John J. McKenna, of Sound Beach, died Feb. 22. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne; loving father of Nancy Castaneda and the late Jane Zerrenner; and cherished grandfather of Alison Castaneda. John is predeceased by his siblings, Margaret O’Connor, Michael McKenna, Thomas McKenna and James McKenna.
A graveside service was held Feb. 26 at Calverton National Cemetery.

Nicholas DeMonte
Died: Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Nicholas DeMonte, age 78, of Port Jefferson Station, died on Feb. 20. He was born
Jan. 7, 1935, in New York City.
He was the beloved husband of Theresa DeMonte; loving father of Denise Tivers (Jim), Jeffrey DeMonte, Paul DeMonte (Audra), and Jennifer Colon (Angel); cherished grandfather of Devin, Rebecca, Mikaila, Justin and Andrew.
In celebration of his life, a memorial Mass was held Feb. 23 at St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church in Port Jefferson Station. Cremation was private.

Marie Iberger
Died: Tuesday, February 19, 2013
Marie A. Iberger, lifelong resident of Port Jefferson Station, passed away peacefully on Feb. 19 in her 88th year. She was born
Jan. 18, 1926, in Smithtown.
She was the devoted wife of the late Howard J.; beloved mother of Howard J., Carol Powell and Carl; dear grandmother of James, Eric, Reagan, Lauren, Jamie, Timothy, Tyler and Molly; dear great-grandmother of 16.
A funeral service was held Feb. 23. Interment was at Washington Memorial Park, Coram.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Good Shepherd Hospice would be appreciated.

Josephine Jolly

Josephine M. Jolly, age 88 of Smithtown, died on Feb. 19.
She was the beloved wife of the late Louis; cherished mother of Bruce (Claudia) Jolly and Steven (Karen) Jolly; loving grandmother of Michael and Kevin; devoted sister of Rose Dern.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Smithtown.
Interment followed at Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Flushing.

William Walker
Died: Monday, February 18, 2013
William G. Walker of Ridge, died on Feb. 18. He was the beloved husband of Florence; loving father of Barbara DeTurk and her husband William and the late Stephen Walker; cherished grandfather of Alexander DeTurk. William is survived by his brother, Horace Walker, his sister, Lou Ann Sanders and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, Feb. 21, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the funeral home, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place. Service, Thursday evening. Funeral, Friday 10:30 am. Cremation, Washington Memorial Park.

Dennis Gaiewski, age 69, of Smithtown, died on Feb. 18. He was the beloved husband of Maria; loving father of Jennifer (Harald) Parzer and David (Michelle) Gaiewski; cherished grandfather of Timothy, Kyra, Michael and Daniel.

Hugh Walker
Died: Saturday, February 16, 2013
Hugh Walker, age 80, died on Feb. 16. He was born
in Hamilton, Scotland, in 1932, and resided in Smithtown for the last 45 years.
They Shall Not Be Forgotten. He was a proud veteran of service in the United States Army.
He served as a firefighter for Company 3 of the Smithtown Fire Department, and more recently for the Fire Police.
Mr. Walker was the devoted husband of Brunhilda; loving father of Carol Duprez, Linda Abraham, Hugh Walker and Sandra Bamonte; and adored grandfather of nine.
He is survived by many other family members and friends.
A religious service was celebrated at the funeral home.
Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.

Agnes Tarling, of Mount Sinai, formerly of Nesconset, died on May 22. She was the cherished wife of David; loving mother of Lynn, David (Aleta), Susan (Thomas) Capasso and Lisa (Mark) Brady; beloved grandma of seven; and great-grandma of two. A funeral service was held May 25 at the funeral home. Interment followed at Memorial Cemetery of St. John’s Church.

Colina W. Donnelly
Died: Tuesday, May 21, 2013
Age: 102
Colina W. Donnelly, age 102, of Wading River, died May 21. Born April 4, 1911, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Wedderburn and the late Mary Gardner.
Colina was a homemaker. She is survived by her loving son, Douglas Donnelly of Wading River; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Colina was predeceased by her sons, John Donnelly and Tom Donnelly.
Burial was at Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, on May 23.

Thomas William Wilde
Died: Monday, May 20, 2013
Thomas William Wilde, 78, of Rocky Point, died Monday, May 20. Born July 17, 1934, in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Millicent (Walker) Wilde. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. He was employed by Fuller Brush, New York, in sales.
Thomas is survived by his beloved companion, Lillian Kenny; his loving daughter, Eileen Trace of High Point, N.C.; devoted sons, Thomas Wilde of Bay Shore and Martin Wilde of Lake Ronkonkoma; loving sisters, Millicent Faletta of East Northport and Rosemarie Cox of Shub Oak; and eight grandchildren, Thomas Wilde, Cassandra Wilde, Amanda Trace, Patrick Trace, Jacquelyn Wilde, Michael Gozlan, Richard Batcher and Charles Batcher. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Wilde; and daughter, Mary Batcher.
Calling hours will be today, Thursday, May 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Friday, May 24, at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, with the Rev. Richard P. Hoerning officiating. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, at 10:45 am.

Audrey was past owner and CEO of Decal Makers, Inc., Bellmore; and an active thoroughbred horse owner; winner of The Mother Goose Race 1996 with her horse, Yanks Music.
Audrey was the devoted wife of the late Patrick Hastings and the late Leonard Cooper; beloved mother of Leslie Bensi (David Nielsen) and Linda Hennessy (Matthew); loving grandmother of Lisa, Amanda, Brett, Erin, Matthew, Evan and Sarah; fond great-grandmother of Connor, Nicholas and Landon.
A prayer service was held Friday, May 24, followed by interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
