Survived by her children, Katherine (Ed) Aman, Amelia Morrisey, Martha (Ian) Dougal, Thomas (Tami) Kenyon, J. Donald (Barbara) Kenyon, Juanita Barnes, Joseph (Joyce) Kenyon, Dale Kenyon; grandchildren, Andy, Eric (Heather), Julia, Jerald Aman, Michelle Morrisey, Teresa (Laurent) Pare, Mellissa, Shawn Walkley, Sarah Kenyon; many step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Her family wishes to thank the staff at the Wayne County Nursing Home for their loving care & support over the last 5 years. No calling hours will be held. PALMYRA - Peacefully on August 24, 2007. Predeceased by his wife Joan in 2002 & son Dominic. Survived by son Phil (Sharon) Marrella; daughter Ann (Ron) Gostomski; brother Basil (Pat) Marrella; special cousin Vincent (Carol) Buondonno; 7 grandchildren, Jack, Sarah, Jacob, Joshua, Susie, Cullen & Burke; many nieces, nephews & friends. Dominic was a retired Administrator with the Palmyra-Macedon School District & was active in many community organizations including the Lions Club. Friends may call on Sunday, August 26, 2007 from 2-5PM at the McGUIRE/HARGRAVE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 123 East Jackson St, Palmyra. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 11AM in St. Anne’s Church, 136 Church St, Palmyra. Interment St. Anne’s cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.

Short, Geraldine F.

PALMYRA / OGDENSBURG: Age 91, died on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Wayne County Nursing Home, Lyons, NY where she had resided for the past six years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Holly and David Jankowski of Palmyra; grandsons Michael Jankowski of Macedon and Mark and Deirdre Jankowski of Clifton Springs, four great grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Mara and David Jankowski; one sister, Shirley E. Smith of Ogdensburg; one sister-in-law Betty Spooner of Ogdensburg; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Short, a brother, Claude (Jack) Spooner, of Ogdensburg and an adopted sister Gladys Rathburn. Mrs. Short was born in Ogdensburg on February 1, 1916, a daughter of the late Henry G. and Olla Nevin Spooner. She attended Ogdensburg schools and married Robert J. Short of Waddington on September 1, 1942 at St. Mary’s Rectory. She was a homemaker until the death of Mr. Short in 1966. She later worked as an attendant at the St. Lawrence State Psychiatric Hospital until her retirement in 1978. She was a lifelong member of the St. Mary’s Cathedral Parish until she moved to Palmyra in 2000 to be with her daughter and family.
Calling hours will be held at the McGuire/Hargrave & Murphy Funeral Home, 123 E. Jackson Street, Palmyra on Monday from 4 PM -7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM Tuesday at St. Anne's Church, Palmyra. Burial in the spring at St. Mary’s cemetery, Ogdensburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County Nursing Home Foundation, 1529 Nye Rd., Lyon, NY 14489 in her memory.

Connor, Lucille L.

ONTARIO - Passed into the arms of Christ peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 3, 2007 at age 75. Predeceased by her parents Herman & Jennie Love. Survived by her husband of 39 years, Jerry; children, Sandra (Kevin) Etzkorn, Timothy Connor; siblings, Merle Love, Helen Myers; many nieces & nephews. She drove school bus for special needs children at Wayne Central School District for several years. Past treasurer of the Lincoln Grange, member of Ontario September Club, & parishioner of St. Mary’s of the Lake Church. Everyone that knew her enjoyed her wit, humor & gentleness. Her presence will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to call Thursday 4-7PM at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario. Her Mass of Resurrection will be held 10AM Friday at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Ontario. Donations may be made to Ontario Volunteer Emergency Squad or masses may be said in her memory. Her family wishes to thank her hospice caregivers for their compassion.

PALMYRA - Died on November 27, 2007 at age 88. Survived by her husband Paul Sapienza; sister Jean Blazey; 38 nieces & nephews, including her godchild Liz Sapienza. Smith, Lloyd J.

WALWORTH - Died on November 26, 2007 at age 85. Survived by his sister Doris (John) Traas; nieces & nephews, Patricia (Elmer) Sutton, David (Jennifer) Traas, Barbara (James) Stoops; many great nieces & nephews. An Army Veteran of WWII. PALMYRA - January 2, 2008, at age 58. passed away from Cystic Fibrosis. Predeceased by parents Michael & Theresa Colacino & infant sisters Barbara Jean & Anne Marie. John is survived by his wife, of 29 years, Janet; & daughter, Michelle. Survived by his brother Dr. James (Sandy) Colacino of Clemson, SC; sister Mary Ann (James) Cocola of Geneva, NY; step-mother, Wanda Colacino of Sebastian, FL.; stepsister Sandy Nighbor of DePere, WI; nieces Hilary (Jason Burgess) & Melissa (Jesse) Beckwith; nephews, Jim (Bridget) Cocola & Anthony (Heather) Cocola; father-in-law, John Seymour of Penn Yan, NY; mother-in-law Joanne (Sam) Cinicola of Penfield, NY; brothers-in-law, Joe (Kim) Seymour, Jack Seymour; sisters-in-law, Judy (Walter) Savaria, Joline (Warren) Doersam, Jane (Paul) Smith, Dana (Greg) Mencer; & many cousins, nieces & nephews. John graduated from Tri-State University, Indiana, & Pal-Mac Central. He was employed at Nazareth College for 33 years, most recently as Associate Treasurer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting & played fast pitch softball in college & slow pitch locally. He hosted back-yard volleyball for many years. John enjoyed watching his daughter compete in state & local horseback competitions.There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. Anne’s Church in Palmyra on Friday, Jan. 4th at 11AM. Private inurnment at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lucille LaSalle Scholarship Fund in care of Nazareth College, 4245 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14618. Arrangements by PAYNE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME.

ONTARIO - 09/15/33 - 12/26/07 age 74. After a courageous battle with cancer passed away into the arms of our heavenly father. Predeceased by brothers Andrew & Anthony Masetta; sisters Nikki Grammatico & Rita Byrne. Survived by Daughters, Cheryl Zinchenko, Deana (David) Alloco; grandchildren Danielle & Thomas Alloco, Sara & Erica Zinchenko, sister Jeanne Slade (Masetta); brothers Joseph & Vincent (Phyllis) Masetta; many nieces, nephews, cousins &
