Patricia was a graduate of Our Lady Of Mercy High School and Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She was a devoted mother and wife. Patricia was a volunteer for several local charities such as Genessee Hospital and local Seton branches. She was a generous contributor to numnerous local organizations such as School of the Holy Childhood, St. John Fisher College, Catholic Diocese of Rochester and the Pittsford Community Library. She was a member of Oak Hill Country Club, the Chatterbox Club and the Genesee Valley Club. Patricia enjoyed spending her time with family, cooking and travelling. Friends may call Sunday, 2-5 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:30 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 2617 East Avenue. ROCHESTER January 17, 2009 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Bertha Pappas, sisters Katina York and Bessie Ganas. She is survived by her brother Christos (Ruth) Pappas of Phoenix, AZ; nephew David Pappas of Palm Springs CA; niece, Susan (Craig) Hines ; great niece Kaitlin St. John and Great nephew James St. John of Hamburg, NY and many cousins.
Lee retired from Eastman Kodak after 30 years of service. She participated in various church and social organization. In 1937, she helped found the Rochester Chapter of the Daughters of Penelope and became a charter member.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11am in the Holy Spirit Greek Orthodox Church, 835 South Ave. Interment White Haven. Contributions may be made to the Church or to the Parkinsons Disease Society in her memory.

She loved books, especially Joyce, Mallory and Vonnegut. Jennifer graduated summa cum laude from Cornell Universitys English Honors Program. And she was awarded the distinguished Phi Beta Kappa Key. Jennifer loved music, especially her violin and her singing days in an acapella group. She was an artist and a poet. Jennifer loved all animals, but had a special fondness for cats. And, Jennifer loved people. She had a bright smile and loving way with everyone she met. Our world is truly darker without her. She leaves behind her parents, David and Sharon Mathiason, and her best friend, Kyle Zingler.

Segerson, Joan Elizabeth
ARLINGTON, VA. Suddenly on March 4, 2009, at the age of 58. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend who dedicated her life to her family and friends. Joan spent most of her adulthood between Boston and Washington, DC, working at Boston College, National Organization of Women, OAS and most recently the State Department. Joan was a proud Democrat who mentored many young people on their journey to adulthood and their careers. She opened her door to all who traveled to our nations capital. The world has lost one of its brightest stars. Joan is predeceased by her parents, James and Margaret Segerson, and her dear friend Lita DeLucia Clayton. Joan is survived by her siblings Jude Segerson (CA), Margaret (John)Hinkle (CO), Patricia (Doug Scarff) Segerson (MA), James (Denise) Segerson (MI), Mary (James) Coniglio, Kevin (Julie) Segerson, Nancy (Dennis) LeClerc (CT), Libby (Richard) Steblenko, and Virginia (Michael) Lenyk, and the lights of her life, her nieces and nephews Jenney Hinkle, Christy Cornelius, Sarah and Jamie Segerson, Tessa Fixter-Coniglio, Sam Coniglio, Benjamin, Thomas, James and, John Segerson, Lindsay and William LeClerc, Nicholas and Katherine Steblenko. She will also be missed by her good friends Mary Jane Kerrigan and Shelly Coss, her sweet cat Sadie, and many other friends and relatives.
