Yackel, Barbara "Barb": MANNING, SC: 56, wife of Wayne L. Yackel, died Wednesday at her home in Manning after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. Born March 14, 1944, in Clifton Springs, NY, she was a daughter of the late Hobart and Dorothy Crouch Yackel. She was a retired contracts manager for AB Dick Itek in Rochester, NY, and was a member of Jordan United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Manning, SC; a daughter, Heather Grant of Manning and husband Timothy; 2 stepdaughters, Sheri Yackel of Wayland, NY and Lori Stokes of Italy; 2 sisters, Sandra Goble of Endicott, NY and Ethel Perkins of Caledonia, NY; 4 grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, 6/17 at the First Presbyterian Church in Caledonia, NY.
