Marjorie Same, 81, of Sandalwood Drive, died Nov. 5, 2006.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer W. Same Jr. and son, Christopher A. Same. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Same and Judy Same; son, Steven (Denise) Same; granddaughter, Jennifer Same; grandson, Nicholas Same; sisters, Virginia (Robert) Smith and Marilyn (Raymond) Pile; several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service was held in the chapel of Vay, Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home. Interment was in White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions in her name may be sent to Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.

Carmela Mastrella

Carmela (Lombardo) Mastrella of Twin House Circle died Nov. 2, 2006 at St. John's Home at the age of 90.
She was predeceased by her husband, August. She is survived by her children, Marie M. (John) Simonetti and Rose (Thomas) Oldfield; grandchildren, Cheryl (Michael) Kuttner, Pamela (Robert Fudge) Simonetti, Lisa (Christopher) Cerecedes, Daniel (Loretta) Simonetti, Julie Oldfield, Thomas A. Oldfield; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Amanda Kuttner; brother, Sam Lombardo; special friends, Paul and Ruth Neumann; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Lawrence Church. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre cemetery. In her memory, donations may be sent to St. John's Home, 4 South, 150 Highland Ave., Rochester, NY 14620; Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Road S., Rochester, NY 14623 or St. Lawrence Church Song Prayers, 1000 N. Greece Road, Rochester, NY 14626. Arrangements were made by Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home.

MaryAnn Sanfilippo

MaryAnn (Licata) Sanfilippo of Harpington Drive, Gates, died Nov. 6, 2006 at Rochester General Hospital.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Genevieve Licata and her brother, Charles (Deede) Licata. Mrs. Sanfilippo is survived by her husband of 31 years, John Sanfilippo; daughters, Deborah (Stephen Goodman) Sachs and Susan Cerretto; son, David (Brian Rooney) Hanna; grandchildren, James and Jason (Jennifer) Sachs, David, John and Brittany Cerretto; great-grandson, Joseph "Joey" Sachs; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 9 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Donations in her memory may be sent to the School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Pkwy., Rochester, NY 14623. Arrangements were made by Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home.

Charles B. Ritz

Charles B. Ritz of Hendersonville, N.C., formerly of Rochester, died Nov. 3, 2006 in Hendersonville.
He is survived by his wife, Vernice Ritz; sons, Gary Ritz of Rochester and James (Kathy) Kalish of North Carolina; daughters, Judy (Chuck) Christopher and Joni (Larry) Infantino, both of Rochester; sister, Melita Cone; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His memorial service was held at First Bible Baptist Church. Private interment was in Riverside cemetery. Memorials in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were made by Vay, Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home.

Mary T. Kolb

Mary T. Kolb, 91, of Greece, died Nov. 7, 2006.
Mrs. Kolb, the fifth generation of women in the Kolb family, was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and St. Charles Ladies Group.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Martin K.; children, Bruce Kolb and Joyce Kolb Betancourt; grandchildren, Heidi, Derick, Daryl, Tracy and Amy; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Shay, Rochelle, Dylan and Hunter; two great great-granchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre cemetery. In her memory, friends may do a kind deed for someone. Arrangements were made by Vay, Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home.

Joan W. (Worsech) Harnischfeger

Joan W. (Worsech) Harnischfeger of Stone Road died Nov. 8, 2006 at Unity Hospital at the age of 66.
Mrs. Harnischfeger retired from Eastman Kodak Company where she worked as an executive secretary.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Elmer Harnischfeger; son, Mark (Monica) Harnischfeger; two grandchildren, Emily and Kaitlyn; many cousins and close friends.
Her funeral service was held at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre cemetery. In her memory, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Dolores A. Piccarreto

Dolores A. (Barragato) Piccarrereto of Red Hickory Drive, died Nov. 6, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospice at the age of 78.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Piccarreto and is survived by her children, Carol (Michael) Livecchi of Las Vegas, Nev., Barbara (Frank) Seeburg, John (Geri Billotti) Piccarreto; grandchildren, James (Niki) Livecchi, Matthew (Bethany) Piccarreto, Megan Piccarreto, Kyle Seeburg, Zachary Seeburg; great-grandchildren, Sam Livecchi and Jared Piccarreto; sister, Mary Meeker; brother, Robert Barragato; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Lawrence Church. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Arrangements were made by Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home.

Arthur H. McDonald

Arthur H. McDonald died Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the age of 82.
He was predeceased by his three brothers.� Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen; children, Bonnie Jean DiNicola, Paul (Terry), Arthur (Linda) McDonald Jr.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Charles; sisters-in law, �Dorothy and Peggy McDonald; many nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass was celebrated at Christ the King Church. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Arrangements were made by Paul W. Harris Funeral Home.

Daniel J. Oberst

Daniel J. Oberst of Lawrenceville N.J. died Nov. 9, 2006 at the Princeton, N.J. Medical Center of renal cell carcinoma. He was 58. He was born in Rochester and was a member of the first graduating class at Bishop Kearney High School. Mr. Oberst worked for nearly 20 years as the Director of Enterprise Services at Princeton University and was known nationally as a pioneer and leader in internet connectivity.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bernice (Mooney) Oberst and Charles Oberst, as well as a brother, Paul. He leaves his wife of 26 years, Martha Richmond, of Lawrenceville; two sons, Caleb, of Philadelphia, Pa. and Jesse, of Tokyo, Japan, as well as a daughter, Keturah, of Lee, Mass. He also leaves five brothers and their wives: Eugene and Margaret of Rochester, Stephen and Betty of Irondequoit, Jerome and Betsy of Oswego, Philip and Mary Kay of Irondequoit, and James and Amy, also of Rochester. In addition, he is survived by 19 nieces and nephews; his aunts, Elizabeth Mooney and Mary Mooney, both of Rochester; sister-in-law and brother-in-law David and Jean Bowman, of Flagstaff, AZ; and mother-in-law, Sonya Richmond, also of Lawrenceville.
In his memory, donate blood or contribute to Kidney Cancer Association (https://� www.curekidneycancer.org/) � Remembrances in his honor can be added to a blog established by his colleagues at Princeton University at https://blogs.princeton.edu/fordan/. A memorial Mass celebrating his life will be offered on Saturday, November 18 at the Lawrenceville School. A Memorial Service will also be held in Rochester at a later date.

John R. Fletcher

CLIFTON SPRINGS - John R. Fletcher, beloved father and son, 52, of Silver Street, died Friday, March 23, 2001 at the House of John.
Friends called on Sunday, March 25 at the John C. Johnson Funeral Home Inc., in Canandaigua. A memorial service to celebrate his life was held on Monday, March 26 at the United Methodist Church in Clifton Springs. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery in Canandaigua.
Memorial contributions may be made to the House of John, 14 Spring St., Clifton Springs, NY 14432 or to the Strong Memorial Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, 14642.
Mr. Fletcher was born in Canandaigua and was formerly of Cheshire. He had attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy. He had worked at Mobil Chemical in Macedon for 27 years, retiring in 1992. Mr. Fletcher then worked as a safety training officer at BFI in Tennessee for 5 years. He moved to Clifton Springs and worked at DLRAM Inc. for a year. He was also a former coach for the Vince Lombardi Football League in Clifton Springs.
He is survived by his son, James M. Fletcher of Clifton Springs; his daughter, Amy (Christopher) Scibelli of Newark, Del.; his mother Helen (Kornbau) Fletcher of Canandaigua; his father, Burt Fletcher of Pavilion; his sister, Susan (William) Brown of Shortsville; his sister-in-law, Donna (Spencer) Parsons of Bristol; two nieces, Regina (William) Fletcher-Czora of Canandaigua and Jennifer Brown of Shortsville; and two nephews, Grant Fletcher of Newark and Donald (Day) Parsons of Rushville.
He was predeceased by his brother, James M. Fletcher, in 1971.

Frederick 'Fritz' Pirwitz

PHELPS - Frederick Pirwitz, 74, formerly of the Sodus/Wolcott area, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2001 at Rochester General Hospital.
There were no prior calling hours. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Arlington National cemetery with full military honors.
Friends may contribute to the ALS Foundation in his memory.
Fritz was born April 24, 1926, in Rochester, the son of Gustav and Elizabeth Pirwitz, and had lived in the Sodus/Wolcott area prior to moving to Phelps. He had served in the Air Force for 20 years, and saw action in both the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. After his retirement from the service, he had worked at Kodak and was retired from there. He was a former member of the Sodus VFW.
He is survived by his son, Eric (Candy) Pirwitz of Phelps; three daughters, Kathryn (Douglas) Rahl of Sodus, Debra (Jahn) of Woodland Park, Colo., and Nancy Schmitz of Poland Springs, Maine; six grandchildren; two brothers, Gustav and Theodore; three sisters, Lina, Anne, and Magdalene; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, who died in 1997.
Funeral arrangements were by the Eacker Funeral Home in Phelps.

Margie H. Adams

PHELPS - Margie H. Adams, 97, of Neider Road, died on Wednesday, June 27, 2001 at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic Extended Care Unit.
Friends called on Sunday, July 1 at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 2 at the United Church of Phelps, with the Rev. Shirley Filiatreau officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Church of Phelps Memorial Fund, or to a charity of one's choice.
Mrs. Adams was born July 9, 1903, in Junius, the daughter of the late William and Mary Howell, and lived in the Phelps area all of her life. She was a 1921 graduate of Phelps Union and Classical School.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the United Church of Phelps and the Women's Association. She was an elder of the Presbyterian Church and had served as chairman of the Merger Committee. She also worked on many committees and activities for the church.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the Wide Awake Grange for more than 60 years, holding many offices including master and secretary. She was also a member of the county, state and national grange. She was a member of the Phelps Croquet Club for many years. Mrs. Adams retired from Ontario-Yates Grange Insurance in 1963, where she had worked as a secretary.
She is survived by her son, Alfred; daughters, Velma (Paul) Crouch and Charlotte (Ramon) Howard; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband of 57 years, Lester L. Adams; grandson, Leland Adams; daughter-in-law, Edith Reppard Adams; brothers, Charles and Jesse Howell; and sisters, Ina Peck, Mary Stoddard, Nellie Siegwald and Cora Heckman.

Wilmer J. Draper

SHORTSVILLE - Wilmer J. Draper, 87, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at F.F. Thompson Continuing Care.
There will be no prior calling hours. A memorial service was held Thursday, June 28 at the Shortsville Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Laura Buisch officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Book of Remembrance at the Shortsville Presbyterian Church or to F.F. Thompson Continuing Care Center.
Mr. Draper was a 75-year member of the Shortsville Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and deacon. He was also the chairman of the Property Committee. He was the head machinist, vice president and treasurer of Pioneer Thrasher in Shortsville, and past president of Pioneer cemetery Association. He was also a machinist for six years at the American Can Company in Geneva. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Walborn Draper; two daughters, Jean Preece of Shortsville and Sharon E. (Felix) Undzius of Warren, PA; three granddaughters, Gaye J. Preece, Shari A. Preece and Sandi A. Weeks; three grandsons, Erik T. Undzius, Matthew S. Undzius and Kevin M. Undzius; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by the Sainsbury Funeral Home in Shortsville.

Vincent J. Fogarty

SHORTSVILLE - Vincent J. Fogarty, 88, of Shortsville died Saturday, June 23, 2001 at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.
Friends called Sunday, June 24 and Monday, June 25 at the Sainsbury Funeral Home in Shortsville. A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, June 26 at St. Dominic Church, Shortsville. Burial will be in St. Rose cemetery, Shortsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Red Jacket Sports Boosters Club in care of Red Jacket Central School.
Mr. Fogarty was a therapist at the V.A. Medical Center in Canandaigua for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Dominic Church and a graduate of Shortsville High School. He was an officer of the Shamrocks, a former Red Jacket School board members, a member of the Ontario County Republican Committee, a loyal supporter of local sports, bands, and drum corps and Citizens Hose Company.
Friends and children of the community were the most important things in his life.
He is survived by his two sons, Philip J. of Rochester, and Thomas J. of Manchester.
