Audrey A. Minns

SENECA - Audrey A. Minns, 53, of Gates Road, passed away unexpectedly Friday April 18, 2003 at home.
Friends called Monday, April 21 at the Patrick Funeral Home in Clifton Springs. Funeral services were Tuesday, April 22 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sandhill cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Finger Lakes Community Cancer Center.
Audrey was born Sept. 30, 1949, in Clifton Springs, the daughter of Lee and Sarah Everson, and had lived in the area all her life. She was a 1967 graduate of Clifton Springs High School and attended Arnot-Ogden Nursing School.
Audrey had worked at the Wayne ARC prior to going into business with her husband, Harry, at H&A; Custom Applications in 1977. She was a member of the Clifton Springs Baptist Church. Audrey also loved spending time quilting and on her computer.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Harry; children, Tammy (Robert) Kinslow of Palmyra, Michelle (Joseph) Hooker of Virginia, Aimee Orbaker of Geneva and Jesse (Michelle) Orbaker of Phelps; 11 grandchildren; mother, Sarah "Sally" Everson; sister, Nancy Everson; brothers, Richard (Susan) Everson and Leslie (Judy) Everson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Lee Everson.

Patricia L. Rosenthal

CLIFTON SPRINGS - Patricia "Pat" L. Rosenthal, 71, passed away Monday, April 21, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Florida.
There were no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be at a later date.
Memorials or contributions may be made to any cancer benefit or to any animal shelter organization.
Patricia was born March 10, 1932, the daughter of LaVerne and Dorothy Milliman Waterman. She grew up in Geneva and graduated from Geneva High School, Class of 1950.
Pat worked at Sarah Coventry and IEC in Newark before retiring in 1994. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Geneva, and then the First Baptist Church of Clifton Springs. She loved reading, music and her family.
She is survived by her children, Douglas L. Carlson of Newark, Daniel L. (Joanne) Carlson of Bloomfield, Chip Rosenthal of Georgia and Jan A. (John) Frederick of Clifton Springs; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Douglas L. Carlton, Sr. and Earl A. Rosenthal Sr.; her granddaughter, Brandy Lee Carson Nash; and her great-granddaughter, Ashley Rebecca Nash.

Bessie L. Kise

SENECA FALLS - Bessie L. Kise, 79, of 1271 Gravel Road, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at the Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Friends called Thursday, May 1 at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home in Seneca Falls. A funeral service was Friday, May 2 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Esther Wheeler, retired pastor of the Tyre United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Spring Brook cemetery in Seneca Falls.
Contributions in memory of Bessie may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Bessie was born June 6, 1923, in Junius, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Hendricks Cottrell. She was an assembler at Guaranteed Auto Parts of Seneca Falls, retiring in the early 1980s. She traveled for several years with her military husband, Harold Kise, before moving back to the Seneca Falls area in 1968.
She is survived by her son, Bertram R. Kise, of Seneca Falls; three brothers, Tom (Hazel) Cottrell of Waterloo, Edgar Cottrell of Geneva and Ralph (Irene) Cotrell of Waterloo; three sisters, Mary Ridley of Waterloo, Shirley Wilson of Florida and Carol (Mickey) Gillotti of Manchester; one granddaughter, Carissa Kise; two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Derek Tripilett; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Kise, in 1987.

Donald M. Pittman

SODUS - Donald M. Pittman, 81, entered into rest Monday, April 28, 2003.
At his request, calling hours were not observed. Family and friends attended a memorial service Sunday afternoon (May 4) at the Third United Methodist Church. Private interment will be in Lake View cemetery in Pultneyville.
Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be directed to the Third United Methodist Church, 56 W. Main St., Sodus, 14551.
Donald served during World War II in the Army Air Corps, and retired from Rochester Gas & Electric. He was a member of the Third United Methodist Church of Sodus, Sodus Rotary Club, Sodus American Legion and the Untied States Power Squadron.
He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 59 years, Hermina Young Pittman; loving daughters, Kathleen (Wayne) Keller of Phelps and Norma (Gerald) Ayer of Shortsville; special granddaughters, Elizabeth and Margaret Keller; one great-grandson, William Lally; and other dear family and friends.
Arrangements were by Young Funeral Home in Williamson.

Daniel L. Record

PENN YAN - Daniel L. Record, 59, of 118 Keuka St., died Saturday, May 3, 2003 at his home.
Friends attended his memorial service Saturday, May 10 at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel with Elder Elmer "Bud" Millard officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview cemetery.
Memorials may be made o the Ontario-Yates Hospice.
Daniel was born May 31, 1943, and was the son of Daniel B. and Lena Ricciotti Record. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Brink Record on May 19, 1973. Daniel was employed with Elderlee in Oaks Corners for 37 years. He was a member of the Moose Club and attended the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Waterloo.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Phyllis; daughter, Danielle Record of Geneva; sons, David W. (Karen) Record of Branchport, Daniel G. (Quinda) Record of Texas, Gary T. Record with the Air Force in Germany and Joseph L. (Cynthia) Record of Illinois; seven grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Pamela) Record of Clifton Springs and Ronald (Debbie) Record of Savannah; sisters, Linda (Tom) Lynch of Munnsville and MaryLou (Steve) Berry of Arizona; step-mother, Margaret Record of Canandaigua; and stepfather, Walter Barnum of Auburn; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Helen E. Sheldon

CLIFTON SPRINGS - Helen E. Sheldon, 74, of 11 E. Main St., died Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at the Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic.
Friends called Saturday, May 10 at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. Funeral services were Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lynn Spence officiating. Private burial will be in Whitney cemetery in Seneca Castle.
Memorial contributions may be made to Clifton Springs Hospital, c/o Beth Whitbeck, Activities Director, 2 Coulter Rd., Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
Mrs. Sheldon was born June 7, 1928 in Mexico, Oswego County, the daughter of the late Claude and Eva King Favor.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Cherie) Sheldon, of Lakeland, Fla.; daughters, Elizabeth (Ronald) Raes of Phelps and Linda (George) Kishbaugh of Manchester; sisters, Stella Kneut of Clifton Springs, Dorothy Vanden Beckens of Clifton Springs and Alice Hilton of Pulaski; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Sheldon.

Kenneth M. Ingison

CLIFTON SPRINGS - Kenneth M. Ingison, 96, of Ashton Place, formerly of Williamson, entered into rest Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus.
At Kenneth's request, calling hours were not observed. Family and friends were invited to attend a service Tuesday, May 13 at the Young Funeral Home in Williamson, followed by interment in Lake View cemetery in Pultneyville.
Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be directed to the First United Presbyterian Church of Sodus, 31 W. Main St., Sodus, 14551.
Kenneth was born Oct. 14, 1906, in Sodus, the son of the late George and Wilhemina Mullie Ingison. He graduated from Sodus High School in June of 1924, and graduated from the University of Rochester in June of 1929 with an AB degree. He married Dorothea VanEenwyk in September of 1930, and she predeceased him in April of 1988. He worked with the Revenue Accounting Center of the New York Telephone Co. until 1935, when he became sales manager and secretary on the board of the Fruit Belt Preserving Co. of East Williamson; he retired in December of 1971.
Kenneth was a life member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Sodus, a 70-year member of the Sodus Masonic Lodge F&AM; 392, a 50-year member and past president of the Williamson Rotary Club, past Republican town chairman of Williamson, past president of the United Way of Williamson, past member of the board of directors of Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and past member of the board of visitors of Newark State School.
He is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Doris Joan Milliken

LYONS - Doris Joan Milliken, 72, of Catherine Street, died Sunday, May 11, 2003 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, due to complications from injuries in an automobile accident Jan. 18, 2003.
A memorial service will be at a later date and time.
For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the Lyons Ambulance, 76 William St., Lyons, 14489; to Mercy Flight, 2420 Brickyard Rd., Canandaigua, 14424; or to the House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, 14432.
Doris was born April 29, 1931, in Lock Berlin, a daughter to Albert and Alma Lange Krueger. As a lifelong Lyons area resident, she was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lyons Lutheran Church, Boy Scouts of America Den Mothers, member of the Chemung County Old Timers Association, Tioga County Early Days, Pioneer Gas Engine Association, Canandaigua Pageant of Steam, Halsey Valley Gas Club, Allegany Mountain Gas Club, and she was a House of John volunteer in Clifton Springs.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth G. Milliken; three sons, Kenneth (Connie) of Shortsville, Donald (Deborah) of Lyons and Randy (Marie) of Clyde; daughter, Betsy (Gary) Brukhard of Phelps; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Bernice) Krueger of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law, Jack (Susan) Milliken of Palmyra; sister-in-law, Betty Gard of Rochester; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Arrangements are by the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home in Lyons.

Patricia Ann Pearson

NEWARK - Patricia Ann Pearson, 66, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandma and friend to many, died Sunday, May 11, 2003 at Clifton Springs Nursing Home, peacefully, surrounded by family.
Friends called Wednesday, May 14 at the Schultz-Pusateri Funeral Home in Newark. Services were Thursday, May 15 at the funeral home, with the Rev . Albert Kamm officiating. Burial will be in Newark cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Clifton Springs Nursing Home, 2 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
Pat was born Nov. 17, 1936, in Newark, the daughter of Alfred and Helen Hutchinson Pulver. In her earlier years, she worked for AT&T; as an operator, and was co-owner of the Montgomery Wards in Newark; she also worked for McDonald's and the Salvation Army. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her children, Cindi (Rick Carney) Blankenberg of Clifton Springs, Richard (Lisa) Pearson of Newark and Kathy (Chris Mitek) Marvel of Georgia; five grandchildren, Nicole (Todd) Young, Courtney Blankenburg, Chelsea and Anna Pearson, and Dylan Robert Mitek; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Kodi and Dallas Young, and Damion Carney; and two nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Pulver.
