Survived by her husband, Ralph of 62 years; children Ralph D. Moak, Diane DeFisher; grandchildren Ken (Lisa) Moak, Leslie(Adrian) Twist, Carrie (Brad) Miller, Kelly (Eddie) DeFisher, Christine (Ryan) DeFisher; 7 great grandchildren (2 on the way); brother Rodney (Clara) Peets; sister Polly (Dick) Krenzer; sisters-in-law Joani Peets, Eleanor Peets; brother in law Frank Corwin; many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 1961 Ridge Rd. Ontario, where her Funeral Service will be held 10AM Friday.
Burial at Holy Trinity cemetery.

Dorothy "Dot" Miller

Palmyra - Dorothy "Dot" Miller, 86, passed away suddenly at Clifton Springs Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2007.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leonard F. Miller; sons David (Shirley) Miller, Clifton Springs and Paul (Sylvia) Miller, Newark; grandchildren Mark (Margaret) Miller of Hudson Falls, NY, James (Jeanette) Miller of Schnectady, Michelle (Tim) Perkins of Lyons, Michelle (Mark) Tasso of Revere, MA, Jamie (James) Barnes of Savannah and Meredith (Michael) Ferraro of Victor; grandchildren Michael, Dylan and Tyler Ferraro, Sara Tasso, Anthony Miller and Crystal, Courtney and Jayden Perkins; brother Winfield Robinson of East Patchogue; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and many nieces and grandnieces.
Dorothy and her husband enjoyed camping, their family and were co-directors of the Wayne County Fair Queen Pageant for 11 years.
She also enjoyed kitting, sewing, and crocheting for her family.
Dorothy worked for W. T. Grant on Long Island and the Newark Developmental Center.
Friends may call Wednesday, December 26, 2-5 pm at the McGuire/Hargrave & Murphy Funeral Home, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra.
Services will be at the funeral home Thursday, December 27 at 10 AM with burial in Palmyra cemetery following the service.
Gifts in her memory may be made to the Palmyra Bible Church, 1206 Canandaigua Road, Palmyra; the Alzheimer's Association of Rochester, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester 14620; or a charity of one's choice.
The family would like to thank the staff of Clifton Springs Hospital 3300 Unit for their excellent care.

Klein, William R.

MACEDON - Did on December 21, 2007 at age 82.
Survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, niece & nephew.
His Funeral Service will be held 2PM Saturday at PAYNE & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 1040 Rt. 31, Macedon.
Donations may be made to Wayne County Cancer Society in his memory.

Pechler, John “Jack”

PALMYRA - Died on December 14, 2007 at age 76.
Survived by his children; Bonnie Waugh, David Pechler; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; and ex-wife, Iris Shulla.
At his request, there will be no funeral services held.
He was a US Navy veteran and retired from Williamson BOCES.

PALMYRA / MACEDON - Died on January 6, 2008 at age 92 in Holiday, FL.
Predeceased by her husband Barney Allyn.
Survived by her children, Nancy Allyn, David (Jacalyn) Allyn; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces & a nephew.

DeMato, Marie (White)

ONTARIO - Died on February 12, 2008 at age 94. Predeceased by her husband Samuel & brothers, John & Frank White.
She is survived by her sister Eleanor (Frederick) Heier; sister-in-law Alice White; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews; stepson Gordon (Jane) DeMato & their children.
Marie had many friends.
She loved to travel, play Bridge & cook.
Friends are invited to call Saturday 9AM at St. John of Rochester Roman Catholic Church, Fairport, where her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10AM.
Interment Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

PALMYRA - Died on February 10, 2008 at age 95.
Predeceased by his wife Patricia.
Survived by sister-in-law Marilyn Ruthven; nephew Joe Longwell; grandnephews Scott & Mark Longwell; grandniece Teresa Longwell.
He retired from Garlock after more than 40 years & was a Veteran of the US Army Air Corps.
His Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Mumby, Myra W.

PALMYRA - Died on February 10, 2008 at Geneva Living Center South at age 86.
Predeceased by her husband Eliud "Pete" Mumby.
Survived by her children, Eileen (John) Berges, Michael (Elizabeth) Mumby, Patricia (Michael) Pykare; 7 grandchildren, Steven Mumby, Christopher Mumby, Lisa Mumby, Patrick Pykare, Rachael Pykare, Kristie (Anthony) Romano, Andrew Berges; several nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family who were reached by her love.
Mrs. Mumby was a member of Palmyra Western Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, a member of King’s Daughters, & she devoted her life to her husband & family.

Died on February 9, 2008 surrounded by her family.

GRANDCHILDREN, PETER (VALISHA) SCHUMACHER, THEIR CHILDREN REBECCA AND NICHOLAS OF ZANESVILLE, OHIO. STEFAN (MICHELE) SCHUMACHER, THEIR SONS GUTHRIE, AND HANS OF MALONE, NY. SCOTT SCHUMACHER OF MACEDON. KIRSTEN (PATRICK) VACA THEIR CHILDREN MORGAN AND KALEB OF CHARLOTTE N.C., ERICA (SHELDON) LEWIS, THEIR CHILDREN TALIA AND ZION OF DENTON, TEXAS.
HE WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS ELDEST SON GERHART SCHUMACHER IN 1998, PARENTS ANTON AND ELIZABETH SCHUMACHER, SISTER SOFIA FERBER, AND BROTHER ANTON SCHUMACHER. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS SISTER JUSTINE BARTH OF PERINTON, NY FORMERLY OF CLYDE, MANY NIECES, NEPHEWS AND THEIR CHILDREN.
PHILIP WAS BORN IN YUKOSLAVIA AND IMIGRATED WITH THE ENTIRE SCHUMACHER FAMILY TO AMERICA IN 1951.
ALL THE FAMILIES SETTLED IN THE ROSE/CLYDE AREA AND RAISED THEIR FAMILIES THERE.
THE SCHUMACHER FAMILY IS THE EPITAMY OF THE AMERICAN DREAM.
HE WITH HIS WIFE ELISABETH OWNED A SMALL GROCERY STORE ON THE MAIN STREET OF ROSE.
HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND SERVED ON THE SCHOOL BOARD.
HE MOVED HIS FAMILY TO MACEDON AND WORKED FOR MOBIL CHEMICAL UNTIL HE RETIRED.
FOR 30 YEARS HE AND HIS WIFE WERE THE OWNER/OPERATORS OF TH BICKFORD HOME FOR ADULTS FOR DISABLED VETERANS IN MACEDON.
OVER THE PAST 21 YEARS HE AND HIS WIFE ELISABETH SPENT THEIR WINTERS IN DAYTONA BEACH FL. AND RETURNED TO MACEDON FOR THE OTHER SEASONS.
PHILIP TOUCHED MANY LIFES AND WILL BE MISSED AND REMEMBERED WITH LOVE AND FONDNESS BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

A member of Wayne Co. Historical Society, King’s Daughter’s Library, Palmyra-Macedon Rotary Club, Loyal Order of Masons, Historic Palmyra, Palmyra VFW, Palmyra American Legion, a US Army Air Corps Veteran, a retiree of Garlock Packing Co.
In scouting he received the awards of Eagle Scout and Silver Beaver.
