Tod King
CLIFTON SPRINGS - Tod King, 43, of Sanitarium Road, passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 2004 at Rochester General Hospital.
Friends called Wednesday, Nov. 24 at the Patrick Funeral Home in Clifton Springs, followed by funeral services with the Rev. Albert Kamm officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn cemetery.
Friends may contribute to the American Diabetes Association in Tod's memory.
Tod was born Aug. 18, 1961, in Massena, the son of Carl and Irene King. Tod had struggled with diabetes since the age of 10 and very strongly believed in the importance of organ donations. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants and NASCAR driver Bill Elliot, and loved spending time with his family. Tod was especially devoted to his grandchildren.
Tod is survived by his loving wife, Luann; three daughters, Cari, Tami and Tasha; four grandchildren, Anthony, Allison, Eian and Adam; three sisters, Carla, Tami, and Lori; three brothers, Mike, Steve and Carl; very special friends who he loved dearly, Gary and Vicky; and several nieces and nephews.
Tod we predeceased by his grandparents.
Lewis F. Scott
CANANDAIGUA - Lewis F. Scott, 84, of 40 Wilcox Lane, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.
Friends called Sunday, Nov. 21 at the John C. Johnson Funeral Home in Canandaigua. Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 22 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Gorham cemetery.

Mr. Scott was born in Himrod and attended schools there. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific theater. He was a member of the Turner-Shrader American Legion Post 34 in Shortsville. Mr. Scott retired from Labelon Corp. in Canandaigua after 20 years.
He is survived by two sons, Robert (Nancy) Scott of Clifton Springs, William "Bill" A. Scott of Canandaigua; one daughter, Darlene (Steven) Curtis of Shortsville; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alice Fairbrother of Geneva, Margaret Riech and Myrtle Thomas both of Penn Yan; and dear friend, Elizabeth Everett of Canandaigua.
He was predeceased by is wife, Frances Scott in 2000; two brothers, Frank and George Scott; and two sisters, Helen McMillin and Edith Crumb.
Frank Fabrizi
ORLEANS - Frank Fabrizi, 84, of Waddell Road, passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 peacefully at home.
In keeping with his wishes, there were no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Wednesday, Dec. 1 at St. Felix Church in Clifton Springs.
Contributions may be made to the Humane Society in Frank's memory.
Frank was born Oct. 23, 1920, in Orleans, the son of the late Angelo and Mary Fabrizi, had lived in Orleans all of his life and was a graduate of the State University at Buffalo.
Frank operated the family farm and later the family restaurant, the Town Pump. He was a founding member of the Orleans Fire Protection Association and was an avid Syracuse basketball and football fan. He was also the family movie photographer for many years.
He is survived by his loving companion of many years, Marilynn Frost of Clifton Springs; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and the Fabrizi and Onorati families of Italy.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Clem Fabrizi, Josephine Warmuth, John Fabrizi, Irene Liss and Edith Fabrizi.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Patrick Funeral Home in Clifton Springs.
Lois M Roll
CLIFTON SPRINGS - Lois M. Roll, 61, of 47 Silver St., died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004 at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.
Friends called Monday, Nov. 29 at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 30 in the Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. William Mugnolo officiating. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery in Clifton Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 102 Hope Ave., Newark, 14513.
Lois was born May 27, 1943, in Clifton Springs, the daughter of Edwin W. and Louise Wolf Roll. Lois enjoyed cooking and flower gardening and she loved to travel.
Lois was highly dedicated to her job as secretary to the Midlakes High School principal. She was planning to retire at the end of the school year after 43 years.
Lois was also very dedicated to her Lord and church. She served for many years as church council secretary and organized many activities.
Lois loved her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Violet (Ralph) Freeman of Friendship, David (Hildreth) Roll of Clifton Springs, Arlene (Wilford) McWilliams of Zebulon, N.C., Donald (Barbara) Roll of Galway and Sharon (Walter) Slagle of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin W., and Louise Roll; brother, Edwin Roll; sister-in-law, Lucy Roll; and her sister, Hilda Boniak, who died Nov. 17, 2004.
Gladys B. Clemens Sinack
PHELPS - Gladys B. Clemens Sinack, 85, of 970 County Road 6, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.
Friends called Wednesday, Dec. 1 at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 2 at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will be in Joslyn cemetery in Oaks Corners.
Gladys was born Nov. 8, 2004, in Askov., Minn., the daughter of Herman and Fannie Pearson Frahs. She retired from the Newark Development Center. Gladys enjoyed gardening, and loved her pets and her family.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Catherine) Clemens of Phelps; a granddaughter, Sherry (Frank) DeCook; a step-daughter, Marie (Robert) Westfall of Phelps; two stepsons, William (Betty Taney) Sinack of Phelps and Kenneth (Rosemary) Sinack of Phelps; step-grandchildren, Dawn (Donald) Pierce, Diane (John) Jensen, Deborah Sinack, Dori (Josh) Knapp, Daniel Westfall, Jeanie Westfall, Kimberly Sinack, Kenneth Sinack Jr.; eight great-grandchildren, a brother, Herman (Clara) Frahs of Geneva; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Sinack, who died in 1986; a sister, Astrid Coene; and great-granddaughter, Chelsea Jensen.
Marie B. Smith
PHELPS/SENECA CASTLE - Marie B. Smith, 88, of Vienna Gardens, formerly of Seneca Castle, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004 at her home.
Friends called Friday, Dec. 3 at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Seneca Number Nine Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Ellen Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bellona cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca Number Nine Presbyterian Church, or to the Phelps Ambulance Corps.
Marie was born Oct. 24, 1916, in Geneva, the daughter of Charles Henry and Florence Goodwin Buss. She was a member and former elder of the Seneca Number Nine Presbyterian Church. She also was a member of the Number Nine Guild and the Ruth Watson Class. She was a former Ontario County 4-H leader and a former member of the Seneca Castle Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker, caregiver, and "Grandma Smith" to everyone she knew. She was famous for her apple pies and Christmas fudge.
She is survived by one son, Charles "Bud" (Linda) Smith of Seneca Castle; four daughters, Barbara (Donald) Lunick of Savannah, Ga.; Kathleen (Bruce) Gordner of Seneca Castle, Eileen (James) Keen of Woodbridge, Va., and Rebecca Wheaton of Romulus; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Bernice) Buss of Englewood, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Dennison of Union Springs and Gladys Monteverdi of Seneca Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, George H. Smith, On Aug. 26, 2001.
Mrs. Nettie C. Tillman
PHELPS - Mrs. Nettie C. Tillman, 96, of 144 Main St., died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004 at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.
Friends called Friday, Nov. 26 at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 27 at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Gramley officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis cemetery in Phelps.

Nettie was born July 6, 1908, in Waterloo, the daughter of Jacob and Jane Sellick Fisher. She worked for many years on the family farm. Nettie also worked at the Clifton Springs Sanitarium and retired from the Newark Developmental Center.
She is survived by three sons, Charles (Barb) Tillman of Phelps, Peter (Fern) Tillman of Waterloo and Paul Tillman of Phelps; a brother, Roy (Emily) Fisher of Forestville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; two sons, Richard and Ernest; and seven brothers and sisters, Frank, Laverne, Lorene, Eugene, Alice, Hazel and Walt.
Mingon Jeannette Coon
HERRIN, Ill. - Mignon Jeannette Coon, 88, of Herrin, formerly of Geneva, passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004 at Herrin Hospital.
Memorial services will be at the Presbyterian Church in Geneva at a time to be arranged.

Mrs. Coon was an elementary school teacher for many years in Clifton Springs and Geneva, and retired from the Lobby Shop at Geneva General Hospital after 23 years, however her most important role was that of being a wife and mother.
She was an avid knitter and knitted hats for newborns at local hospitals and mittens for a special group of school children in Mississippi. She was affectionately known as "Aunt Mitten" by her nieces and nephews. Her other love was her Geneva Women's Club and her "bridgers." She taught herself to play bridge in 1960, as she knew it was a way to meet people. Forty years later, she was still playing it and loving every minute. "It keeps my mind sharp, " she would say.
Mrs. Coon was born May 29, 1916, in Clifton Springs, to Roy A. and Ella May Graves Farnsworth. Mignon was united in marriage with Richard F. Coon on Oct. 21, 1942, in Shortsville.
Surviving are one daughter, Ann J. Coon of Hurst, Ill.; three grandchildren, Jason Coon of Washington, D.C.; Andrea (Paul) Ficks of Farmington, Conn.; and Randal (Kiersten) Coon of Washington, D.C.; three great-grandchildren, Dylan and Kylee Ficks and Noah Coon; three sisters, May (Robert) Gordon of Rochester, Laura Philley of Shortsville, and Carolyn (William) Segbers of Shortsville; one brother, Roy J. (Dorothy) Farnsworth of Canandaigua. She also leaves many kind and loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard F. Coon, in 1975. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Hale Coon in 1989; her parents, and a sister, Ethel Geer.
The family of Mignon Coon would like thank the employees and doctors of the Herrin Hospital for the kind and loving care that was given to her during her illness.
Samuel D. Frankenfield
SOUDERTON, Pa. - Samuel D. Frankenfield, 83, of Souderton, went home to be with his Lord Monday, Dec. 6 2004 at Belle Haven Nursing Home in Quakertown, Pa.
Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 9 and Friday, Dec. 10 at the Souderton Mennonite Church, where a funeral service was held on Dec. 10. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, with whom he celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in January, Grace Nice Frankenfield of Souderton, Pa.; sons, Larry Frankenfield and his wife, Peggy, of Olean; James Frankenfield and his wife, Jane, of Telford, Pa.; and Durell Frankenfield of Harleysville, Pa.; daughters, Diane Williams and her husband, Wayne, of Phelps and Darlene Halteman and her husband, Steve, of Green Lane, Pa.; brothers, Earl Frankenfield of Harleysville, Pa.; and Paul Frankenfield of Souderton, a sister, Ruth Landis of Telford, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Leatherman and Pearl Landis.
Lars Hannevig
PHELPS - Former village resident Lars Hannevig, who helped many people start their days as radio show host Bill Coffey, died Monday of a heart attack in his Philadelphia home.
Hannevig, 56, lived on Main Street for many years, and his stepdaughter, Heather Ashby, graduated from Midlakes High School in 1993. He and his wife, Barb, often volunteered with the school's Theatre Experience group, of which Ashby was a member. Barb was also involved in Phelps-Clifton Springs Community Theatre.
Hennevig, a Vietnam veteran, moved from Phelps to Pennsylvania in 1998 to take care of his aging parents. Calling in his broadcasts from Philadelphia, he later resumed his morning radio show, "Morning Coffee, " on Rochester country station WBEE 92.5 FM.
He is survived by his wife, Barb; a son, Stephan; a daughter, Freya; and a stepdaughter, Heather Ashby, her husband, Phil, and their son. Ashby is also expecting her second child.
