He also was a self-employed bulk milk hauler. He was a former member of the Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club and the Baldwinsville Moose Club. Survivors: His wife of 32 years, Mary; four daughters, Cynthia M. Maloney of Savannah, Susan J. Hawthorne and Shari L. Tousant, both of Baldwinsville, and Elaine A. Woolridge of Cato; three sons, Randy L. and Wayne B., both of Baldwinsville, and Brian C.J. of Phoenix; a stepdaughter, Brenda Dollinger of East Syracuse; two stepsons, Kenneth Dollinger of Syracuse and John Dollinger of Elbridge; two sisters, Eleanor Whitford of Memphis and Marian Martin of Cato; a brother, Lawrence of Baldwinsville; 27 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling hours, 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 10 Genesee St., Camillus.

Margaret L. DeCarr Podeswik, 61, of Hawley Avenue, Syracuse, died Saturday. Born in Watertown, she lived 43 years in Syracuse. Her husband, Stanley J., died in 1984. Survivors: Two daughters, Annlee Podeswik-St. Andrew and Rosalee Podeswik-Lis, both of Syracuse; three sons, Harold Major and Daniel DeCarr, both of Syracuse, and Stanley Podeswik of Central Square; two sisters, Carolyn Finch of Syracuse and Theresa Hill of Oneida; 12 grandchildren. She was a 28-year member of the Peekskill German-American Club and a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. Survivors: Her husband of 42 years, Joseph; a daughter, Kathleen M. Ryan of Marcellus; a son, Frank J. of Fremont, Wis.; three sisters, Marga Knauer, Imgard Girg and Anni Koerner, all of Germany; four brothers, Leo, Georg, Hans and Karl Schilling, all of Germany; five grandchildren. Thomas J. Rogers, 69, of Fayetteville died Friday. Born in Syracuse, he graduated in 1955 from the University of Notre Dame and received a master's degree from Syracuse University in 1974. He retired in 1996 as a sales representative with Hoffman-LaRoche after 36 years. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville, and a member of Cazenovia Golf Club. He was a mentor at Cathedral School, Syracuse. He was a Navy veteran. Survivors: His wife of 44 years, the former Lorraine Enright; three sons, Thomas P. and Michael, both of Liverpool, and Timothy of Rome; two brothers, William of Voorheesville and James of Mantua, Ohio; six grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Fayetteville. Donald A. Romer Sr

Donald A. Romer Sr., 58, of East Syracuse died Thursday. Born in Syracuse, he lived 30 years in East Syracuse. He graduated in 1962 from Central Technical High School. He retired this year as a tools and parts clerk at the Taft Road post office after 34 years. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America and the National Rifle Association. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. A son, Donald A. Jr., died in 1967. Survivors: His wife of 35 years, the former Sandra Paul; four daughters, Tina Cusson of West Monroe, Tamara Scott and Amanda Maslak, both of Syracuse, and Colette Laird of Sodus; a son, David of El Paso,  Texas; a sister, Claire Sterio of Parish; a brother, Kenneth Sr. of Cortland; 13 grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Delaney & Greabell Funeral Home. Burial, Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours, 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse. Rev. Austin D. Williams

The Rev. Austin D. Williams, OFM Conv., 77, of Syracuse, formerly of St. Bonaventure Friary, Don Mills, Ontario, died Thursday. Born in Syracuse, he also lived in Albany and Don Mills, before moving back to Syracuse three months ago. He was ordained in Albany in 1951 and served as a teacher, associate pastor, pastor and hospital and prison chaplain. Survivor: A sister, Dorothy Penney of Rockville, Md. He retired in 1972 as director of sales and rural marketing in New York state for Atlantic Richfield Co. He was a former parishioner of St. Bartholomew's Church in Old Forge, a former member of Thendara Golf Club in Old Forge, and a member of Knights of Columbus and the Boy Scout council in Oswego. His wife, Kathryn, died in 1996. A son, Dr. Michael C., died in 1981. Survivors: A son, Dr. Richard B. of Big Moose Lake and Liverpool; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
