Mike is survived by his wife TinaLouise (Ruffalo) Lefever; children Samantha, Michael II and Adrianna "Goose"; his father and step-mother James (Judi) Lefever; mother-in-law Louise Ruffalo; brother James Lefever, sister Jeanette D'Piazza both of North Carolina, Lorie (David) Peck, Lisa Kennett and Tammy Lefever; brother and sisters-in-law Samuel (Cindy) Ruffalo, Sandra Ruffalo; grandmother Mary Lefever; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Mike was predeceased by his mother Judy Nussbaumer in 1995. Visitation will be Monday (Aug 2nd) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at McGUIRE/HARGRAVE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. from St. Anne's Church in Palmyra, interment will follow at St. Anne's cemetery. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers should be directed to the Lefever Children Education Fund, c/o HSBC Bank, 100 Church Street, Newark, NY 14513.

Hoffman, Monica (Kress)

Died peacefully on July 25, 2004, at age 89. Predeceased by her husband, Bernard and son-in-law, Donald Baxter. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Lou (Harold) Gorman, Ann (Charles) Schmitt, Joan (John) Paquette. Grandchildren, Lisa (Ken) Miller, Eric (Christina) Gorman, Kristine (Michael) Murphy, Kimberly(Michael) Cahill, Monique (Ian) Gaglio, Benjamin Paquette, Jacob Paquette. Shaffer, Ruth W.

July 18, 2004 at age 89. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ivan A. Shaffer; daughter Laurie (William) Keller; grandchildren, Cara (Christopher) Casanzio, Julie Keller, fiance Justin Blue, Gregory Keller; sister Betty (Gilbert) Nagel; sister-in-law Bernice Parker; many friends at the Legacy At Willow Pond. Predeceased by her brother Alton J. Parker. As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend, Ruth brought love & kindness into the lives of all who knew her. She will be truly missed. O’ Connor, Harold C.

ONTARIO - Went home to be with the Lord after struggling with cancer on July 13, 2004 at age 56. He is survived by his wife of 31 yrs, Elaine; children, Barbara (Scott) Munksgard, Janet (Ed) Montgomery, Amy O’Connor (John Wall), Patrick O’Connor, Holly O’Connor; granddaughter Morgan; brother Francis (Sharon) O’Connor; sisters Marguerite (Frank) Duesel, Beth (Gerard) Mahon, Regina (Steve) Ferguson, Kathy (Jack) Holland; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family & friends. Harold worked for the Town of Ontario Highway Dept., & was active with Ontario Volunteer Emergency Squad, Wayne Co. EMS Advisory Board, Finger Lakes EMS Council, & member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Church. All are invited to call Thursday 6-9 p.m. at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Ontario. Burial Calvary cemetery. WALWORTH - Went to be with the Angels on July 12, 2004 at age 82. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Jim; children Gayle (Bill) Burnett, Jim (Robin) Bauerschmidt; grandchildren Beau, Chad Bauerschmidt, April Adams, Katie Burnett; sister Mona Timmerman; several nieces, nephews and close friends. WALWORTH - Died on July 11, 2004 at age 64. Predeceased by his son Ray; survived by his daughter Debra (Scott) Drexler; grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Scott; sister, Joyce (Jerry) Palmigiano; nieces, Brenda Palmigiano, Lisa (David) Tuccio. El was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Friends are invited to attend his memorial service 1 p.m. Thursday at Webster Assembly of God Church, 708 Hard Rd., Webster. Gates, Elizabeth Jane Fox

ONTARIO - Born in Rose, NY, November 28, 1912, died peacefully, July 10, 2004, at age 91. Daughter of Nelton and Leora Jeffers Fox. She married Luther Harris Gates, July 2, 1937. Jane is a graduate of Geneseo State Teacher's College, she taught for 33 years, 22 of which were at the Sodus Elementary School. A member of North Ontario United Methodist Church for almost 70 years, she was an active member of its Nurture Committee for many of them. She was also a member of the NYS Retired Teacher's Assoc., the Landmark Society of Western NY and the Rochester Civic Garden Club. After retirement, Jane became a full time gardener, spending her happiest times in her garden which she called her "heaven on earth". It was a gift from God. Jane is predeceased by her husband Luther, her only child Roxean Gates Bohn, two sisters, Jeanette Kise and Doris Walters, two brothers, Raymond "Bill" Fox and Howard "Mike" Fox. She is survived by her son-in-law, Norm Bohn; grandchildren, Christopher (Kim) Bohn of Denver, CO, Jessica Bohn of New York City; brother, Charles Fox of Rose; brother-in-law, Don Walters of Clifton Springs; sisters-in-law, Jean Bedford and Ruth Eaton of Ontario; many nieces & nephews. Visitation Wednesday 12-2 p.m. at North Ontario United Methodist Church, followed by her Funeral Service at 2PM. Interment Furnaceville cemetery. Rahn, Dorothy N.

ONTARIO - passed away Wednesday July 6th at age 82. Formerly of Chili, she is survived by her children Joanne (David) Cansdale and Edwin Rahn (Kayoko Rahn); grandchildren Michele (Thomas) Kernan, Kimberly (Beau) Garrity, Emi Rahn and Kenji Rahn; great grandchildren Kaitlin, Erin, Grayson and Nathan; sister Thelma Freeman; sisters-in-law Una Hahn, Helenjean (Hercules) Platts; brother-in-law Leslie Rahn; several nieces, nephews and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Edwin Rahn on March 17, 1993. Tuesday August 10, 2004. Formerly of Buffalo NY. Predeceased by parents, Walter and Dorothy Butler. She is survived by her son Michael (Sharyn) Leahy of Walworth, daughter Sharon (Chris) Miller of Oregon, grandchildren Allison and Melissa Leahy, and her dear cousin Eleanor Glaesser of Buffalo. Dorothy’s warm, sparkling blue eyes and her talents for drawing, painting and poetry writing will be missed. The family thanks the kind and caring staff of Independent Living for Seniors (ILS) for their wonderful support and love for Dorothy. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan; 7 children, Doreen (Robert) Landry, John (Linda) Blind, Debra Blind, Kenneth (Laura) Blind, Donna (Anthony) Hurley, Diane (Steve) Latragna, Lisa (Shawn) Reese; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother Richard (Billie) Blind; sister Arline Seen; sisters & brothers-in-law, Doris Bailey, Diane (Robert) Mitchell, Theresa Blind; several nieces & nephews; & 2 individuals who are considered members of the family, Timothy (Betty) Sheldon & Tammy Brusso. Mr. Blind retired from Kodak after 34 years, where the majority of his time was spent as Supervisor of Employee Benefits & Financial Plans. WALWORTH - Pastor Thomas Eugene Rose went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2004. He is survived by his wife Gayle (Crane) Rose, daughter Cyndi (Gary) VanKouwenberg, sons Gary (Michelle) Rose, Shawn (Kate) Rose, Timothy (Nancy) Rose; 10 grandchildren; brother Michael Rose and his mother-in-law Ruby Crane.
Tom was Pastor of the Grace Fellowship Church for the past 20 years, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. McGuire, Donald J.

PALMYRA - passed away peacefully on Thursday September 16, 2004 at the age of 81. Don is survived by his children George (Melissa) McGuire, Pat (Ron) Nortz and Margaret McGuire; grandchildren Molly McGuire, Jon and Kate Nortz, Nathan McGuire. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2001. Don was a World War II Army Air Corp Veteran, and a 58-year member of the James R. Hickey American Legion Post #120 in Palmyra.
