BOGGIO, LEONE G., of West Harrison, died March 14, 2008 at age 73. Born in Caravate, Varese. Italy on July 21, 1924 to Bruno & Teresa Boggio. “Leo” was a US Postal Worker with a route in White Plains. He became a Supervisor of Mail Carriers. “Leo” was an avid soccer fan who often refereed local games and played on local teams. He is survived by his beloved wife “Lisa” Boggio and cherished daughters, Christa “Goog” Boggio and Caterina “Cathy” LaRusso (husband David). BRUNO, CORNELIA, a Larchmont resident, died December 25, 2008. Born in New York City to Frederick and Lena Mortati. Cornelia was a graduate of Marymount College in Tarrytown and later received her Graduate Degree from NYU. She worked as a Teacher in the Gifted & Talented Program at Trinity Elementary School in New Rochelle. Cornelia is the beloved wife of Frederick Bruno. In addition, she is survived by her children, Frederick R. Bruno (wife Karen), Christina L. Bruno and Julia A. Bruno, brother, Dr. Frederick S. CALANDRUCCIO,MILLY A., a lifelong Harrison resident, died February 29, 2008. Born September 3, 1916 to Enrico & Mary Cipolla, she was one of seven children. She graduated from Harrison High School and was always proud to tell people she worked until she was 84 years old. After many years in sales, Milly spent the last several years, prior to retirement, as the cafeteria cashier for Louis M. Klein Middle School. She loved seeing the kids everyday. married 54 years to her beloved husband, Frank Calandruccio, who died on February 14, 1995. Milly is survived by her devoted children, daughter, Ann Colangelo and son-in-law, Bill, and son, Frank Jr. and daughter-in-law, Sandra. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Bill Jr., Steven and Scott Colangelo, Jennifer Calandruccio Gelice, Lori, Marc and Brian Calandruccio and nine great-grandchildren, Derek, Justine, Billy, Michael, Tyler, Zachary, Christopher and Madison Colangelo, Ryan Felice and Baby Calandruccio on the way. She is survived by her brothers, Frank and Michael Cipolla, sisters-in-law, Sue, Grace and Gloria Cipolla and brother-in-law, Pat Angarano. Predeceased by her siblings, John, Henry, Rose & Eleanor. CAMPBELL, RITA A., of Largo, FL, passed away July 26, 2008 at age 85. Born June 16, 1923 in Brooklyn to Henry and Margaret (Hamilton) Loehr. Rita worked as a telephone operator for both NY Telephone and Verizon. Rita is survived by her cherished children Ronald, Robert and Paul Newman, adoring grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 2. CEGLIO, THOMAS, a New Rochelle resident, died February 8, 2008 at age 89. Born September 9, 1918 to Michael & Emilia Ceglio. He worked as a foreman for a private sanitation company. Thomas recently celebrated his 70th wedding anniversary to his wife, Carmella. The couple was married on November 6, 1937. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children, Michael Ceglio & Stephanie Gisin, 4 children and 6 great grandchildren. DEGINA, JAMES J. a lifelong Mamaroneck resident on April 23, 2008. James was a decorated Navy Veteran of D Day where he served on the LST 332. He also participated in the African and Sicilian Campaign and was a member of American Legion Post 90. James was a design engineer for the aeronautics industry. After retirement he served as a caring and dedicated crossing guard for the Rye Neck School. Beloved husband of Eva, devoted father of James J. DiBUONO, PETER J. “THE ROCK”, a Harrison resident, died March 30. 2008, at age 83. Born October 6, 1924 to Peter J. & Matilda DiBuono. He served during WWII D-Day+1 in Normandy with the 92nd Chemical Motar Battalion. Peter worked as a Custodian for 32 years in the Rye Neck Public Schools. He was a member of the Harrison American Legion as well as the VFW Post 3047 and the Disabled American Veterans Association. An avid golfer and gardner, he also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. Peter is the beloved husband of the late Josephine (Aloisi). The devoted father of Roxanne Doherty and the late Cynthia DeRosa, and father-in-law of Tom DeRosa. Loving grandfather of Melanie, Megan and Mathew DeRosa and Jessica, Patrick and Peter Doherty. Dear brother of Albert DiBuono and Rae Vaccaro and the late, Frank, Louis, Tony “Puggy”, Joseph “Jake”, Michael “Mickey”, Richard DiBuono and Mary Ricozzi. DiLALLO,LOUIS, larger than life, known and loved by all, died on January 4, 2009 at age 68. Born in New Rochelle on January 30, 1940 to Dominick and Rose (Planamento) DiLallo. A contractor by trade, he was the co- founder of a construction company for over 40 years. Lou was a man with a giant heart. He touched many lives and helped countless people by providing jobs and being a good and dependable friend. Lou was also an avid golfer. Beloved husband of Sue (Grandi) devoted father of Dominick DiLallo(wife Angela) and Debbie Marchione (husband Vinnie). Loving son of Rose, Cherished brother of Orlando, Nicky, Vito, Joyce Preston and the late Dominick. The loving grandfather of Desiree, Alexander, Louis and Vincent. ERIKSON, GEORGE, a Mamaroneck resident, passed away January 12,2008 at age 92. Born December 23, 1915 to Carl & Agnes Erikson. A veteran of the Army, he served during WWII in the 9th Infantry from 1941-1945. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was the recipient of the Bronze Star. He went on to receive his BA from St. John’s University. George was an Airline Executive who served as the Treasurer of SIS, and was also the Vice President of Finance for Iceland Air. He is remembered as an avid Yankee fan as well as a world traveler. On December 8, 1946, he married his beloved wife Sigrid. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his cherished children, Douglas Erikson, Robert Erikson (wife Wendy) and Elise Orfei and loving grandson William Orfei. FAGA, VITO a longtime Harrison resident, died February 8, 2008 at age 92. Born May 10, 1915 in St. Vito, Ionio, Italy to Raffele & Maria Faga. Vito worked as a barber and also as a carpenter with the Local 11 Empire State Carpenters Union. Vito was a faithful member of the Giovanni Caboto Club in Harrison. Beloved husband of the late Frances Faga, who passed away in 2000. Vito is survived by his devoted children, Ralph (Lisa) Faga, Vito “Chibba” (Linda) Faga and Antoinette “Toni” Faga and siblings, Domenico, Giusepep, Antonio & Lena. FERRARI, FRANK EDWARD, a 48 year resident of Larchmont, died January 7, 2008 at age 80. At the time of his death he was President of Pro Venture Inc., an international advisory group with a major focus on Africa. For 30 years he was Vice President of the African-American Institute. His constant and forthright involvement with human rights kept him at the forefront of change in Africa’s quest for political and economic justice. He had an especially close relationship with South Africa. He and his wife of 53 years Mary Selby-Ferrari resided in South Africa 1992-1994. He was considered the most distinguished authority on South Africa according to Anthony Sampson in his biography “Mandela.” Frank was born November 18, 1927 to Emma and Frank Ferrari in Jersey City, NJ. survived by his wife Mary, children Paul (wife Lynn Schneider) Maryann Ferrari, John (wife Jodi) Ferrari, and James Ferrari; grandchildren Christina, Elisabeth and Michael Ferrari and Emma and Molly Schneider-Ferrari. He graduated from New York University and was a man of deep religious faith and values. He was a parishioner of Sts. John & Paul R.C. Church. Visitation on Friday 2 -4 & 7 – 9 at the funeral home. FRAIOLI, ANTHON JOSEPH, of Mamaroneck, died November 19, 2008 at age 74. Born December 6, 1933 to Pietro & Columba Fraioli. He worked in construction as a machine operator and is remembered as an avid fan of the NY Giants. Anthony is the beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth (Chiarappa). In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving children, David Michael Fraioli (wife Donna) and Kim Dellava (husband Artie), cherished grandchildren, Jocilyn Elizabeth, David Anthony and Michael Andrew, and dear siblings, Joseph J. Fraioli (wife Genevieve) and Anna Falco. He is predeceased by a brother, Peter Fraioli. Visitation Thursday evening 5-9pm at the funeral home. GERMANO, CARMELLO “Boy”, died December 5, 2007. Born in White Plains on March 24, 1915 to Gaetano & Bernada Germano. He moved to Mamaroneck at an early age and attended local public schools. In early 1942 he was drafted into the US Army where he rose to the rank of Tech Sgt. in a tank destroyer company. He returned to Mamaroneck after WWII and was associated with the Mamaroneck Garage until he retired at age 62 and pursued traveling. He and his companion Marion Sweetland enjoyed their Air Stream Trailer traveling the US with two trips to Alaska. They belonged to the Wally Barnum Air Stream Club in the “Berkshire Unit” and also the Family Coach. He enjoyed winters in Punta Gorda, FL at Paradise Park, and summers in Milford, PA at Lake Adventure, but always enjoyed having his main residence in his favorite home, Mamaroneck. He gave back to his community by donating the land that the Mamaroneck EMS building sits on today. He also donated the school house bell on the 1775 Schoolhouse at Harbor Island. He is the brother of Angela Fiorito & Joseph Germano both of Mamaroneck, Ann Enke of Danbury and the late Francis Quadagno & Minnie Grossi. HARTLEY, THOMAS M, of Rye, on July 22, 2008, a long time Rye resident at age 82. Mr. Hartley retired executive from Union Carbide after a 40 year career. . Tom was born June 29, 1926 in New Rochelle to Frances and Clifford Hartley. Tom’s family was the life of his life. His wife, children and grandchildren were a source of never ending joy to him. Throughout his career, Tom was happiest when he was helping others to learn, grow and laugh. Tom grew up in Larchmont, NY and later moved to Rye. He graduated the University of Pennsylvania and the New York University Graduate School of Business. He was in the Army Air Corps during WWII, serving as a radio operator-gunner, in the Philippines. At Union Carbide he is remembered as a man who took his work seriously, but not himself. Employee training and development was his main interest at UCC. Following his retirement he continued in vocational service as a training and development consultant and loyal member of the Rye Rotary Club. He was also a member of the Coveleigh Club and Rye Golf form many years. He liked to say that he found golf to be the only exception to growth through learning. Tom is predeceased by his wife Lois, survived by daughter Martha Casiles (husband David), of Falmouth, MA, his son Don (wife Diane) of Wareham, Mass. Grandchildren Daphne, Allison and Samantha, Danny and Ayana, and a sister Ann Eckman of Va. also survives. Services will be Saturday 10:30am at Christ Church in Rye, followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are conducted by Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home.

Kaufman, Edwin H., MD, of Larchmont, died February 9, 2008 at age 87. Born August 19, 1920 to Benjamin & Henrietta Kaufman. Dr. Kaufman served in the Army during WWII. He was a graduate of City College of New York in Manhattan and he later graduated the NYU College of Medicine in 1945. Dr. Kaufman practiced Medicine in Mamaroneck for forty years and was also an Attending Physician at New York United Hospital for forty years. He served as the Director of Medicine at United Hospital from 1968-1973 and also served on the Town of Mamaroneck Ethics Board. Dr. Kaufman was the President of the Sound Shore Chapter of the American Cancer Society. He is survived by his beloved wife Valeria, cherished children, Jonathan Kaufman (wife Belinda), Carolyn Kaufman, and Andrea Aronson (husband Stephen). Loving grandfather of Daniel & Andrew Kaufman and Michael, Alexandra & Julianne Aronson and dear brother of the late Judith Kaufman. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday from 4:30-6:30pm at the funeral home where a service will begin at 5:30pm. Memorial donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Kehoe, Kevin, of White Plains, on August 5, 2008 at age 71. Mr. Kehoe was born in New York City in 1937 to Richard and Florence (nee McDermott) Kehoe. He was a naval veteran serving from 62 to 63 and later worked as president of Tec Rep Inc. Devoted to his church he served as President of the parish council of Our Lady of Sorrows as well as a Eucharistic Minister. Beloved husband of Ellen (nee Pascia) Devoted father of Kevin Jr. (wife Stasia), Richard, Ellen Micallef (husband Joseph) and Kathryn Biggs (husband John) Loving brother of Father Richard Kehoe CM, Ann Yanni, Florence Hogan, and Sheila Gobes and proud grandfather of nine. LABATE, FRANK, passed away October 19, 2008 at age 84, surrounded by his loving family. Born June 21, 1924 in Port Chester to Antonio and Isabella Labate. Frank proudly served in General Patton’s Army 97th Division in WWII, and worked as a wholesaler in the bowling ball industry. In addition to his beloved wife Sandra, he is also survived by his cherished children Frank,Jr, Christopher, and FrankieNan Carello, 10 adoring grandchildren, and loving siblings Charles, Anthony, Joseph, Johnny, and Mary. LaBrusciano, Arthur “Rembrandt” on February 17, 2008 age 93. Arthur was born in Mamaroneck to Louis and Marie (Ruggiero) La Brusciano. During WWII he worked with Werner VonBraun and was an avid photographer all his life devoting his talents to the Police Department as a crime photographer, the Fire Department and the Journal News. He was ex-captain and 55 year member of Halstead Manor Fire Dept. Beloved husband of 69 years to Margaret (Santangelo), cherished father of Carol Ann Della Crosse and Eileen De Fazio, devoted brother of Albert and Raymond and the late Romeo, James, Frank, Alfred, Carrie Papa and Nellie Battapaglia. He is the proud grandfather of Dawn Amoruuso, Michelle Bruchard and Robert J. DeFazio and great grandfather of Ashley, Nicholas Amanda and Robert Amoruso, Gabrielle Bruchard and Chris and James Novelli. LEMMA, SADIE E., a Larchmont resident, died May 5, 2008 at age 81. Born June 5, 1926 in New Rochelle to James & Josephine Veltri. Sadie was an extraordinary woman of many talents. She was a member of the Calabria Society and was also a 65 year member of the Wednesday Night Club. Sadie was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Lemma. MARX, MARY ANN, of Larchmont, on July 30, 2008 age 71. Mary Ann was born in Chicago, on March 16, 1937 to Arthur and Mary (Keck) Klima. A devoted homemaker, Mary Ann is the beloved wife of George III, devoted mother of George IV.(wife Amy) Christopher (wife Kristen), Michael, Thomas and Mary Louise Farr (husband Eric). She is also survived by her step mother Ann Klima, step brother William Elkjer and six grandchildren. Reposing on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass Monday 10 am at Sts. John & Paul R. C. Church followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery

McDERMOTT, MARGARET “Peggy” COSGROVE, died peacefully at home in Mamaroneck, NY on Friday August 22 with her family by her side. Calvary Hospice was key in the care of Peggy over the last six months. Peggy was born December 7, 1923 in New York City to Margaret Dwyer and Warner Cosgrove and graduated from the School of the Holy Child in Suffern, NY, attended Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY and graduated from the College of Good Counsel in White Plains, NY. She received a graduate degree in Library Science from Pratt Institute and had been employed by The AICPA, in NYC, as their head librarian. Mrs. McDermott is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Cosgrove of Bryn Mawr, PA and her four children: Margaret Donohue Dornbusch, Charles D. Donohue II and his wife, Esmeralda Garcia- Donohue, Seane Donohue Marren and her husband Bernard and Eleanor Donohue Moore and her husband James and step-daughter Mary McDermott. She was also grandmother to: Greta and Robert Dornbusch, Tracey, Colin and Timothy Marren, Kelsey, Liam and Erin Moore, Willis Williams and his wife Cynthia and Jade Garcia and great-grandmother to Maya Williams. She was brought up in both New York City and Montvale, NJ, raised her family in Larchmont, NY and had lived in Sleepy Hollow, Scarborough and Mamaroneck, NY. Her religion was of utmost importance to her and she was an active member of Sts. John & Paul Roman Catholic Church, as well as an active member of VOTF. She was also a member of the Mamaroneck Women’s Club. Peggy was pre-deceased by two husbands; Robert L. Donohue and Cyril T. McDermott, a devoted brother Warner, daughter Mary and grandson Colin Marren. Travel, food and adventure were all part of her life. Canoeing, camping, amusement parks, sky coastering and parasailing in her late 70’s early 80’s were only a small number of ways she enjoyed life. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 2:00–4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00PM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday August 29th 11:00 AM at Sts. McKEON, ESTELLE (Syrek), age 90, formerly of Mamaroneck NY and New York City died September 03, 2008 in Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew McKeon with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Jean Buettner and husband John FL, Rosemarie Deegan and her husband John of MA, Michael McKeon and his wife Annalisa of NY. Estelle was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck 914-698-5968 Monday 9:00am. Funeral mass will be follow 10:00 at Most Holy Trinity Church, 320 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaoneck . Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local Alzheimer's Foundation.

McNULTY, THERESA, passed away peacefully on October 24th after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 82 years old. Born in county Leitram, Ireland on November 1, 1925. She was the daughter of Frank and Mary Rooney McNulty. She came to the United States in 1948 and lived in Port Chester until moving to White Plains in 1961. During her life she worked at Altmans Department store, Neiman Marcus and Lord and Taylor. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 10:30 am at St. Johns the Evangelist R.C. Church in White Plains. Committal will be private.
