Miles, Rose Marie (Kokinda)

MACEDON / EAST ROCHESTER - Peacefully on September 7, 2013 at the age of 77. Predeceased by her husband Harold L. Miles; brothers Thomas, George, Joseph, Stephen, John, and Theodore; sisters, Frances, Agatha, Rita and Eleanor; survived by her son Jeffrey D. Kokinda of Macedon; sister Marion Salko of Bloomsburg, PA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Rose will be sadly missed by her dogs Molly and Kuya.
Rose retired from the Schlegel Corporation in May of 2001. Rose was loved by many of her acts of kindness and her great sense of humor.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 10-11AM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon where a service will follow at 11AM. Inurnment will follow at Macedon Village cemetery. Memorials in memory of Rose may be directed to the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.

WALWORTH - Peacefully on September 6, 2013 at the age of 79. Predeceased by siblings, Barbara Ayers, Ronald and John Barnard. Survived by her husband of 54 years, Lee; children, Douglas (Diane) Weeks and Debra (Joseph) Dammert; granddaughter, Alicia (Noel) Wallace; sister, Karen (Ange) Milazzo; brothers, Clayton (Audrey) Jr., Myron (Sandy) and Bruce (Beth) Barnard; sister-in-law, Linda Barnard; brother-in-law Ronald Ayers, many dear nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 12-2 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon; where a service will be offered at 2PM. Interment private. Memorials in memory of Bev may be made to your local first responders.

Bassett, David C.

PALMYRA - On Monday, September 2, 2013 at the age of 68. David was predeceased by his mother and father, Mary and Forrest Bassett. He is survived by his sister, Carol (Evert) Vander Molen; wife of 37 years, Kathleen Bassett; daughters, Amy Bassett and Michelle (Matt) Rohr; step-daughters, Mary (Bob) DePew and Sally (Mark) Deming; grandchildren Robbie, Holie, Marshall and Mitchell; step-grandchildren, Shelby and Erika; nephews, Jim and Jeff; niece, Pam. David enjoyed woodworking and was a carpenter all of his life. He was a member of the Palmyra Masonic Lodge for many years, where in 1978 he became a Mastor Mason. David belonged to the Palmyra Methodist Church where he was a member for 52 years.
Friends are invited to join the family on Thursday, September 5, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Murphy Funeral a& Cremation Chapels, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, NY, where a masonic service will be held at 6:30PM. David's funeral service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 10AM at the Palmyra United Methodist Church, 109 Church Street, Palmyra, NY followed by interment at East Palmyra cemetery.

Wellman, Clarence G. “Kelly”

WALWORTH - On August 30, 2013 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wife Helen; sister Marion Payne and his brother Roger Wellman. Survived by son C. John; daughters, Barbara (Peter) Major, Loretta (Michael) Cortash and Michaelle (Michael) Orvek; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren; 2 sisters Violet (Roland) Nielsen and Elsie (Norman) Rock, nieces and nephews.
Kelly served in the United States Army during WW II and was employed as a tool and dye maker for both Remington Rand and Xerox.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 2-5PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31 in Macedon. A celebration of Kelly’s life will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 11AM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 77 Country Corner Lane, Fairport. Interment will follow, with military honors, at Marion cemetery. Memorials in memory of Kelly may be directed to the Parkinson Foundation of Greater Rochester, PO Box 23204, Rochester, NY 14692, or the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047.

Hake, Charlotte C. (Klinger)

WALWORTH - Monday, August 26, 2013 at age 81. Charlotte was predeceased by her first husband, Merlen E. Klinger; mother and father, Cleo and Frank Marvin; sisters, Isabella Jones and Margaret DePartie. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hunt; granddaughters, Sandra (Brian) Mele, Jeanette (EJ) Arnold, and Sherry (Brendan) Wendt; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Jessie (Glenn) Pailthrope; brothers, Elliott (Roseanne) Marvin and Charles (Patricia) Marvin; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and all of the staff at Hildebrandt Hospice and Rochester General Hospital, for their devoted care.
Her graveside service will be held Friday (August 30) at 11:30 AM at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY, (Please meet at main gate). Please consider donations to Hildebrandt Hospice, 2652 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626, in Charlotte’s memory.

ONTARIO - Died on April 11, 2003 in Sparta, NJ at the age of 95. She is survived by son John Tabone of Williamson, daughter Carmela Markham of Sparta NJ; brother Fred Loquasto of Northampton PA; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband Tony and by sons John and Louis. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 8:30 - 10:30 am at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Road Ontario. At 11 am there will be a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Mary's of the Lake Church, Walworth Road Ontario, where a reception will be held at the Church Parish Center immediately following. ONTARIO - Died April 8, 2003 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her husbands Clarence Rose and Leo Gutmann. He is survived by his wife Maryalice, his children, Lesley, Heather, Erick, Kyle, Michael, Elisabeth, Andrew, Bryan, Richard and Joel; his parents, Carl (Lynn) Jenkins and Evelyn Martin; sister, Connie (Doug) Kyle; brother, Charles (Kristi) Jenkins as well as several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews. Coleman, Bertha (Bowen)

ONTARIO - Was welcomed into heaven on April 2, 2003. Born in Niagara Falls NY on April 14, 1921. She had lived in Ontario for 58 years prior to moving to Newark in 2001. Bertha had worked in quality control at Xerox and then became a security officer for Doyle Security. She loved bingo and trips to nearby casinos.Bertha was predeceased by her loving father Chester Bowen and infant son John Coleman. Survived by sons Patrick and Joseph of Rochester and Michael of Delaware; daughter Marie Austin of Bridgeport CT; grandchildren Jeff and Kim Coleman, Timothy and Daniel Austin and Tricia Browder; great-grandchildren Alexander and Michael Austin, Kayla Coleman, Abigail Nelson and Timothy Browder. Family and friends are invited to call Saturday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, where her funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling. Memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to the Salvation Army.
