Robin Lee
SCHENECTADY - Ms. Robin Lynn Lee, 38, of Jerry Street, died Friday at her home after being stricken.
Ms. Lee was born in Niskayuna. She was a lifelong area resident and attended Ballston Spa schools.

She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

Survivors include a son, Mark Lee of Schenectady; two daughters, Sara Beth Lee of Saratoga Springs and Jessica M. Lee of Schenectady; her mother, Fay Kvinlaug of Schenectady; three brothers, Robert Viele of Palatine Bridge, Brian Viele of Duanesburg and Raymond Kvinlaug of Troy; and two sisters, Cheryl Lyons of Red Creek and Patricia Jean Munger of Gansevoort.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Light's Funeral Home, 1428 State St.

Burial will be in Vale Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Winifred K. Sumigray
AMSTERDAM - Mrs. Winifred K. Sumigray, who worked for the former Mohasco Industries for almost 50 years, died Sunday at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Sumigray, of Skyline Drive, formerly of Church Street, was 94.
Born in Amsterdam, Mrs. Sumigray was educated locally and lived here all her life.

Later, Mrs. Sumigray was employed by the Ward Products Co. before retiring.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and its Rosary Society.

She also was a member of the Mohasco Quarter Century Club.

Her husband, John "Butch" Sumigray, whom she married May 12, 1934, died June 15, 1983.

Survivors include a daughter, Theresa "Terry" DiCaprio of Amsterdam; two sisters, Frances Konieczny and Gertrude Wojtkiewicz, both of Amsterdam; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Church.

Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Sumigray may be made to the St. Stanislaus School Foundation, 73 Reid St., Amsterdam 12010.

Arrangements are by the Jendrzejczak Funeral Home, 200 Church St.

Michael F. Brady
BROADALBIN - Michael F. Brady, 80, of Saratoga Avenue, died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam.
Mr. Brady was born in Sleavinor, County Clare, Ireland, and was educated there. He came to this country as a young man and settled in Brooklyn.

Mr. Brady moved to Broadalbin 18 years ago.

He was employed as a stationary engineer with the New York City Transit Authority, retiring in 1983.

He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen McGrath Brady, whom he married Dec. 2, 1950; five daughters, Mary Doviak of Perth, Elaine Shelah of LaGrange, Ruth Micari of White Plains, Margaret Brady of Las Vegas, Nev., and Kathleen Brady-Hall of Westminster, Colo.; two sisters, Mary White and Kathleen Gormley, both of County Galway, Ireland; and several grandchildren.

Services will be private.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Johnson.

Calling hours will be 5 to 8 tonight at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, 38 W. Main St.

Contributions in memory of Mr. Brady may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice in care of the funeral home.

Rosemary Montenaro Fajkowski
AMSTERDAM - Mrs. Rosemary Montenaro Fajkowski, 85, of the High Rise Apartments, died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Schenectady, Mrs. Fajkowski was educated there and moved to Amsterdam in 1960.

She was a homemaker.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and a member and officer of both the Hi-Rise Seniors and the St. Casimir's Seniors.

Mrs. Fajkowski also was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Her husband, Stanley Fajkowski, whom she married July 27, 1947, died in 1992.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia R. Tenace of Schenectady, and Cheryl Eagle and Gerri Zepperi, both of Amsterdam; a brother, Robert Montenaro of Tribes Hill; eight grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Thursday at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., and at 9:15 at St. Mary's Church, East Main Street, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Johnson.

Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary will meet at 6:30.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Fajkowski may be made to the National Shrine of North American Martyrs, Auriesville, in care of the funeral home.

Edward H. Beaudoin
Rexford -- Edward H. Beaudoin, 71, of Rexford died peacefully in Saratoga Hospital on Thursday following a long illness.
Born in Colonie, New York on January 1, 1931, he moved to Burnt Hills. He was a graduate of BH–BL Schools and Purdue University with a mechanical engineering degree.

Mr. Beaudoin served two years in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Beaudoin was the son of the late John L. Beaudoin and Catherine Boice Beaudoin. He married the former Claire S. Giroux on December 29, 1957.

Edward lived a majority of his life in Rexford, where he was a gifted entrepreneur. Among his business interests were land developing, sewer and water design, and utilities construction. He was instrumental along with builder/developer Robert VanPatten in many area communities. Ed was president/owner for many years of Rexford Plumbing and Heating, Rexford Supply and

B & B Oil Company.

Mr. Beaudoin was a captain with the Rexford Fire Company, active with the Kiwanis organization, and a supporter of the Republican Party. As a nature enthusiast and active outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and nature conservation. Ed was once a member of the Edison Country Club in Rexford. He attended the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville.

Survivors include his wife, Claire S. Beaudoin; two sons, Edward H. Beaudoin, Jr. of Clifton Park and Raymond J. Beaudoin of Halfmoon; three daughters, Carolyn L. Greenland of Coopersburg, PA, Donna M. Schensul of Altamont, and Catherine A. Beaudoin of Rexford; nine cherished grandchildren, Michael Bullock, Daniel and Robert Beaudoin; Lillian, Sarah, Madelyn and Grace Beaudoin; Kristin Beaudoin and Ian Greenland; a brother, Jack Beaudoin of Clifton Park, and three sisters, Mary Mooney of Corvallis, OR, Jean Belton of Rexford and Catherine Frank of Clifton Park. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Beaudoin was predeceased by his brother, George Beaudoin.

Calling hours will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and this morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral service this morning at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd., East Glenville.

Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford, NY.

Rose Klein Brogan
Clifton Park -- Rose Klein Brogan, 100, formerly of Peter Road and 10th Avenue, died Thursday, January 31, 2002 at Schuyler Ridge Residential Health Care Center in Clifton Park, after a brief illness.
Born on November 17, 1909 in Syracuse, Mrs. Brogan resided locally for most of her life and was educated in Schenectady.

Mrs. Brogan was a homemaker, a seamstress and at one time worked for the Costumer. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Brogan was a former communicant of St. Thomas Church.

She was predeceased in 1974, by her husband Michael T. Brogan.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley B. Viele of Rotterdam; two grandchildren, Maureen Viele of Ithaca, NY and Robin Tompkins and her husband Timothy of Cogan Station, PA.

A Funeral Service will be held 9 a.m. Monday, February 4, at St. Paul the Apostle Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. There will be no calling hours.

Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are by the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.

Teri Jane Brumbaugh
Colonie -- Teri Jane Brumbaugh, 40, of Colonie, was stricken and passed away suddenly on January 30, 2002.
Terri was born in Roaring Springs, PA and was a Capital District resident since 1967. She graduated from Burnt Hills/Ballston Lake High School, Class of 1979. She worked for over 20 years for the State Office for the Aging in Albany as a keyboard specialist.

Teri was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Schenectady and was an integral part of the Chancel Choir and Bell Choirs at the church.

She is survived by her parents, Fred D. and Carol Hall Brumbaugh of Clifton Park; two sisters, Pam Brumbaugh of Scotia and Jill Coughlin of Cohoes; one brother, Mark Brumbaugh of Clifton Park; one niece and two nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Teri's life on Sunday at 2 o'clock at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Adrianne Rush officiating. A reception will follow the service in Fellowship Hall.

The family requests memorial donations in Teri's memory to the First United Methodist Church, 603 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305.

Entombment will be in the First United Methodist Church's Columbarium.

Robert L. Cron
Schenectady -- Robert L. Cron, 68, of McClellan Street, passed away Friday, February 1, 2002 at Ellis Hospital.
Born in Rochester, Pennsylvania on December 15, 1938, he moved to Schenectady in 1964. A graduate of Anderson High School in Anderson, IN, he was the son of the late Albert F. Cron and Ellen M. Parsons Cron.

Bob was an Air Force veteran, serving with the Canine “Police” Corps in Turkey in the early 1960's. He was a machine operator employed by Lortex Corp. in Guilderland Center for several years. He married the former Evelyn Knight on May 17, 1964. He enjoyed spending moments with family and surrounded by friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, rode motorcycles, enjoyed auto racing and travel. His hobby was woodworking and crafting.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Robert is survived by his wife, Evelyn A. Cron of Schenectady; a son, John R. Cron of Anderson, IN; and a daughter, Amanda E. Cron of Schenectady. He is the stepson of Lillian Cron of Silver Lake, IN. He is also survived by two sisters, Judy A. Poor of Anderson, IN and Matilda L. Sexton of Silver Lake, IN.

Bob was predeceased by his brother, Albert F. Cron, Jr.

Services will be conducted Monday afternoon, 3 p.m. in the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, East Glenville. Calling hours will be Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Spring interment will be at Pittsfield Cemetery in VT.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Ellis Hospital Foundation, 1101 Nott St., Schenectady, NY 12308.

Stephen F. Danaher
Lansingburgh -- Stephen F. “Droops” Danaher, 44, of Second Ave., died Thursday, January 31, at his residence.
Services will be held on Monday at 12 noon at John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., (corner of 115th St. and Fourth Ave.), Lansingburgh. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10 to 12 noon.

Interment will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Troy.

Helen M. Donahue
Mechanicville -- Helen M. Donahue, 90, formerly of Greenwood Avenue, Mechanicville, passed away Friday, February 1, 2002, at Maple Wood Manor, Ballston Spa, after a long illness.
Mrs. Donahue was born November 24, 1911 in Mechanicville. She was the last of twelve brothers and sisters. Mrs. Donahue enjoyed the company of her sisters, particularly Laura and Irene, with whom she shared many happy times.

She was a homemaker, mother and a skilled seamstress who worked many years at the Korell Dress Company in Mechanicville. Mrs. Donahue loved to travel and cook for family and friends. Her pies were always a hit in her large family circle.

She was a communicant of Assumption St. Paul's Church, Mechanicville and was active in many church activities.

Mrs. Donahue was the wife of the late Joseph Donahue, to whom she was married 34 years. He passed away in 1972.

She was the loving mother of William Donahue of New York City and Robert J. Donahue of Rensselaer and Port St. Lucie, FL. and grandmother of Michael Bennett Donahue of New York City.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Assumption St. Paul's Church, William Street, Mechanicville, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home, 319 Park Ave., Mechanicville, on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Mechanicville.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Donahue's name may be made to the Endowment Fund of Assumption St. Paul's Church, 52 William Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118.
