GANANDA/WEBSTER - Died on February 20, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Cherished and beloved wife of Edward; mother to Timothy & Rocky; grandma & great grandma. Carolyn was a person of strength, dignity & most of all love. No prior calling. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be offered at St. Patrick’s Church of Macedon at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626 in her memory.

Friedler, Nancy “Fee”

ONTARIO - passed away quietly on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Maplewood Nursing Home at age 88. Survived by her husband of 57 years, Glenn A. Friedler; children, Katie, Jim, John Friedler, Mike (Pam) Friedler & Glenn E. Friedler; brother John (Margaret) Fee; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & dear friends. Nancy was a loving wife & mother. She loved writing poetry & playing piano. We will miss her gentle spirit, quick wit & sense of humor. All are invited to call 4-7PM on Wednesday at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Thursday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish at the St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Ontario, followed by her Committal Service at Calvary cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice in her memory.

Marchese, Josphine A.

Greece, NY: On Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband, Josephine was reunited with the love of her life, Sam. Survived by her daughters, Ninfa Marchese and Joanne (Jim) Bliss; son Thomas (Carol) Marchese; sister-in-law Carmella DiMarco; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service and celebration of Josephine's life will be held in the summer of 2013. I lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider prayers, or donations to Hopice of the Valley, 9435 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, AZ 85345-6479.

Devlin, David Martin

PALMYRA - On November 21, 2012 at the age of 71. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Iva Devlin; siblings, Joan, Robert Jr., Arnold, Bernard, Virginia, Alice and Eugene. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Helen; son, Martin; daughter, Suzanne (Jason) Haak; grandsons, Clayton and Holden Haak; brother James (Sue) Devlin, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 2 until 5PM at the McGuire/Hargrave & Murphy Funeral Home, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra, NY 14522. A service of remembrance will follow at 5PM in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Jude Tribute Program ( St. Jude Children's Hospital), PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

Anderson, Carolyn L.

WALWORTH - On November 18, 2012, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother Doris and brother Donald Kowalski. Survived by her husband Harry; brother Richard Kowalski; daughter Dalina Thomas and Sabrina (Jeffrey) Hart; son Cory Anderson; cherished grandchildren Tyler and Makayla Hart, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Lifetime Care for their wonderful service during this difficult time.
Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 4-7PM at the Payne & Murphy Funeral Home, 1040 Route 31, Macedon where her service will follow at 7PM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials in memory of Carolyn may be directed to the Wayne County Humane Association.

Triest Jr., Alfred Paul "Al"
Veteran of the United States Army

MACEDON - Peacefully on November 17, 2012, surrounded by his family, at the age of 75. Predeceased by his parents Alfred Sr., and Doris M. Triest; brother Arthur Triest. Survived by his wife of 43 years Babette "Betty" Triest; 3 sons Rick (Cheryl), Terry (Jean) and Paul (Karen) Triest; 3 grandchildren Christopher, Cory and Connor; special in-laws, Avis and Earl Martin, Vi and Mo Cape, Bill and Helen Hook and other special relatives (Deb, Brian, Melissa (Tony), Matthew and J.J.) and many close friends.
Al retired in 1995 after 38 years of service at Xerox. His term as President of the Worker's United was cut short by his battle with Merkel Cell Carcinoma; his fifth occurence with cancer. He was a fighter to the end.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 1-4PM at the Payne & Murphy Funeral Home, 1040 Route 31, Macedon where a service will be held at 4PM. Inurnment private at Riverside cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Al may be directed to Serenity House, 1278 Brace Road, Victor, NY 14564.

Blyth, John E.
Veteran of the United States Army; Korean Conflict

MACEDON / WALWORTH - Peacefully with his family by his side, on November 15, 2012, at the age of 81. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Joanna Jennings Blyth; 4 children, Geoff (Tammy) Blyth, Jennifer (Tom) Blyth-Schmandt, Jane (Doug Messara) Blyth, and Jim (Julie) Blyth; 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth Blyth, John Blyth Warren, Christopher Blyth, James Blyth Warren, Katherine Blyth Warren, Anna Schmandt, Henry Blyth and Meghan Schmandt, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
John wa born October 19, 1931 to the late Ray and Ruby Blyth. He started the 1st grade in Macedon with, among others, Joanna Jennings. After years of school and travel, John returned to Macedon to care for his ailing father. At that time, he rekindled his relationship with Joanna and they were married on August 24, 1963. John was a distinguished local and international attorney for fifty years. An adjunct professor at Cornell Law School, John was a revered mentor to local and international law students. John was a veteran of the United States Army and served with the counter intelligence agency. John was a proud member of the Democratic Party. An Eagle Scout, John was also a long time member of the Masonic Lodge. John was a past President of the Palmyra-Macedon School Board. John lived for his family. He was willing to sacrafice his own dreams for the life that he felt his children deserved. He was never happier than when he coule talk about the accomplishments and shenanigans of his children and grandchildren. He was infinitely proud of Joanna's involvement with local charitable organizations, especially the United Way and Girl Scouts.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the Payne & Murphy Funeral Home, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Masonic Service will be held at 7PM. A memorial service celebrating John's life will be offered on SATURDAY, November 24, 2012 at 11AM in the First Baptist Church, 58 Main Street (Route 31) in the Village of Macedon, NY 14502. Memorials in memory of John may be directed to Dollars for Scholars, Ruby Spaulding Blyth Memorial Scholarship, Palmyra-Macedon High School, 151 Hyde Parkway, Palmyra, NY 14522.

Rogalski, Esther Hilton

MACEDON / WALWORTH - On November 13, 2012 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Harlan and June Hilton and sister Nancy Hilton. Survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Paul Rogalski; children, Laura (Dan) Bogel, Ellen (Joe Sano) Tolleson, Paul (Josh) Whitmanand Robert Rogalski; grandchildren, JoAnna Tolleson, Victoria and Nathaniel Bogel, Bryce Whitman; sister, Barbara (Richard) Stalker; brother, Harlan (Robin) Hilton III; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Jim) Aman, Joan (Denny) Zimmer; uncle, Bernard (Marie) Hilton; step-mother, Lillian Winn Helfer Hilton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Esther was born on May 13, 1943 in Clifton Springs, NY. Esther graduated from Wayne Central schools and worked as a salesperson with Ames in Ontario. The family would like to express their gratitude to the many family, friends and caregivers for all their support. Memorials in memory of Esther may be directed to the Pines of Peace, 2378 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519.
There will be no prior calling. A celebration of Esther's life will be offered at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 50 Main Street (Route 31), Macedon on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 9AM. Interment will be private.

Moore, James, S. "Jim"
Veteran, US Navy, WW II

ONTARIO / CANANDAIGU - On November 13, 2012, suddenly, at the age of 86. Survived by his 3 children, Nancy Moore, Donald (Nancy Jimerson) and Alan (Ann) Moore; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer (Don) Schiffer, Melissa (Ray) Miller, Christie (Eric Barton) Moore, Vanessa (Dennis) Stevens, Jessica (Jamie) Learch, Amy (Nick Hugecz) Klee, Megan Klee, Garrett Moore, Wesley (Tamara) Moore, Laura Moore and Keith Moore; 13 great grandchildren; cousin, Clark R. Moore "Shifty"; other relatives and friends.
The son of the late Norris and Carrie Suydam Moore, Jim held a degree in electrical engineering from Clarkson University. Jim was born in Rochester and had lived in the Syracuse and Canandaigua areas for many years before moving to Ontario six years ago. Jim served in the United States Navy during WW II. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery service.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 5-8PM at the Murphy Funeral Home, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11AM at the Maple Grove cemetery, 63 Stark Street, Waterloo, NY 13165. Memorials in memory of Jim may be directed to the Veteran's Outreach Center, Inc., 459 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.

Bushey, Wilber E.

ONTARIO - On October 29, 2012 at the age of 79. Born on July 19, 1933 in Ellenburg, NY. Wilber is survived by his wife of 53 years, Laura; sons Edmond (Mary) and Ivan Bushey; granddaughter Sophrena Bushey; 5 special grandsons Christopher, Adam, James, Cameron and Jacob; brother Clarence (Cathy) Bushey; sister Berna Trumble; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wilber retired from the Farrell Corporation in Rochester, and had served in the United States Army.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, November 1st., from 6-8PM only, at the Murphy Funeral Home, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario. Wilber's funeral service will be at 10AM on Friday, November 2nd., in the funeral home. Interment will take place at Furnaceville cemetery. Memorials in memory of Wilber may be directed to either the DAV, or Wounded Warrior.

Bariga, Lisa L.

ONTARIO / WEBSTER / WILLIAMSON - On October 25, 2012 at age 54. Survived by two daughters Jessica and Sarah Bariga; parents James and Mary Etta Stedge; brother Stephen (Janette) Stedge; two nephews; special friend Jocelyn Zimmerman, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012, at 2PM in the Covenant Life Fellowship Church, 1574 Hennessey Road in Walworth. Memorials in memory of Lisa may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Rhinehardt, William Bradley "Bill"

FARMINGTON - Died on October 26, 2012. Predeceased by his daughter Michelle in 1996.
Survived by his loving family; wife of 44 years, Mary Ann; daughter, Kelly Collins; 2 grandchildren, Tempest Michael and Autumn Collins; other relatives and friends.
Bill proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1966-1968.
No prior calling. Friends and family are invited to gather for Bill's Memorial Service on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 10AM, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon. Eddy, William E. "Bill"

MACEDON - Died on December 23, 2012 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his wife, Virginia and son, Gary. Survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Robert) Bergeron and Vickie Patridge; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, brother Charles (Audrey) Eddy, many nieces and nephews.
Bill served his country and was retired from the US Navy. Locally, he worked and retired from Xerox and spent several years driving school bus for the Gananda Central School District.
Friends may visit on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 4-7PM at the Payne & Murphy Funeral Home, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502. A celebration of Bill's life will be offered on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 1PM at the 1st Baptist Church of Macedon, 58 Main Street, Macedon, NY 14502. Interment will take place in the Spring at Macedon Village cemetery where Bill will buried next to his wife Virginia. Memorials in memory of Bill may be directed to the church.

Augustine, Danny

PALMYRA - December 21, 2012 at age 57. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Augustine. Survived by his wife, Cindy Augustine; children, Cody Augustine, Kenny (Denise) Strand, & Sarah (Ken) Sinack; 3 grandchildren; mother Dorothy Augustine; brother David (Rosalie) Augustine; family and dear friends.

Dickinson, Margariet E. “Barnhart”

ONTARIO / MACEDON - Peacefully on December 19, 2012, at the age of 94, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husbands Floyd Barnhart and John Dickinson; 2 daughters Dorothy and Judy. Survived by her 3 sons, Butch, Chester (Jean) and Ray (Goldie) Barnhart; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; sister, Beverly (John) Lee.

PALMYRA - On December 18, 2012 at the age of 55. Beloved daughter of Bill and Madelyn Van Der Malle; loving sister of Debbie (Flavio Colon) Blazey and Sandy (Earl) Wagner; and dear friends.
A prayer service was held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11AM at Payne & Murphy Funeral Home. Those wishing may make a contribution to the Palmyra Volunteer Ambulance, 385 Prospect Drive, Palmyra, NY 14522 in Cheryl's memory.
