family. You are in all of our hearts forever. The granddaughters Amanda, Sarah and Regina, who looked in on grandpa and brought smiles to his face daily. ONEONTA — Stanley A. "Harky" Harkenreader, 77, went home to be with our Lord on Friday, April 29, 2005. He was at the Delaware County Countryside Care Center in Delhi.He was born May 8, 1927, in Eynon, Pa., the son of Frank and Julia (Galko) Harkenreader.He married Ramona Currie in 1949. She predeceased him in February 1985.Harky was a well-known mechanic and stock-car enthusiast in the Oneonta area.He is survived by his eight children, Linda Bullock of Ohio, Mona and Alan Hughes of Oneonta, Sherry and Fred Haug of Idaho, Stanley "Butch" and Sophia Harkenreader of North Carolina, Darlene Shipman of Kentucky, Ron and Eileen Harkenreader of Pennsylvania, Mark and Sandy Harkenreader of Kentucky, and Patrick "Rick" and Lisa Harkenreader of Kentucky; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his nine brothers and sisters, Frank and Joyce Harkenreader of Laurens, Gerald and Verna Harkenreader of West Oneonta, Larry and Leona Harkenreader of Florida, William and Barbara Harkenreader of Oneonta, Barbara VanDusen of Utica, Ann Baird of Oneonta, Jean and Ed Bordinger of Oneonta, Ellen Montgomery of Oneonta, and Patricia and Michael Jarmaholitz of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and his "buddy" and special caretaker, Elena Osterhout.He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Edward Harkenreader, who died in the Korean War.Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to the funeral service time at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home in Oneonta, with the Rev. John Osterhout, pastor at the West Davenport Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery.Contributions may be made to the Catskill Area Hospice, 542 Main St., Oneonta, NY 13820.Arrangements are by the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.
