Francis P. Mulholland, 93, of Lakeview Manor, Indianapolis, Ind., died Monday. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he lived in Syracuse before moving to Indianapolis 13 years ago. He graduated from Public School Number 24 in Buffalo, Buffalo Technical School, the Normal College of the North American Gymnastic Union in Indianapolis and Syracuse University. He retired in 1971 after 42 years as a physical education teacher for the Syracuse city school district. He had coached football and track at Nottingham High School. He was a communicant of the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, former president of the Syracuse Teachers Association, former member of the Syracuse University Club and the New York Teachers Association. His first wife, the former Joy Ryan, died in 1977.Survivor: His wife of 13 years, the former Frances LaRosa. Services: 9:45 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Chapel of the Church of the Most Holy Rosary. David C. Paddock

David C. Paddock, 32, of Wyandotte, Mich., died Tuesday in a drowning accident. Born in Syracuse, he lived in Kirkville 20 years before moving away in 1993. He graduated from East Syracuse-Minoa High School and Alfred University and received a master's degree from University of Detroit. He was an engineer for Ford Motor Co. in Detroit for nine years.Survivors: His parents, Kenneth and Esther Paddock of Boonville; two sisters, Cindy Paddock of Skaneateles and Rosemary Paddock of Bethel, Vt.; a brother, Kenneth Jr. of Kirkville. Services and burial: Will be in Boonville. Mills Funeral Home, Boonville, has arrangements.

John V. Patricia

John V. Patricia, 83, of 245 North St., Oneida, died Wednesday at the Oneida Healthcare Center Extended Care Facility. Born in Oneida, he graduated from Oneida High School. He was employed with the Department of Defense as a logistician with the Air Force. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Oneida and Knights of Columbus E. Bart Hanifin Council 473.Survivors: His wife of 53 years, the former Eileen McNichol; two daughters, Mary E. Patricia of Oneida and Suzanne Salvatore of Roswell, Ga.; four sons, John of Payson, Ariz., Kevin of Clifton Park, J. Michael of Oneida Castle and Daniel J. of Oneida; two sisters, Louise Varanese and Josephine Taber, both of Oneida; nine grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Campbell-Dean Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Oneida. Creola Phillips-Hamilton, 48, of 273 Genesee Park Drive, Syracuse, died Saturday. Born in Harlem, she graduated from Roosevelt High School. She was a homemaker.Survivors: Her husband, Marvin-Clay; three daughters, Olivia Phillips of  South Carolina, Amanda Phillips of Colorado and Chantily Hamilton of Syracuse; five sons, Corey Phillips Sr., Paul and Cleo Hamilton, all of Syracuse, and Andre and Dennis West, both of the Bronx; her father, Grover Austin Sr. of Manhattan; her mother, Thelma Austin of Syracuse; three sisters, Mary Austin Perez of the Bronx and Ava and April Austin, both of Manhattan; nine brothers, Tyrone Austin of Syracuse, Darrel, Roy and Sean Austin, all of the Bronx, Worless Austin, Grover Austin Jr. and Grover Austin II, all of Manhattan; Kevin Austin of Queens, and William Austin of Alabama; two grandchildren. Terrie L. Powell

Terrie L. Chmiel Powell, 50, of Autumn Run Trail, East Syracuse, died Monday. Born in  Johnson City, she graduated from  Johnson City High School. She was a secretary for the Federal Aviation Administration and had been office manager at Pandrol  Jackson for 18 years.Survivors: Her husband of 32 years, Dennis; three daughters, Karen and Valerie Powell, both of East Syracuse, and Lisa M. Powell of Minoa; a son, Michael of East Syracuse; her mother, Lucy Chmiel of  Johnson City; a sister, Rita Martin of  Johnson City; a brother, Richard Chmiel of  Johnson City; two grandchildren. Services: 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Eaton-Tubbs-Schepp Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial, Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Robert T. Sanford

Robert T. Sanford, 91, of 1465 Lemoy Road, Kirkville, died Tuesday. Born in East Syracuse, he lived in the Kirkville area 36 years. He retired in 1968 as a sheet metal worker in the Syracuse area after 25 years. He was a member of William Cain American Legion Post 1287 in Chittenango and an associate member of the North Chittenango Volunteer Fire Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Ruth, died in 1998.Survivors: A daughter, Audrey Nagy of Chittenango; two sons, Robert M. of Chittenango and Donald L. of Bradenton, Fla.; a brother, Alfred of Lady Lake, Fla.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Marietta Sicari, 89, of Syracuse, died Tuesday at the Jewish Home of CNY. She was born in Italy and moved to Syracuse in 1932. She retired in 1974 after 30 years as a seamstress for Learbury Clothing Co. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. Her husband, Anthony, died in 1971.Survivors: A daughter, Elizabeth Saya of DeWitt; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Services: 9 a.m. Friday in Blessed Sacrament Church. Richard Syslo, 44, of West Monroe died Tuesday. He was born in Syracuse and lived in West Monroe most of his life. He was a machine operator for eight years and worked for Nash Machine in Syracuse for five years. He was Navy veteran. His father, Robert P., died in 1965.Survivors: Two daughters, Savannah and Janelle Syslo, both of Florida; his mother and stepfather, Lois M.
