Kevin was a navy veteran serving in Pearl Harbor, HI for 4 years & most recently employed by Pliant Corp. MACEDON CENTER: Unexpectedly, on Saturday, September 11, 2004, at age 24. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Douglas & Linda Longyear; mother & stepfather, Sherralyn Longyear & William Smith; brothers, Scott & Ryan Longyear, Billy Smith; and sister, Angel Smith; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins & friends. Bavis, Pamela Lee (Teeter)

WALWORTH - Went to be with her Lord on September 10, 2004 on her 38th Wedding Anniversary. Survived by husband Eugene Bavis, daughter Angela (Scott) Breci, Irmo, SC, son Captain Jeffrey (Lara) Bavis, Fayetteville, NC, grandchildren Matthew & Emma Bavis & Luke Breci, parents Kelsey & Viola Teetor, Canandaigua, NY, siblings Larry (Janet) Teeter, Pasadena, MD, Richard (Joy) Teeter, Wilmington, NC, & Rebecca (Larry) Gamba, Canandaigua, NY. Pam graduated in 1965 from Pal-Mac and took a job in Washington with the FBI. Later she returned home and worked at various secretarial jobs until her children were born. She became a cosmetologist and ran a shop from her home for a few years. In 1979 she became a real estate salesperson and then a broker. Later she worked for Paul Rubery, Attorney until she and Gene opened Walworth Washland. In 1997 she returned to work for Paul Rubery and remained there working primarily on real estate transactions until she was diagnosed with cancer in December, 2002. She has been a Cub Scout Den Leader, Troop Committee member, and District Committee member in Scouting. She was a charter/life member of the Walworth Historical Society. As a member of the Walworth Second Baptist Church she has served as a Trustee and Church Clerk. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 19 at 3:00 p.m. at the Walworth Second Baptist Church followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice. Pam & Gene favor the Pines of Peace, Walworth Second Baptist Church, Walworth Historical Society, Finger Lakes Council Boy Scouts of America, Finger Lakes Trail Conference, or Genesee Region Home Care/Hospice. PALMYRA - passed away Thursday, September 9, 2004 at age 79. Betty was predeceased by her husband Richard Vienna; sister Marie Pelletier; brother Rev. Thomas O'Keefe. MACEDON - passed away Friday August 27, 2004 at age 93. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth on March 25, 2000. Roy is survived by his children Barbara (James) Kahle, Mark (Patricia) Welker, William (Patricia) Welker and Steven Kelly; grandchildren Craig (Candida) Welker, Teresa (John) Strong, Kim (Mike) Denison, April Kahle, June (James) Shephard, Coral (Mark) Pratt, Wendy (Greg) VanLaeken, Rachel Welker and Audrey Welker; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; his sister Florence Schultz; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. PALMYRA - Born April 2, 1901, in Hogansburg, NY, died peacefully August 26, 2004, in Lyons, NY. Predeceased by her husband, Mitchell, and daughter, Betty. Elizabeth leaves two sons, Robert (Henrietta) Kelley of Livonia and Bernard (Linda) Kelly of Colorado; grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Elizabeth will lie in state at St. Anne's Church, 136 Church Street, Palmyra, where friends may call Monday (August 30th) from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anne's, interment 2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge cemetery, S. Hey, Elsie M. (Faas)

GORHAM/PALMYRA - passed away Wednesday August 18, 2004 at age 83. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Hey. Elsie is survived by her brother Chester (Anne) Faas of Palmyra, sister-in-law Irene Stetzel of Stanley, brother-in-law Wilson (Miriam) Hey of Zepherhills FL, several nephews, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at McGUIRE/HARGRAVE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 123 East Jackson Street Palmyra. VanSanford, Gladys M.

MACEDON - Peacefully entered the Lord's Home on August 15, 2004 at age 86. Gladys is preceded in death by her husband Melvin, daughter Barbara Anderson, and son Bruce VanSanford. She is survived by her daughter Betty A. Chapple of Macedon; grandchildren Sami (Richard) LaRoche of Cocoa FL, Todd Chapple of Hornell, Dr. Charles (Ann) Chapple of S. Elgin IL, Army Major James (Sarah) Chapple of Stafford VA; sisters Hazel Hanley of Syracuse, Lois Smith of Port Byron and Lucy Andrews of Caldwell ID; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. DeAngelo, Frank P.

PALMYRA - A lifelong resident of Palmyra, died on August 15, 2004 at age 87. He is survived by his wife Katherine; sons, Paul DeAngelo, Thomas (Caglayan) DeAngelo; many nieces & nephews. Frank was a veteran of both WWII and Korea, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a Garlock employee, member of the Oldtimer's Club and actively involved in the Boy Scouts throughout his life. Reeves, Richard A.

ONTARIO - passed away Saturday November 20, 2004, at age 71 following a courageous battle with cancer. Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Marlene (Benham); precious daughter Stacey Virginia (Paul William) Boyd Sr. of Walworth; special grandchildren Samantha Virginia and Paul William Boyd Jr.; brothers Vernon (Janet) Reeves of AZ, William Reeves of Palmyra; sister Gloria Jean Freer of Walworth; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dick was predeceased by his parents Floyd and Marguerite Reeves, and by brother-in-law Charles Freer. Dick was the founder of Dick’s Tropical Fish in Union Hill, as well as an Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict. Wood, Edward W.

ONTARIO - November 17, 2004 at age 84. Ed is survived by his wife Anne; his children Liz (John) Albright and Michael Wood of Ontario, Kathy (Dick) LaManna and Patrick Wood of Florida; six grandchildren; one great grandson; sister Alice Wheatley. Ed was a World War II Army Veteran. He was discharged in 1945 at the rank of Master Sergeant. He had received the American Defense Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal. Ed was a Life Member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, and was a Past Commander of Post 9427 in Fairfield, Conn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's of the Lake Church. Interment with military honors at Calvary cemetery, Ontario. Harnish, Ralph F.

FARMINGTON - Died Saturday November 6, 2004 at the age of 90. Ralph is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie (Sheldon) Harnish; son Daniel (Marlene) Harnish; granddaughters Katie Lynn and Tracy Lee Harnish; brothers Roger (Mary), Harold (Dottie) and Donald Harnish. Ralph was a retired CPA, and a World War II Army veteran. He enlisted in 1940, and was discharged in 1946 at the rank of Captain. He served in Europe, and was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. A Memorial Service celebrating Ralph's life, will be Sunday November 14th at 2:00 p.m., from the Farmington Friends Church. A reception for family and friends will follow.
