NORTH ROSE: Went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 20, 2000 at the age of 90. Survived by daughter, Miriam (Robert) Virts of North Rose; 2 sons, Don (Shirley) Shipley of Rose; Olan (Carol) Shipley of North Rose; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Warren in 1993 and infant son Gerald. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Rose Ambulance or to Glad Tidings Church.
Seitz, Ingram (John)
MACEDON/FLORIDA: Ingram ‘John” Seitz, passed away on November 16, 2000 at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida. He was 66 years old. John has married in 1956 to Norma Taylor Setiz, and they had two sons, Lyle of Port St. John, Florida and John of Gettisville, Florida. He also had two grandsons, Broghan and Jason. John was the son of the late Samuel and Beatrice Seitz of Buffalo, NY. Mr. Setiz served in the Navy, and was a member of the American Legion in Macedon, the Masonic Lodge of Palmyra, the Macedon Fire Department. He retired from Eastman Kodak, and was formerly a police officer in the Village of Brocton, NY. Donations in memory of John may be made to the Philip Steiger Post #494 American Legion, 76 Main Street, Macedon, NY 1502 or an organization of your choice.
VanDevelde, Emil N.
PALMYRA: Emil N. VanDevelde, died at age 80 on November 22, 2000. Friends are invited to call from 7-9 pm on Friday, December 1 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc. 123 West Main Street, Palmyra. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, December 2, 2000 at 1 pm at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Palmyra. Emil was a longtime resident of Palmyra and retired from Garlock Inc after 24 years of service. A veteran of WWII, Emil was a member of the James R. Hickey Post #120 of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6778. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rita and a sister Margaret Gorman, he is survived by his children Joan Wallace, of Hannibal, NY, Thomas (Kathy) and Phillip (Susan) both of Palmyra, Jean (David) Smith of Farmington and Judy (Jim Wood) Carkner of Rochester; Brothers Robert (Mac) and Phillip (Nina); sisters Barbara (Robert) Becker and Susan Burkhalter; sister-in-law Anne (James) Traphagen; brother-in-law Richard (Barbara) O’Brien; grandchildren James, Christopher, Ryan, Hollie and Bryan; great grandson Jamie and several nieces and nephews.

NORTH ROSE. Age 51, died on November 17, 2000. He is predeceased by 2 sisters, Joan Weeks and Peggy Weeks Spohn. He is survived by his parents, Edwin and Maudie Weeks of N. Rose; uncle, Harold L. Weeks of Big Pine Keys, FL, many cousins. Interment, Fort Hill Cemetery in Auburn.

Joan Weeks and Peggy Weeks Spohn, and one son, Edwin R, Weeks, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maudie; brother, Harold Weeks of Big Pine Keys, FL. and Aurora , Fla. ; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Weeks was a graduate of Auburn High School and Cornell University with a degree in engineering, he was a Xerox retiree, he was a member of the Red Jacket Power Squadron and Rochester Power Squadron, and was a Squadron Commander Navigator, he was & member of several engineering societies and was chief Architect of Hope Village in Wolcott. in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Hope Village Inc., 6430 Hope Circle, Wolcott, NY 14590.

Fort Eustis, Va formerly of Newark - Sgt. Joshua Lee Humphries, 24 died suddenly Sunday, Jan.21, 2001. He graduated from Newark High School in 1994 where he was a member of the wrestling team. He had a love and respect for the outdoors & loved to hunt & fish. Joshua joined the United States Army after high school where he presently held the rank of Sergeant working in communications. Joshua is survived by his wife, Socorro "Coco"; son, Jaden Lee; daughter, Jolea Rhae all of Fort Eustis, Virginia; parents, Alvis & Barbara Humphries of Newark; loving sister, Jill of Old Forge, NY; maternal grandparents, Raymond & Phyllis Finn of Springwater, NY; father & mother-in-Law, Joe & Linda Caro; sisters-in-Law, Trinada & Myria; brother-in-law, Joey; niece, Kayla, all of Roy, Washington; fellow soldiers & family of the United States Army; many family members, special uncles, aunts & cousins; his best friend Ben Harder. She was Past Matron of Walworth Athena Chapter O.E.S. and Past Treasurer for 20 years. ONTARIO/CANANDAIGUA: Saturday, January 20, 2001 at her home and the home of her son and daughter-in-Law. Louise, who would have been 100 year of age on February 1st, was predeceased by her husband, , Bernard L. Murphy on January 28, 1989. Louise was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-Law, Richard F. (Dick) and Shirley Murphy of Ontario, daughter and son-in-Law, Helen and Donald A. Kossuth of Tonawanda; three grandsons that she was extremely proud of, Patrick Murphy and his fiancee Maria of Chicago, Timothy S. Murphy of Ontario and James B. Murphy of Fairport; many nieces, nephews and her extended family of St. Mary's of the Lake Parish. Louise had been a school teacher, beginning in a one-room school in Canandaigua, and retiring in 1964 from the Wayne Central School System.Memorial contributions in memory of Louise should be directed to the Pines of Peace, PO Box 238, Ontario, NY 14519 or Masses may be offered in her remembrance.

Camp of Lyons; 3 grandchildren, Paul Camp, Jr. of Sodus, Mary Lou Camp of Seneca Falls, Beulah Stanley of Lyons; 3 great-grandchildren, Angelica Stanley, Micah T. Gallo, and Emory C.E. Reynolds; 2 sisters, Virginia Schuldt and Gladys Uhernick of Niagara Falls; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Roy in 1976, granddaughter, Sandra Lee Camp, brothers, Richard and Robert Schuldt.
