Kramberg, Herman Phillip “Phil”

WILLIAMSON - April 20, 2010 at the age of 92. He was born May 5, 1917 in Woodbine, NJ. Predeceased by his parents Sam & Rose (Grunstein) Kramberg; brothers Louis & David Kramberg; granddaughter, Kelly. Survived by his wife Nora (Gadway) Kramberg; brother Harold (Lynn) Kramberg; children, Phyllis (David) Bacon, Father Don Kramberg of Dannemora, Jean (John) Thompson, Judy (Fotis) Boliakis of CT, Barry Kramberg & companion (Kim Sofia) of Webster, Percy Kramberg & finacee (JoAnn Mattice) of Central Square, Kevin Kramberg of WV; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Phil & Nora were married February 23, 1946 at St. Helen’s Church in Chasm Falls, NY. Retired from Xerox. Friends & family are invited to call Friday 10AM-12Noon with a Prayer Service at 12Noon at Murphy Funeral Home, 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario. His Funeral Service will be held 1PM at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Ontario. Interment immediately following at Calavary cemetery. MACEDON - Formerly of Massena, NY. Died on April 20, 2010 at age 70. Survived by wife of 42 years, Cathy Catanzarite Medina; children, Mia (Eric) Mueller, Marty (Tina) Medina, Rico (Terri) Medina; grandchildren, Alina & Noah Mueller, Luke Medina, Marin Medina; sisters Susanna Medina, Dalila (George) Papaleo, Ines (Herbert) Ortiz; brother Santos (Alicia) Medina; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Predeceased by his sister Lucy Medina; brother Ponchito Medina. Employed at General Motors & Reynolds in Massena, NY retiring in 2001. Active in Massena with the UAW, ABGW International, Knights of Columbus. Pete volunteered with many organizations including St. Patrick’s Church in Macedon & Rochester Speedskating Team. Pete was a master furniture maker, woodsman & fisherman who enjoyed his grandchildren & extended family. No prior visitation. A celebration of his life will be offered at Noon on Saturday, April 24, at St. Patrick’s Church. A reception with food & fellowship to immediately follow at the family’s home directly across the street. Interment will be private. D retired from Gananda Central School District in 2006 where she had worked as the secretary to the Superintendent for many years. She enjoyed her retirement by taking care of her grandchildren, reading & spending time with her dogs, Abby & Waggles. Survived by his wife Shirley of 62 years; children, Kathy (Guy) Prevost, Loveland, CO, Bruce (Mary) Fraser, Ontario, NY; 8 grandchildren, Scott, Lisa, Jeff, Andy, Molly, Sara, Brandon, Clay; 16 great grandchildren; sister Elizabeth Doyle; several nieces & nephews. He was a WWII Veteran & retired from Eastman Kodak after 37 years. O’Connor; grandchildren, Scott (Jill) York, Walworth, Karen (Andrew) York-Ames, Ontario, Kevin (Dawn) York, Fortworth, TX; 6 great grandchildren, Molly, Lily James, David, Jennifer York, Connor, Travis York. Doris was an active member of Federated Methodist Church, Stillwater & member of Stillwater Grange for many years. She & her husband enjoyed fishing & square dancing. Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Riverside cemetery in Orono.

Madden, Genevieve (Gen)

MACEDON - Celebrated life through 91 eventful years, most of those spent as a resident of Irondequoit, died on March 17, 2010. Predeceased by her brother Richard A. Madden. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Elaine Madden; nieces & nephews, Mary Katherine (Joseph) Bogardus, Marcia (Kevin) Austin, Richard (Sarah) Madden, Ellen Hart; great nieces, Kathryn Worthingtin, Grace Hart; great nephews, Timothy Austin, Christian Austin, Bryan Bogardus, Kevin Bogardus, William Hart. A graduate of Mercy High School and Nazareth College, Gen spent all of her professional career at Kodak Tower as an executive assistant. Personally, she devoted her life to family and friends. Gen was a confidant to all those in need of guidance, compassion or a friendly ear. Gen was a prolific traveler, undertaking adventurous journeys with her many dear friends. During her later years, a good day consisted of an engrossing book and the companionship of human and feline friends. Gen will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved her. She retired from Palmyra Elementary School after 30 years.
