FLAGSTAFF, AZ: Died peacefully on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at age 93 at The Peaks, Senior Living Community. Ruth survived her loving husband of 64 years. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Mary Beth) of Palmyra, NY & Peter (Sharon) of Riverside, CA; daughter Malene of Flagstaff, AZ; sister Lucille Frank of Wellsville, NY; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Ruth was born October 29, 1917 in Wellsville, NY to Olin & Anita Jones. She was married to J.E. (Pete) LaBerge on July 4, 1942 in Wellsville, NY. She was a 55 year member of the Western Presbyterian Church of Palmyra, NY, where she lived after her marriage. She worked for 21 years for Exxon-Mobil as an executive secretary. In 1958, she & her husband founded LaBco of Palmyra, Inc. a metal fabricating business that continues to prosper under her eldest son, Gary, & where Ruth worked for many years handling the accounting. Private burial will be held in Wellsville. Donations in her memory may be directed to the Western Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 101 E. Main Street, Palmyra, NY 14522. Arrangements by McGUIRE/HARGRAVE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME.

NEWARK - Formerly of Rochester, died unexpectedly on February 22, 2011 at age 45. Survived by his children, Vincent Thomas Novara, Deborah Lynn Novara, Charles Joseph Novara; grandson Nathan Lucas Sherman; siblings, Debra Jeanne (David) Schue, Sharon M. (Timothy) Voellinger; Karen A. (Todd) Voellinger, Matthew Shacket; several nieces, nephews & loving family. PALMYRA - Died unexpectedly on February 21, 2011 at age 53. Survived by his daughters, Jyssica Maniscola & Samantha Maniscola; wife Wendy; brother Anthony (Theresa) Maniscola; sister Patricia (Anthony) Scotti-Rinaldi; several nieces & nephews. Winski, Helmut “Pete”
MACEDON - Peacefully went to his heavenly father on February 19, 2011. Born in Baldenburg, Germany, 9/28/1929. Survived WWII and immigrated to America in early 50’s. Served in the US Air Force between 1953-57, where he earned his nickname, “Pete”. Married Nancy Ruth Azzano, 1954. Pete Winski was a brilliant man who understood and wrote language for computers before they were even known as computers. He fell in love with the Bristol Hills and retired early to enjoy his beautiful home and property in the “hills”. Survived by his loving wife, Nancy, daughter, Ruth Ann (Maurice) Rowe, sister, Irmgard Schaumann and grandson, Jason Intini. Also, many nieces and nephews, both in the US and Germany. Family and friends may join us Saturday, 1PM for a memorial service and luncheon at Eastside Christian Church, 3944 West Walworth Rd, Macedon. Internment to be private in Naples, NY. Arrangements by Payne & Murphy Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife Jean of 46 years; children, Ronda (Terry) Davey, Kenneth Johnson (Christine Bush); grandchildren, Danielle & Niki Davey, Philip Bush, Samantha Pittman; honorary children, Robert (Margaret) Hyman; honorary grandchildren Michael (Kendra), Brad, Alicia Hyman; siblings, Cathy Hurley, Ralph (Patricia) Johnson, John (Kathi) Johnson, Kenneth (Joan) Johnson, Robert Johnson, Don (Stephanie) Johnson, Joanne (David) McDonald, Connie (Ken) Young, Ruby (Bernie) Levett, James (Linda) Almekinder, Donald (Karen) Almekinder, Robert Almekinder, Howard (Debbie) Almekinder; including special niece Kimberley Hurley; many nieces & nephews; many friends & family; special neighbors Karl (Debbie) Countryman; special friend Pat Schuldt. Ron enjoyed time with his wife & children. His interests were Farmall tractors, tractor pulls & Nascar races. He worked for Ford dealerships for most of his life & retired from DelRossa Ford in Lyons. PALMYRA - Passed peacefully February 10, 2011 at age 50. Predeceased by her great grandma Velma Wehrlin; grandparents Eva & Doug Wehrlin of Brookside Terrace. Survived by her beloved parents, Barbara of Macedon & Paul Shanahan of Cheshire, CT; brothers, Sean & Seth Shanahan; half sister, Megan; nieces, Caitlin, Erin, Kenna, Emma, Amber, Erin; nephew, Zachary. ONTARIO - Died on February 6, 2011 at age 80 following a brief illness. Survived by her mother Elizabeth (Charles) Ternoois; sister Barbara (Martin) Wheeler; brother Robert (Kathleen) Pembroke; former husband & close friend Edmund Ritter; several nieces & nephews. She was a former employee of Commercial Controls Friden Corp. Friends are invited to call 2-4PM Thursday at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, immediately followed by her Funeral Service at 4PM. Wambach, Robert F.

ONTARIO - February 4th, 2011 at age 77. Mr. Wambach died at his home in Ontario, NY, surrounded by family members, ending a valiant battle against Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He married his life long partner and best friend, Lucia Molino on Sept.13, 1958 & raised four wonderful children. In addition, Mr. Wambach noted that he not only married a wonderful woman, but gained another wonderful family, the Molinos. Mr. Wambach served in the U.S. Army, having entered service in late 1953, while the Korean War was still in progress. After basic training at Camp Polk, LA, he was sent to radio school in Stuttgart, Germany & was stationed in Augsburg as a radio operator. He was honorably discharged after achieving the rank of Corporal. He returned to Ontario to raise a family & enjoyed a 37 year career at Delco Products/GMC, retiring in 1992 as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. He served as a member of the Ontario Volunteer Emergency Squad for 10 years & was active in the Rochester Genealogy Society. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lucia (Molino); daughters, Karen Merritt (Lance), Teresa Stockschlaeder (Jim), Margaret Rubin (Robert); son Robert Jr. (Lynn); 7 grandchildren; sisters, Florence Karn (Phil), Evelyn LeVay (John); brother Don (Barbara); many in-laws & cousins. His loved ones will miss his kindness, wit & wonderful sense of humor. The family wishes to thank Lifetime Assistance Hospice nurses for their compassion & guidance & the Molino family for their love & support. Friends may attend calling hours Tuesday 4-7PM at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, where his Memorial Service will be held 10AM Wednesday. Knorr, Beverly G.

ONTARIO - Died February 3, 2011. Survived by her husband David Knorr; children, Robert (Laura) Knorr, David (Jennifer) Knorr, Kelly (Joe) Spade, John Malone; 6 grandchildren; brother Louis (Alma) Grace; several nieces & nephews. Beverly was born on April 13, 1947 to Charles & Esther Grace of Walworth, NY. She married David on June 26, 1965. She was a longtime resident of Ontario where she enjoyed many years of community service as the Secretary Treasurer for the Ontario Fire District. She was also part of the Ladies Auxiliary for the American Legion Post 428 & Fire Co. in Ontario. Beverly was a dedicated employee of Webster Tool & Die/VI mfg. where she enjoyed many years as an HR Director & bookkeeper. She enjoyed many years of fun & entertainment at the family cottage on Cayuga Lake. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Friends & family are invited to attend her Funeral Mass 10AM Tuesday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Ontario. MACEDON - Formerly of Checotah OK, died on January 31, 2011 at age 87. Survived by her husband Charles W. Mommer; children, Donna Lee Smith, Stanley Wayne (Mary Elizabeth) Halvorsen, Rick B. (Mary Ann) Halvorsen; step-son Craig A. Mommer; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; great great grandson; sister Hattie Sheilds; many nieces & nephews. ONTARIO - Died on January 29, 2011 at age 90. Predeceased by his wife Betty. He is survived by his daughters Joan Tobin, Charleston SC, Nancy Thompson (John Chestnut), Ballston Spa, NY; grandchildren, Stephen (Anne) Tobin, Canandaigua, Daniel (Sandra) Tobin, Ontario, Margaret Ross, Charleston SC, Patrick Tobin, Charleston SC; 5 great grandsons, 2 great granddaughters; 1 great great grandson; brother Murray (Jean) Thompson; several nieces & nephews. A lifelong Ontario resident and businessman, he enjoyed many years of community and elected service including eight years as Ontario Town Supervisor, President of the NYS Horticultural Society, a forty year elected official of National Grape Co-operative Association, Inc (the cooperative ownership group of Welch’s), board member of the NYS Cherry Growers Association, NYS Apple Growers Association member, board member of Furnaceville Rural cemetery Association, March Kings community marching band and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Friends are invited to call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario, where his Funeral Service will be held 10AM Monday, followed by his burial at Furnaceville cemetery. ONTARIO - Died on January 28, 2011 at age 86. Predeceased by her parents Patrick & Margaret Maguire; sisters, Rosemary Maguire Hoffmann, Anna Elizabeth Maguire; brother Philip Warren Maguire. Survived by her sister Eleanor Maguire; brother-in-law George Hoffmann; many cousins & friends; dog Annie. A Requiem Mass will be sung 11AM Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Church, followed by her Committal at Calvary cemetery. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude & appreciation to all the wonderful staff at Maplewood Nursing Home for their compassionate loving care, kindness & attention. SALISBURY, MD: passed away on January 27, 2011 at age 57. Survived by her husband Brian; daughters, Andrea Donnelly-Marton, Jennifer Watson, Tiffany Fagner; sons, Matthew Travers, Ryan Donnelly; brother David Eldred of Washington; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Patricia was born in Syracuse, NY to Eldon Grant Eldred & Dorothy Mae Eldred on November 20, 1953. She graduated from North-Rose Wolcott High School in 1971. She married Brian Matthew Travers on July 16, 1982 & worked in the healthcare field most of her adult life. She lived for several years in Lyons & later in Palmyra, NY; also living in Auburn, Maine, & Seattle Washington before settling in Salisbury, MD. She passed at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in the presence of her family. Friends are invited to call 10-11AM Monday, January 31, 2011 at McGuire/Hargrave & Murphy Funeral Home, 123 E.
