William Rybicki
BALLSTON SPA - William F. Rybicki, 55, of Goode Street, died Friday at Saratoga Hospital.
Mr. Rybicki was born in Niskayuna and lived in Ballston Spa for most of his life.
He was an instrument technician for Lockheed Martin in West Milton for 27 years until retiring in April.
Mr. Rybicki was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the F Troop Hunting Club for 35 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Scanlon of Vernon, Conn., and Joanna Rybicki of Utica; a brother, Ronald Rybicki of Ballston Spa; and two sisters, Sandra Ariel of Burnt Hills and Maryann Knowlton of Schenectady.
A service is set for 10 a.m. Monday at the Armer Funeral Home, 39 E. High St.
Burial with full military honors will be in Saratoga National Cemetery in the town of Saratoga.
Calling hours will be 3 to 5 this afternoon at the funeral home.

Gordon F. Spencer, served 20 years in the Air Force
PATTERSONVILLE - Gordon F. Spencer, who served for 20 years in the Air Force, died at home Saturday. Mr. Spencer, of Rynex Corners Road, was 69.
Born in North Bush, Mr. Spencer was a lifelong area resident and a 1951 graduate of Johnstown High School.
While in the Air Force, Mr. Spencer worked with medics in hospitals in this country, England and Turkey. He retired as a sergeant.
After retiring, he was employed by the MCA Record Co. in Gloversville for 10 years.
Mr. Spencer was a member of the North Bush Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Freer Spencer, whom he married Oct. 29, 1988; two sons, Martin Spencer of Summit and Peter Spencer of Eugene, Ore.; five daughters, Sharon Fenstermacher of Johnstown, Jeanette Spencer of Gloversville, Linda Vanillin of Florida, Wendy Parker of Texas and Zoya Spencer of Seattle, Wash.; two stepsons, Edward Freer of Pattersonville and Ken Freer of Rotterdam; a sister, Elizabeth Pagano of Johnstown; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam.
Burial will be in Woestina Cemetery in the spring.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Contributions in Mr. Spencer's memory may be made to the Salvation Army or to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.

Pasquale Andriano, veteran, served during Berlin airlift
CHARLTON - Pasquale "Pat" Andriano, who served in the Army from 1948 to 1951 during the Berlin airlift, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Mr. Andriano, of Jockey Street, was 72.
Mr. Andriano was born in Schenectady and graduated from the former Nott Terrace High School.
He began his career as a meat manager for Central Markets in the Schenectady area.
Mr. Andriano worked for Slim's Market in Glenville and retired from the Price Chopper Stores in 1991 after more than 30 years of service.
He lived in Glenville for 15 years before moving to Charlton in 1968.
Mr. Andriano was a member of the Glenville Fish and Game Club and a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Eileen Wilford Andriano; a son, Mark T. Andriano of Saratoga Springs; two brothers, Thomas Andriano and Michael Andriano, both of Schenectady; and two sisters, Connie Dawsey of Glenville and Frances "Fritzie" Martinez of Schenectady.
Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, East Glenville, and at 10 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Road, East Glenville, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity.

Jack M. Herd, accountant, veteran of World War II
ALBANY - Jack M. Herd, who was an Army veteran of World War II, died Friday at his son's home in Atlanta, Ga. Mr. Herd, of Ormond Street, was 89.
Mr. Herd was born in Springfield, Mass., and lived in Albany most of his life.
Mr. Herd was a public accountant in Albany for many years until retiring three years ago.
Mr. Herd was a member of Temple Israel and Masons' Lodge 85 in Albany.
His wife, Yetta Peller Herd, died in July 1999. Survivors include three sons, Paul Herd of Atlanta, Richard Herd of Charlotte, N.C., and Joseph Herd of Delmar; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 this afternoon at Temple Israel, 600 New Scotland Ave. Burial will be in Temple Israel Cemetery, Guilderland.
A period of mourning will be observed at the home of Joseph and Abbey Herd, 123 Darroch Road, Delmar.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Yetta and Jack Herd Hebrew Education Fund, in care of Temple Israel.
Arrangements are by the Levine Memorial Chapel.

`Scooter John' Villano
SCHENECTADY - John "Scooter John" Villano, 77, of Avenue B, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Villano was born and educated in Schenectady.
He was employed in the main- tenance department of the former American Locomotive Co. for 24 years.
Later, Mr. Villano was a maintenance worker for 25 years at the main plant and the Research and Development Center of the General Electric Co.
He was a communicant and longtime Festa worker at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church and a member of the GE Quarter Century Club.
Survivors include two sisters, Beatrice Canosa of North Haven, Conn., and Rose A. Miller of Schenectady.
Services will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the N. Rossi & Sons Funeral Home, Union and North Jay streets, and at 9 at St. Anthony's Church, Nott Street and Seward Place, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Amelia Canale Percassi
AMSTERDAM - Mrs. Amelia Canale Percassi, who was a glove maker for various local companies before retiring, died Sunday at the Regent Care Center in The Woodlands, Texas. Mrs. Percassi, formerly of the Roosevelt Apartments on Wall Street, was 89.
Born in Amsterdam, Mrs. Percassi was educated locally and lived in the area until moving to Texas in August.
Mrs. Percassi was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church.
Her first husband, Peter V. Canale, died in 1960.
Later, she married James "Jack" Percassi, who died in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Bonney of The Woodlands; two brothers, Richard Altieri of Sun City, Fla., and Herman Altieri of Amsterdam; two sisters, Alice Chiricko of Amsterdam and Josephine Sievert of Delmar; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, and at 11 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Angelina D. Boss
COBLESKILL - Mrs. Angelina D. Boss, 84, formerly of North Street, died Saturday at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Mrs. Boss was born in Cobleskill. She was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School.
She was a member of the Serge, Schoharie County Emergency CB Club.
Mrs. Boss was a communicant of St. Vincent De Paul Church.
Her husband, Anthony C. Boss, whom she married Dec. 15, 1938, died March 28, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Sue Radliff of Richmondville; a son, Michael J. Boss of Cleveland, Ohio; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent De Paul Church, Washington Heights.
Burial will be private in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
A calling hour will precede the service at the church.

Anne C. O'Donnell
HUDSON FALLS - Mrs. Anne C. O'Donnell, 89, of Mulberry Street, died Saturday at Glens Falls Hospital.
Mrs. O'Donnell was born in Comstock. She was a 1930 graduate of St. Mary's Academy in Glens Falls and a 1933 graduate of the nursing program at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.
While in high school and a resident of Fort Ann, Mrs. O'Donnell was a reporter for the Glens Falls Times.
She was employed as a registered nurse in the surgical unit at St. Peter's Hospital and also worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam and in local nursing homes.
At one time, Mrs. O'Donnell worked as a registered nurse in New York City.
After retiring, she was a receptionist at Patricia's Beauty Salon in Hudson Falls for several years.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's/St. Paul's Catholic Church and a member of the Court Mater Dei 1442 Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Mrs. O'Donnell also was a former president of the St. Camelus Guild, a Catholic nurses' group.
She married James O'Donnell in 1936. He died in 1972.
Survivors include a son, Thomas O'Donnell of Hudson Falls; four daughters, Patricia Bowyer and Kathleen O'Donnell, both of Hudson Falls, Mary Enhorning of Queensbury and Katherine Frederick of Clifton Park; and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's/St. Paul's Church.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward.
A gathering will follow at McManus Hall.
Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Carleton Funeral Home, 68 Main St.
