Born July 12, 1925 to Frank & Hilda Sabito.
Mildred worked as a Bookkeeper for Empire Brushes in Port Chester.
Beloved wife of the late, Michael Sassone.
survived by her cherished children, RoseAnn Minnerly and Lawrence Sassone, grandchildren, Jennifer Page and Michael Minnerly, and her great grandchildren, her pride and joy, Megan and Kevin Page and Aaron Minnerly.
A memorial mass will be held Monday 11am at Resurrection RC Church in Rye.

SCUDERI, ANTONIO

SCUDERI, ANTONIO, of Port Chester, died September 11, 2008 at age 84.
Born April 28, 1923 in Franca Villa, Italy, to Angelo & Carmela Scuderi.
Antonio worked as a tailor for many years and was an award winning member of the NY & CT National Tailors Association.
He was a soccer enthusiast who also enjoyed playing cards with his friends.
He is the beloved wife of Teresa Scuderi, cherished father of Angelo Scuderi (wife Nina), Maria Scuderi and Carmela Koller (Joseph), step-father of Anthony Nesci (Carmen) and Angela Bavosa (Robert).
Loving grandfather of 9 and dear brother of Peppino & Francesco Scuderi.
He is also survived by brother-in-law, Nazareno Montagnese and many nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends.
Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass Monday 10:45am at Corpus Christi R.C. Church followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to Calvary Hospital.

SEAGRAVES, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN

SEAGRAVES, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, of Mamaroneck, died November 10, 2008 at age 81.
Born May 8, 1927 in NC to Larry & Millie Seagraves.
He served in the Merchant Marines and later the US Army where he was stationed in Austria and was a Mountain Climbing Instructor.
Benjamin later worked in the Maintenance Dept for the Town of Mamaroneck.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie (Tomasetti), cherished children, Richard Seagraves and Linda Haloi (Carl), dear sister, Millie Lou Scott and loving grandchildren, Daniel & Leah.
Predeceased by siblings, James Seagraves & Mary Lanier Williams.
Visitation Thursday evening 6:30-9pm at the funeral home where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10am.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Union.

SHEHADEH, KAMAL F.

SHEHADEH, KAMAL F., We celebrate the life of the beloved Kamal F. Shehadeh, resident of Eastchester, New York for 25 years and most recently, Naples, Florida.
Kamal’s life spanned 72 years from February 29, 1936 to August 2, 2008.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, his adventures took him and his family throughout the Middle East, Europe and the United States, where they finally settled in 1978.
He was a Cavalliere della Republica Italiana, as well as an international airline executive, local business owner and real estate investor.
Kamal was a soccer star in his youth, and an avid tennis player and fan.
His family and friends will miss the self-proclaimed “King of Ras (West) Beirut” whose charm and sense of humor brought smiles to many.
His wife Adonis “Doni” Adem Shehadeh, children Fady and Karim, their respective wives Marcy French and Natalia Geren, and granddaughter Mimi Shehadeh, will keep his memory alive. Visiting hours will be Thursday, August 7th 6 -9pm at COXE AND GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, N.Y. 914-698-5968.
Funeral Service Friday 10am at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Union Cemetery.

SMYTHE, ELAINE, of New Rochelle, died August 4, 2008 at age 61.
Born October 23, 1946 to Edwin & Sonja Erickson.
Elaine worked as a bookkeeper for Barksdale Management Corp in Pelham Cherished mother of Jackie, Donna, Terri & Paul, loving grandmother of Anthony, Danielle, Michael, Zachary and Lauren and great grandmother of Alli & Adriana.
Elaine is the dear sister of Neil Erickson, cherished aunt of Shari, Alex, Alicia & Jack and she was a second mother to Kara, Jose & Nina.

SORIANO, PETER M., of Mamaroneck and Palm Beach, FL, died November 14, 2008 at age 86.
Born April 15, 1922 to Frank & Jennie Soriano.
He served in the Army during WWII and later became a Factory Worker for Lanolin Cosmetics.
He is the beloved husband of Catherine (Esposito).
Cherished father of Frank Soriano (Maria) and Joe Soriano (Marilyn).
Loving grandfather of Alaina, Gregory, Jaclyn, Samantha and Michele Soriano.
Dear brother of the late Mary, Madeline & Nellie.
Visitation this evening 7-9pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass Wednesday 11am at St. Vito’s RC Church.
Committal will be private.

TODARO, LORRAINE

TODARO, LORRAINE, of Harrison, died August 24, 2008 at age 83.
Born May 7, 1925 to James and Emma Cappellino.
Lorraine worked for many years as a banker for Chase.
She is the beloved wife of Frank Todaro, cherished mother of Francine Forrest (Steve), and the late Frank Anthony Todaro, loving grandmother of Traci Forrest-Keith, Joey, Tricia, Michele & Steven Forrest and great grandmother of Aidan Keith, and dear sister of the late Joseph and William Cappellino.
Visitation Wednesday morning 8:30-9:30am at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will follow at 10am at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be sent to Calvary Hospice.

TRICARICO, MICHAEL

TRICARICO, MICHAEL, of New Rochelle, died on July 30, 2008 at age 89.
He was born in NYC on September 20, 1918 to Antonio & Lucia Tricarico.
For many years he worked in the garment business with many top designers.
He was married to Ann Tricarico for 58 years.
She predeceases him.
They were married in 1946 at St. Lucy’s Church in the Bronx.
Beloved husband of the late Ann, cherished father of Frank Tricarico (wife Rosalie) and Michelle Kelly.
Devoted brother to Frank Tricarico, killed in action in 1945 and the late Renie Marone, Frances Gennaro.
Funeral Mass and burial is being held privately.
There will be no calling hours as per his wishes.

TRIFILETTI, SUZANNE

TRIFILETTI, SUZANNE, of Mamaroneck, passed away on October 15, 2008 after a long courageous battle with her illness.
She was surrounded by her family and friends.
Suzanne was born on April 22, 1942 in Port Chester to Joseph & Sue Pizzarello.
She attended Port Chester Schools and was a graduate of Port Chester High School.
She later graduated from Berkley Secretarial School.
On September 20, 1969, she married her beloved husband, Vincent Trifiletti.
He predeceases her.
For many years Suzanne was employed at PepsiCo in Purchase.
Upon retiring in 1990 she went on to work for Drs. Shapiro & Goldblatt in Rye Brook.
Suzanne is survived by her loving nieces, Laura Trifiletti Ruto, Brittany and Dina, cousins, Louis and Elizabeth, as well as many loving cousins, family and friends.
She will be remembered for her unconditional love, warmth & kindness.
Her quick witted personality will forever hold a place in our hearts.
She was a rock to her family and will be sorely missed.
Visitation Friday 5-9pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30am at Holy Rosary R.C. Church in Port Chester followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

TRIPICCHIO, ANNA MARIA of Harrison, died August 15, 2008 at age 50, after a courageous battle.
Born August 7, 1958 in Calabria to Tommaso & Maria Tavano.
She worked as a Production Assistant for Cine Magnetics.
Anna Maria is the beloved wife of Giovanni Tripicchio, the cherished mother of Michael Tripicchio & Nella Tripicchio, and dear sister of Joseph & Dominic Tavano and Rita Urdaneta.
Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9 at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968.

VETERE, FRANK A.

VETERE, FRANK A. of Harrison, died peacefully on February 13, 2008 at the age of 80.
Born in Harrison on May 17, 1927 to Pasquale & Mary Vetere.
As a lifelong Harrison resident, he graduated Harrison High School and served in the US Marine Corp in WWII, Pacific Theater.
Frank met Antoinette (Ann) Vaccaro, the love of his life in 1944 and married her on April 30, 1949.
He was in the construction business and started Vetere Construction Inc.
Frank became interested in public service and eventually was elected and served as Councilman/Trustee in the Town of Harrison for 16 years.
He also served as Supervisor/Mayor.
Always active, Frank was an avid golfer and member of the Rye Golf Club, and a member of the Harrison Players, Edith Read Sanctuary, Carle Anderson Post #599 an VFW Post #3047. His varied interests included Civil War history and Native American History and he was a member of the Harrison Historical Society where he loaned numerous Indian Arrowheads and artifacts that he found.
Frank loved country western music and he entertained friends and family at gatherings with his singing and guitar playing.
As busy as Frank was, his family always came first and his love will remain forever in the hearts of his beloved wife, Ann, his cherished children, Patrick (Denise) Vetere, Frank (Janet) Vetere, Laurie (Peter) Legakis and Mariann (Tom) Zink, his nine adored grandchildren and one great grandchild, surviving brothers John and Pat Vetere and sisters, Carmella DiMarco and Marie Marcone.
The family will receive friends on Friday 4-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767E. Boston Post Rd Mamaroneck 914-698-5968.
Funeral Mass Saturday 10am St. Gregory the Great RC Church followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

VIETRO, JOHN J.

VIETRO, JOHN J., of Port Chester, died April 19, 2008 at age 58.
Born February 16, 1950 to John & Rose Vietro.
John worked for many years as a Computer Technician for IBM.
An avid Yankee fan, he also spent his time coaching Little League and Midget Football in Port Chester.
He is the beloved husband of Jeanette (Pugliese).
In addition to his wife and his parents, John is also survived by his cherished children, Jon Peter and Jacquelyn Vietro, dear sister, Linda Saccone (husband Paul), loving mother-in-law, Rose Pugliese, and siblings-in-law, Rose Ann Surace, John Pugliese, Patty Tempesta and Diane Goldberg.
Visitation Tuesday April 22nd 5-9pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass Wednesday 10am Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church.

WARD, JACK J.

WARD, JACK J.– beloved husband of Marion L. Ward and loving father of Carol S. Ward passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2008.
He was born on May 19, 1922 in Arachon, France.
Educated at the Jesuit Stonyhurst College in Blackburn, England, he went on to receive a degree in aeronautical engineering and worked for BOAC, now British Airways.
After World War II his career changed path when he joined his father, Stanley F. Ward, in the family commodity business, eventually becoming president of the firm.
In 1965 he emigrated to the United States in order to establish a division of the British Commodity Company.
During the 1970’s he was the green coffee and cacao specialist of the commodity desk at E.F. Hutton.
In 1977 he became President and CEO of Barretto Products, Inc. the U.S. subsidiary of the British commodity company selling the raw materials to major chocolate companies such as Hershey and Mars, a position he held until his retirement in 1993.
An avid gardener and golfer, he also loved to travel with his wife and daughter.
The two constants in his life were his faith, being a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church in Harrison, NY for over 40 years and his family.

WEBB, VERA LANZA

WEBB, VERA LANZA, the quintessential caretaker, died September 29, 2008 at age 82.
A lifelong Mamaroneck resident, she is the daughter of the late Dominic & Carmela (Pugliatti) Lanza.
For many years she worked as a Supervisor for MetLife.
On May 28, 1955, she married her beloved husband, William Webb.
He passed away in 2000.
Family gave Vera the greatest joy and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She always cared for her family and loved to cook for them.
They will forever cherish her many special recipes.
Vera is survived by her devoted children, William Webb (wife Kathleen), Joseph Webb (wife Robin) and MaryAnn Webb.
Also survived by loving grandchildren, Dillon, RJ & Jenna and step-grandchildren, Perry & Christina, sister-in-law, Ann Lanza McKay and many loving nieces & nephews.
She is predeceased by siblings, Frank, Charles, Joseph and Frances Lanza.

YANNUZZI, JACK H.,

YANNUZZI, JACK H., a longtime Mamaroneck resident, passed away January 27, 2008 at age 68.
Born March 4, 1939, he was the son of the late Elda Yannuzzi.
Jack served in the US Navy and worked as a Foreman for the Village of Mamaroneck.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 90.
He was also a member of Halstead Manor Company of the Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department, where served as chief in 1978.
An avid Mets Fan, Jack was member of the Larchmont-Mamaroneck Old Timers Athletic Association.
He was the beloved husband of the late Geri (Corsi) Yannuzzi.
Jack is survived by his devoted sons, Jack H. Yannuzzi Jr. and Michael Yannuzzi (wife Dawn).
Also survived by devoted sisters, Louise Yannuzzi and Jenny Haigney (husband Doug), loving grandchildren, Nicole & Samantha and cherished friend, Jane Adams.
Visitation Monday EVENING January 28th 7-9pm & Tuesday January 29th 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass Wednesday 10am St. Vito’s RC Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.

YANNUZZI, SALVATORE

YANNUZZI, SALVATORE, the beloved crossing guard outside of Daniel Warren School, died November 6, 2008 at age 80.
Born December 12, 1927 to John & Fiorina (Rondinella) Yannuzzi.
Sal worked as an auto body mechanic.
He was a proud 52 year member of both the Halstead Manor Fire Department and Hook & Ladder.
Sal was also a past Lieutenant of Halstead Manor.
For 20 years he served as a Mamaroneck soccer league coach and was a member of the American Legion Post 90 and the Old Timers Athletic Association.
Sal was the beloved husband of the late Marion (Dunn).
She passed away in 2002.
He is survived by his cherished siblings, Pasquale Yannuzzi and Florence Greto, loving grandson Mark Ballantyne (wife Michelle), great grandchildren, Logan and Ryan, dear friend Christine Ballantyne, and many loving nieces & nephews.
He is predeceased by his son, James and siblings, Dominic, Samuel, Albert, James, George, Mary & Elda Yannuzzi.
