WALWORTH / FAIRPORT - On February 2, 2013 at the age of 94. Predeceased by his wife Geraldine Mishia Sorg and sister Marion Sorg Bachofer. Survived by his daughters; Kathy (Robert) Haelen and Kristine (George) Consiglio; grandchildren, Jennifer (Donald) Yance, Tracy (Christopher Winburn) Haelen, Lisa (Erik) Decker and Michael Consiglio; great grandchildren, Stella and Coltrane Yance, Azalea and Aubri Winburn and a great grandchild expected in April, 2013 (Parents Lisa and Erik Decker), sister-in-law Helen Munier and brother-in-law Paul Mishia, several nieces and nephews.
Jim was a Sergeant of the USMC and vteran of WWII, who had the honor and privilege of serving President Roosevelt while stationed at the White House.
Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 4-8PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 9AM at Saint Katharine Drexel Parish in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 50 Main Street, Macedon. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations celebrating the life of Jim may be directed to your favorite charity.

McQuade, Janet

ONTARIO - Age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2013, after a valiant fight and much celebrated year 2012. Janet was born on July 21, 1949 in Silver Springs, NY. She loved her family and is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ray; and two daughters, Meghan and Allison.
Janet faithfully cared for family and friends, throughout the years, with her dlicious cooking, baking, sewing and gardenting. Janet had a contagious thirst for knowledge and for books. Janet's zest for life took her all around the globe seeking new experiences, cultures and sights.
Friends are invited to call on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 5-9PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario. Services and interment private. Memorials in memory of Janet may be directed to the Town of Ontario Public Library. Harnish, Marjorie S.

FARMINGTON - On January 29, 2013 at age 95. Predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Ralph F. Harnish; brother Gardner Sheldon; sister Miriam Padgham both of Farmington. Survived by her son Daniel (Marlene) Harnish of Macedon; granddaughter, Katie L. Harnish of Rochester; brother Floyd Sheldon of Farmington; and many loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Marjorie's life will be announced at a laer date. Friends and family may contribute to the Farmington Friends Church, Farmington, NY.

Jablonski, Catherine E.

WALWORTH - On Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the age of 75. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Felecia Ancipink Jablonski; brothers, Henry, Edward and Eugene Jablonski. Survived by her many friends. Friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 9-11AM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 123 East Jackosn St., Palmyra where a service will follow at 11AM. Interment private. Memorials in memory of Catherine may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
NOTE: Since the weather on the 9th of February did not allow for family and friends to travel in from out of the area, the service for Catherine will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Calling from 9-11AM at the funeral home, followed by a service with Father William Laird officiating. Interment private.

ROCHESTER - On Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the age of 80. Arthur is survived by his sisters Elva (Frank) Smith, Ruth (Fred) Kittelberger, Mary (Gerald) Beh, Martha (Robert) Ney, Sandra (Robert) Brown, and Sharon (Lee) Weaver; many nieces and nephews.

Lancy, Harold A.

ONTARIO - Peacefully on January 21, 2013 at age 97. Survived by his wife of 71 years, Virginia; sons David and Paul; daughters-in-law Judie and Rita; four grandchildren, Marc, Michelle, Karla and Nicole; four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1PM, Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Webster Rural cemetery, Ridge road, Webster, NY. following the graveside services, friends and family are invited to come together at the Elks Lodge at 1066 Jackson Road., Webster. Additionally, family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, February 9th at 3PM at Norton's Pub, 1730 N. Goodman St. to celebrate Harold's life.

Price, Phyllis A.

MACEDON - passed away on Saturday August 24, 2013 at age 62. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Corey) Lyons; grandchildren, Anthony, Gage, and Cami; 5 loving brothers; very best friends, G.T. Girls; Guarding Angel, Sander Stern; dog, Shelby; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Services are held at the convenience of the family.

Friend, Edward M. “Eddie”

WILLIAMSON / MEDFORD, MA - Wednesday August 21, 2013 at age 88. He was predeceased by his son, Henry “Butch” Friend; sister, Helen Lohnes. A beloved husband of 62 years to Florence Friend; father to Pam (David) Drolet of Palm Coast, FL, Diane (Arthur) Pitari of Medford, MA, and Tammy (Todd) LaBarr of Williamson, NY; grandfather to Gerard and Kerri Pitari, Tenille and Mark Hudkins, Eric and Melissa Pitari, Lori (Scott) Stone, Henry Friend, Cameron, Alyson, and Ryan LaBarr; great grandfather to Taylor, Justin, Devin, Rhyan, Bailey, Bobby D’Agastino, Jennifer, Jayme, and Julia Stone, Brady Friend; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Eddie served in the United States Army and courageously fought in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post 1012 in Medford, MA and Williamson American Legion. Eddie retired from Teamsters Local 25 Truck Drivers Union.
Eddie’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday (August 26) at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, 5823 Walworth-Ontario Road, Ontario, NY. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Honor Flight (Rochester) in Eddie’s memory.

Buyck, Mary Helen

MACEDON - Tuesday August 20, 2013 at age 71, surrounded by her family. Mary Helen was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Bernice Rearson. She is survived by her children, Tim (Leigh Ann) Buyck, Karen (Jim) Grabowski, Tracey (Jim) Adams, and Kevin Buyck; grandchildren, Andrew, Bryan, Corey, Devon, and Lily Buyck, AJ and Ryan Grabowski, Kelley and Kristin Adams, Marissa, Jenna, and Colin Buyck; siblings, Jeanne Weeks, Kathy (Jim) Clark, John (Carol) Rearson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was a dedicated teacher at Marion and Webster school districts for many years.
Friends are invited to join the family Friday (August 23) from 4-8 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday (August 24) at 9 AM at Church of the Assumption, 20 East Avenue, Fairport, NY. Interment will be in St. Anne’s cemetery, Palmyra, NY. Crowley, Catherine Larkin "Kay"

MACEDON - Peacefully entered into rest on August 15, 2013, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her loving husband, Jerry. Kay is survived by her daughters, Eileen Crowley of Rochester, Anne (Jack) Kasperski and Karen (David) Maeder, both of Fairport; grandchildren, Patricia (Daniel) James, Colleen, Kevin (Shannon) Maeder, Joshua, Kelly and Bridgit Kasperski; and beloved great-grandson, Henry James. Kay is also survived by her sister-in-law, Katherine Mark; her niece, Nora (Stanley) Vrooman, grand-nephew, Shawn Anderson; many friends; and her beloved pug, Irish.
A special thank you goes out to the staff at Pines of Peace Comfort Care Home in Ontario, NY, along with those who assisted in her care at both Highland Hospital and FF Thomposn Hospital.
Kay was guided, throughout her life, by her faith and involvement with the Roman Catholic Church. She was very proud of her Irish heritage. Kay had a special zest for life that will be remembered by her family. Kay was quick witted and she guided her family through her personal knowledge and unconditional love. Kay will best be remembered for her love of all creatures, big and small, her family and God.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Monday, August 19, 2013 from 4-7PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon. Moyer, Wayne B. II "Melon"

MANCHESTER - Peacefully on August 15, 2013 surrounded by his loving family, just 3 days shy of his 60th birthday. Wayne was predeceased by his parents Wayne and Patricia Moyer. He is survived by his children; Wayne B. Moyer III, Joshua (Jamie) Moyer, Melissa ( Nicholas) Buttaccio and Keenan A. Moyer; grandchildren, Mason, Cameron, Emma, Cecelia and Dominic; siblings, Sue (Bob) Hines, Del (Tom) Mincer, Deborah Shannon, Kimberly (Donald) Brown, Tim Moyer and Lisa (George) Schinsing; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
No prior calling. A celebration of Wayne's life will be offered on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11AM in the Manchester United Methodist Church, 12 State Street, Manchester. Private burial in Brookside cemetery. Marlowe, Bettylou A.

PALMYRA - August 13, 2013 at 85 years. Predeceased by her husband, Warren; brother Charles and his wife Marlene. She is survived by “grandson” Michael Gonsenhauser; sister, Judith (Lambert) Jacobsmeier; niece Laura (Paul) Battaglia; nephews, Matthew and Steven (Ann) Jacobsmeier; cousin, Cathy (Mark) Gonsenhauser.
Services for Bettylou will be private. Donations may be made to House of John (Clifton Springs) or Sands Cancer Center (Canandaigua) in Bettylou’s memory.

Lewis, Robert R. “Bob”

WEBSTER - Bob died peacefully on August 6, 2013 at age 81, enveloped by love and faith. Bob was born on August 20, 1932 in Rochester, New York. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Hazel Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia; sons, David (Besty) and Stephen; daughter, Lisa (Robert) Rathke; grandsons, Andrew and Justin Lewis and Patrick Rathke. Bob was a member of the Chorus of the Genesee and the Barbershop Harmony Society for over 25 years. For the past 20 years he spent summers at Chautauqua Institution where he was a member of the Motet Choir and the Sunday Choir. Woodworking, singing and traveling the world added pleasure and wonderment to his life. Along with his wife, Marcia, he was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word. Married for 30 years, Bob and Marcia enjoyed a life filled with love for each other and those they met all over the world. His family is so grateful to the 5th floor doctors and nurses at Rochester General Hospital, who gave compassionate care to Bob as he battled lung cancer, T.B., and pneumonia.
A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM, at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word, 597 East Ave., Rochester, NY, at the corner of Goodman St. and East Ave. To honor Bob’s life reach out and touch someone’s life to make a difference in our world. This is what Bob did in his life and what he hopes you will do in yours.

Henning, Kenneth W.

MACEDON - Peacefully on August 9, 2013 at the age of 82. Ken was born in Macedon in 1931 the son of the late Alvin and Hazel (Mott-Crocker) Henning. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary; children, Bill (Kathy) Henning, Jane (Vince Hegarty) Henning and James (Marcia) Henning; grandchildren, Matt (Rebecca), Lindsey, Nick (Autumn), Caitlin (Eric) and Norah; great grandchildren, Kirk and Connor; brother, Roger Henning; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
No prior calling. Friends and family are invited to gather, on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Macedon Center Fire Hall, 2481 Canandaigua Road (1/4 mile North of Route 31F Macedon Center Road) beginning at 2PM for a celebration of Mr. Henning's life. Interment will be held privately at the Macedon Center cemetery. Memorials in his memory may be directed to the Macedon Food Pantry, c/o St. Katharine Drexel Parrish at St. Patrick's Church, 52 Main Street, Macedon, NY 14502, or a charity of choice.

Kaper, Winifred

PENFIELD - After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Win died peacefully at home on August 7th. She had a passion for gardening, dancing, playing cards and being with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard and brother, Kenneth Frazer. Survived by her brother, James (Evelyn) Bushwood; niece, Sally (Frank) Ross; nephews, Kenneth Frazer, Thomas and Timothy (Rhonda) Bushwood; grandnieces, Megan Ross, Amanda and Ashley Bushwood; special friends, Thomas (Barbara) Brandisi and family; sisters-in-law, Harriet Pulcini and Jeanette Severt; brother-in-law, Albert Kaper; many friends and members of Penfield Senior Citizen.
Friends are invited to join the family Sunday August 11th, from 1-4 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY. ONTARIO - passed away on Tuesday August 6, 2013 at age 76. Albert was predeceased by his brothers, Theodore, Victor, Earl, and Richard; sisters, Lucille, Dorothy, and Genevive. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Marilyn Lucas; step-son, Brian DeFisher; granddaughter, Amanda (Jake) Carlson; sister, Alberta Owings; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Friends are invited to join the family Saturday August 10, from 1-3 PM & 4:30-7:00 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY, where his prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. Redcreek / McAllen, TX - passed away August 7, 2013 at age 91. Walter is survived by his daughter, Mary Ellen Miller; sons, William R. (Sharon) DeMarse and David DeMarse; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
