NORTH ROSE: Went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 20, 2000 at the age of 90. Survived by daughter, Miriam (Robert) Virts of North Rose; 2 sons, Don (Shirley) Shipley of Rose; Olan (Carol) Shipley of North Rose; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Warren in 1993 and infant son Gerald. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Rose Ambulance or to Glad Tidings Church.

Seitz, Ingram (John)
MACEDON/FLORIDA: Ingram ‘John” Seitz, passed away on November 16, 2000 at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida. He was 66 years old. John has married in 1956 to Norma Taylor Setiz, and they had two sons, Lyle of Port St. John, Florida and John of Gettisville, Florida. He also had two grandsons, Broghan and Jason. John was the son of the late Samuel and Beatrice Seitz of Buffalo, NY. Mr. Setiz served in the Navy, and was a member of the American Legion in Macedon, the Masonic Lodge of Palmyra, the Macedon Fire Department. He retired from Eastman Kodak, and was formerly a police officer in the Village of Brocton, NY. Donations in memory of John may be made to the Philip Steiger Post #494 American Legion, 76 Main Street, Macedon, NY 1502 or an organization of your choice.

VanDevelde, Emil N.
PALMYRA: Emil N. VanDevelde, died at age 80 on November 22, 2000. Friends are invited to call from 7-9 pm on Friday, December 1 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc. 123 West Main Street, Palmyra. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, December 2, 2000 at 1 pm at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Palmyra. Emil was a longtime resident of Palmyra and retired from Garlock Inc after 24 years of service. A veteran of WWII, Emil was a member of the James R. Hickey Post #120 of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6778. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rita and a sister Margaret Gorman, he is survived by his children Joan Wallace, of Hannibal, NY, Thomas (Kathy) and Phillip (Susan) both of Palmyra, Jean (David) Smith of Farmington and Judy (Jim Wood) Carkner of Rochester; Brothers Robert (Mac) and Phillip (Nina); sisters Barbara (Robert) Becker and Susan Burkhalter; sister-in-law Anne (James) Traphagen; brother-in-law Richard (Barbara) O’Brien; grandchildren James, Christopher, Ryan, Hollie and Bryan; great grandson Jamie and several nieces and nephews.

Weeks, Edwin R. Jr.
NORTH ROSE. Age 51, died on November 17, 2000. He is predeceased by 2 sisters, Joan Weeks and Peggy Weeks Spohn. He is survived by his parents, Edwin and Maudie Weeks of N. Rose; uncle, Harold L. Weeks of Big Pine Keys, FL, many cousins. Interment, Fort Hill Cemetery in Auburn.

Weeks, Edwin R. Sr.
NORTH ROSE: Age 82 of Ann Lee Dr. Died peacefully at home on Nov, 24, 2000. He is predeceased by 2 daughters. Joan Weeks and Peggy Weeks Spohn, and one son, Edwin R, Weeks, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maudie; brother, Harold Weeks of Big Pine Keys, FL. and Aurora , Fla. ; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Weeks was a graduate of Auburn High School and Cornell University with a degree in engineering, he was a Xerox retiree, he was a member of the Red Jacket Power Squadron and Rochester Power Squadron, and was a Squadron Commander Navigator, he was & member of several engineering societies and was chief Architect of Hope Village in Wolcott. in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Hope Village Inc., 6430 Hope Circle, Wolcott, NY 14590.

Adriaansen, Joan T.
MARION: Entered into rest on January 21, 2001. She is predeceased by her husband, Lester; a daughter, Nancy Rice; and a grandson, Timothy EverDyke. Survived by 3 daughters, Elaine Geldof of Marion, Carol (John) Baker of Marion, Doreen (Roger) VandeMortel of Newark; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Second Reformed Church and a charter member of the Marion Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Interment will be in Marion Cemetery . Memorials. may be made to the Timothy EverDyke Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Marion Central School or the Blossom View Nursing Home.

ONTARIO: Sun., January 21, 2001, age 80. Predeceased by husband, George. She leaves 3 children, Janyth (William) Kolodchak, Winchester, IND, Linda Bown, Sodus; Warren (Karleen) Bown, Prattsburg, NY; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Mary) Craft, Webster; sister-in-law, Marian Craft, Webster. Carey, Charles H.
PALMYRA: 51, died suddenly on Monday, January 22, 2001 at ViaHealth on Wayne-Newark Campus. Charles is survived by his wife, Ruth Weaver Carey; sons, Patrick (Gena O’Dell) Carey and James Carey; daughter Melody (Jason Durham) Carey; brother Bruce Carey; sisters Mary Alice Carey and Cindy Carey; very special granddaughter, Miranda Durham and several nieces & nephews.

DuPaul, John A.
SODUS POINT: Age 56 of North Fitzhugh St., died at his home on January 22, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; 4 children, Kenneth, Bruce, Tammy and Lisa, and 5 grandchildren.

Cooney, Ann T. (Transue)
WILLIAMSON: Entered into rest suddenly at her home on January 24, 2001 in her 71st year. A retiree from Key Bank, Williamson, member of the Twig of Newark Wayne Community Hospital, Williamson Senior Citizen, and Sodus Go-Getters. Survived by her loving family: sons, Daniel (Sharon) Cooney of Webster, Richard (Kim) Cooney of Webster; daughter, Wendy Cooney (Leo Blauvelt) of Williamson; grandchildren, Erica, Richard II, and Lisa Cooney; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Cooney in 1979. Interment, Lake View Cemetery, Pultneyville. Humphries, Joshua Sgt.
Fort Eustis, Va formerly of Newark - Sgt. Joshua Lee Humphries, 24 died suddenly Sunday, Jan.21, 2001. He graduated from Newark High School in 1994 where he was a member of the wrestling team. He had a love and respect for the outdoors & loved to hunt & fish. Joshua joined the United States Army after high school where he presently held the rank of Sergeant working in communications. Joshua is survived by his wife, Socorro "Coco"; son, Jaden Lee; daughter, Jolea Rhae all of Fort Eustis, Virginia; parents, Alvis & Barbara Humphries of Newark; loving sister, Jill of Old Forge, NY; maternal grandparents, Raymond & Phyllis Finn of Springwater, NY; father & mother-in-Law, Joe & Linda Caro; sisters-in-Law, Trinada & Myria; brother-in-law, Joey; niece, Kayla, all of Roy, Washington; fellow soldiers & family of the United States Army; many family members, special uncles, aunts & cousins; his best friend Ben Harder. Burial will be at East Newark Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In memory of Joshua, contributions may be made to the Newark Reds Wrestling Booster Club in memory of his love for the sport.

WALWORTH: Survived by her husband, Austin Keith; 2 daughters, Ann (Dean) Guest, Palmyra, NY, Kathy (John) Rynders, Springwater, NY; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Keith E. Moss. Also surviving are her brother, Wilson (Mildred) Dieffenderfer, Palmyra, NY; a sister, Ethel (Howard) Triou, Walworth. She was Past Matron of Walworth Athena Chapter O.E.S. and Past Treasurer for 20 years. Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 at the Stevens Funeral Home, 3896 Buffalo St., Marion, where a Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 2 PM. O.E.S. Services Tuesday at 7 o'clock. Memorials may be made to the Macedon Center United Methodist Church.

McKean, Evelyn H. (Hummel)
PALMYRA: Entered into rest on January 26,2001 in her 84th year. Survived by her loving family, son, Donald (Joyce) McKean, grandsons, Kurt (Ellen) McKean, Troy (Carolyn) McKean; great grandsons, Justin and Alex; great granddaughter, Maeghan, nieces, Carol (John) Rearson, Donna McKean and nephew, James (LuAnn) Smigelski. Predeceased by her husband, Walter B. McKean in 1969. A private graveside service will be held in Prattsville, NY in the Spring. Murphy, Louise M. (Vale)
ONTARIO/CANANDAIGUA: Saturday, January 20, 2001 at her home and the home of her son and daughter-in-Law. Louise, who would have been 100 year of age on February 1st, was predeceased by her husband, , Bernard L. Murphy on January 28, 1989. Louise was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-Law, Richard F. (Dick) and Shirley Murphy of Ontario, daughter and son-in-Law, Helen and Donald A. Kossuth of Tonawanda; three grandsons that she was extremely proud of, Patrick Murphy and his fiancee Maria of Chicago, Timothy S. Murphy of Ontario and James B. Murphy of Fairport; many nieces, nephews and her extended family of St. Mary's of the Lake Parish. Louise had been a school teacher, beginning in a one-room school in Canandaigua, and retiring in 1964 from the Wayne Central School System.Memorial contributions in memory of Louise should be directed to the Pines of Peace, PO Box 238, Ontario, NY 14519 or Masses may be offered in her remembrance.

Packard, Clara B.
MACEDON: Age 97, entered into rest January 26, 2001 at Wayne County Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband, Cyrus, son, Frank, daughter, Elizabeth Griffith, daughter-in-Law, Eleanor Packard. Survived by her son, Charles; daughters, Lynnette, (Gerald) Smith, Marian (Richard) Pieter; daughter-in-Law, Gloria Packard; son-in-law, Greene Griffith; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at PAYNE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1040 Rt. 31, Macedon. Tuesday at 2 PM a Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at Macedon Center United Methodist Church. Interment, Macedon Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to Macedon Center United Methodist Church School her memory.

Wells, Joyce Ann
WOLCOTT: Joyce Ann Wells, 69, of Draper St. Died at her home Saturday January 27, 2001. Born on March 23, 1931 in Wolcott, NY. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Curtis) Kelley. Survivors include her husband, William Wells, Wolcott; 3 sisters, Dora Jane Sears of Wolcott, Eleanor (Robert) Grasz of Alton, NY, Marilyn (Raymond) Burcroff of Wolcott; 1 sister in law, Pat (Don) Bierer of Wolcott; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Raymond Kelley. Spring burial at Rose Cemetery. The family suggest memorial donations be sent to the Hospice of Wayne County Newark, NY or WAVAC Ambulance Service in Wolcott, NY.

Texarkana, Texas/Clyde: Grace Anstee, 63, died Monday (Sept. 22, 2003) at her home in Texas with her family around her.

Died on October 3, 2003 at age 84. Predeceased by her husbands and grandson. She is survived by her son Patrick (Cindy) Mason; grandchildren Scott Mason, Sarah Mason, friends and family. Funeral services to be held at her family’s convenience. Interment Palmyra Cemetery. Donations may be made to GRHCA Hospice.

MARION: Entered into rest on September 30, 2003 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur H. Survived by her son, Arthur L. (Laura) Brown of Palmyra; a daughter, Jeanette Hubright of Marion; brothers, John Hotel of Fairville, Edward (Shirley) Hotel of Newark, Abraham (Helen) Hotel of Hoffmeister, NY; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Marion Ambulance.

Correll, Myrtle E.
NORTH ROSE: Age 86. Passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford; daughter, Doris Rasbeck; son, William; grandson, Christopher Younglove; and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by 3 children, June McRorie of FL, Izetta (Richard) Younglove, of Red Creek, NY, and Ray (Dolores) Correll of North Rose; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Dwight Rasbeck of Wolcott; sister-in-law, Estelle Crowder of Canada; several nieces and nephews. Interment, Huron Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Huron Presbyterian Church, or the Rose Fire Department Ambulance Fund.

LYONS: Age 66, on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003 at home. Surviving are wife, Annette; 4 children, Yvonne (Jack) Fitzpatrick, Marcel, Michelle (Timmy) McDonald, Sr., all of Lyons, Andre (Paula) of Newark; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Gracie Cardwell of AR. Burial will be in Baptist Rural Cemetery, Sodus. Contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 227, or to the Fairville Fire Department in his memory.

Morley, Karlyn M.
LYONS: Age 84, died Sunday, September 28, 2003 at ViaHealth of Wayne Hospital, Newark. Burial in South Lyons Cemetery. Karlyn was born in Lyons on November 3, 1918, a daughter to Charles R. and Esther Studer Schuldt. She is survived by her daughter, Helen M. Camp of Lyons; 3 grandchildren, Paul Camp, Jr. of Sodus, Mary Lou Camp of Seneca Falls, Beulah Stanley of Lyons; 3 great-grandchildren, Angelica Stanley, Micah T. Gallo, and Emory C.E. Reynolds; 2 sisters, Virginia Schuldt and Gladys Uhernick of Niagara Falls; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Roy in 1976, granddaughter, Sandra Lee Camp, brothers, Richard and Robert Schuldt.
