Martin J. "Marty" Bianco

Martin J.”Marty” Bianco of Florida, NY, died peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, October 31, 2008 after a long battle with cancer and heart disease. He was 77.
The son of the late Angelo & Rose Romano Bianco, he was born on March 17, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY.
Martin was a former Ordained Franciscan Capuchin Monk who served as a catholic priest for 15 years. In 1987, he graduated Fordham University with a Masters degree in science and education. He worked as a substance abuse counselor for almost 40 years. Marty had recently retired from the Sunrise House Foundation in Lafayette, NJ. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him. He touched many lives and left a lasting impression on all.
Survivors include: His wife of 37 years – Vera Bianco; 2 Children; Angela Falcone & husband Bill; Dean Bianco & wife Nicole; Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; He was predeceased by 8 brothers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd from 2-5 & 7-9 P.M. at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral mass will be held 11:00 A.M. – Tuesday, November 4th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery, Florida, NY.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, the Florida Fire & Rescue Squad and all his attending physicians.

Ralph Walter Lane

Ralph Walter Lane of Rock Hill NY, an Engineer for Lanc & Tully, Goshen NY, entered into rest on Saturday, August 11, 2007 along with his wife Cathy Ann “Graf” Lane. He was 44.
The son of the late Rudolph Lane & Christel Janicek Lane, he was born September 18, 1962 in Monticello, NY.
Memberships include the Goodwill Presbyterian Church, Montgomery, NY; Executive Members of the Omega Knights Motorcycle Club of Goodwill Church; U.S. Army and the Reserve Corps.; Past Member of the Rock Hill Fire Department, Rock Hill, NY
Survivors include his Mother; Christel Lane of Rock Hill, NY; 4 Children; Thomas Lane, Jonathan Lane, Jillian Dernbach, & Daniel Lane; Brother Frank Lane of California; Sister Gabriele Reddish of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Brother Benny Lane of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Sister Elizabeth Yount of Warwick,
NY; Sister Heidi Schmidt of Jeffersonville, NY; Many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces & Great Nephew.
Predeceased by his father Rudolph Lane & his infant triplets; Andrew, Nicholas & Joshua
Friends May Call on Friday, August 17, 2007 from 2-4 & 6-9 P.M. at the Goodwill Presbyterian Church, 2117 Route 208, Montgomery, NY 12549.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 18, 2007 in the Goodwill Presbyterian Church, Montgomery, NY
The Reverend Dr. John Torres will officiate.
Burial will be in Rock Hill cemetery, Rock Hill, NY
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Goodwill Presbyterian Church, c/o The Lane Children Benefit Fund, 2117 Route 208, Montgomery, NY 12549.

Frederick Zawaski

Frederick Zawaski of Middletown, NY, entered into rest on Thursday, November 20, 2008 “Together Again With The Lord” at St. Teresa’s Nursing Home, Middletown, NY. He was 83.
The son of the late Frank & Julia Minkus Zawaski, he was born on October 1, 1925 in New Hampton, NY.
He was married to the late Wanda M. Range Zawaski
He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island
Survivors include: 2 Sons – Peter Zawaski and wife Joanne of Myrtle Beach S.C. & Larry Zawaski and wife Dawn of Slate Hill ;Daughter Pauline “Polly” Michella and husband Paul of Middletown; 4 Grandchildren
1 Sister – Stella Lichwick of Middletown & Several Nieces and Nephews
Predeceased by one son James Zawaski, Sister Pauline Lichwick, Brothers, Walter, Alex & John Zawaski & Step-Brother Barney Minkus.
Visitation will be held on Sunday November 23, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969.
Funeral mass will be held 10:00 A.M. on Monday November 24th at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island.
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus cemetery, Pine Island.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Theresa’s Nursing Care and Rehabilitation, 120 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940.

Eileen E. Crover

Eileen E. Crover of New Berlin, NY and formerly of Warwick, NY, entered into rest on Friday, November 28, 2008 at M.I. Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown. She was 71.
The daughter of the late Edward Lowkis & Agnes Calak Lowkis, she was born July 16, 1937 in Warwick.
Eileen was married to Daniel Daios in 1956 and he passed away in 1976. She then married John Crover in Warwick in 1977. The have resided in the New Berlin area since 1981. Eileen was a Registered Nurse having worked at Orange Farm Nursing Home and St. Anthony Community Hospital. She most recently worked at Chase Memorial Nursing Home in New Berlin and Valley View Nursing Home in Norwich, NY.
Eileen had been very active in Cub Scouting, having served as a den mother while Daniel served as cub master for several years. She was a member of St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in New Berlin. She was an avid garage saler, and also enjoyed cooking, baking and feeding the neighborhood.
She is survived by her husband John Crover of New Berlin, NY; 4 Children; Tim Daios of New Berlin, Darlene Daios & companion Tom Edwards of West Edmeston; Denise Neilson & husband Jamie of Clearwater, FL; & Greg Daios of Verona. Her grandchildren include Sarah Gage, Parker, Reid & Grant Neilson, Jessie and Kristin Edwards and a great grandson, Hayden Thomas Edwards. She is also survived by a very special longtime dearest friend, Elaine Pikul and several brothers and sisters in law and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 3rd at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island. The Reverend Joseph Tokarczyk will officiate.
Interment will be in St. Stanislaus cemetery, Pine Island.

Dorothy J. Mabee

Evelyn Dreyse of Slate Hill, NY, a cashier for Home Depot, entered into rest on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at O.R.M.C. – Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. She was 65.
The daughter of the late Walter & Lilly Edeltraud Dreyse, she was born January 13, 1943 in Halle, Germany.
Mom lived in Staten Island for most of her life before moving to the State of Florida for 10 years. After living in Florida, she moved to Rhode Island then moved in with her son Nicholas in Slate Hill, NY.
She is survived by: Son Angelo Lorenzo & wife Jongrak of Staten Island, NY; Son Nicholas Lorenzo & wife Bettyann of Slate Hill, NY; Daughter Christine Lorenzo of Coventry, RI; Son Thomas Eide of Tampa, Fl; 4 Grandchildren; Nicholas, Emily, Robert & Blake.
Friends are welcome to gather with the family at the home of her son, Nicholas Lorenzo, 18 Kings Lane, Slate Hill, NY 10973 (845) 612-9674, from 2-6 P.M. Sunday, December 14th.

Evelyn Dreyse

Evelyn Dreyse of Slate Hill, NY, a cashier for Home Depot, entered into rest on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at O.R.M.C. – Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. She was 65.
The daughter of the late Walter & Lilly Edeltraud Dreyse, she was born January 13, 1943 in Halle, Germany.

Frank J. Glebocki Jr.

Frank J. Glebocki Jr. of Warwick, NY, a self employed produce farmer, entered into rest on Friday, December 19, 2008 at St. Anthony Community Hospital, Warwick. He was 82.
The son of the late Frank Glebocki Sr. & Anna Pacion Glebocki, he was born on December 24, 1925 in Goshen, NY.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Florida; Orange County Vegetable Growers, Goshen.
Dad’s passion was the farm, he was truly one of the best produce farmers in the area. He will be truly missed.
Survivors include: Beloved wife of 59 years – Eleanor Kulak Glebocki at home, Warwick; 3 Children; Rich Glebocki of Otisville; Missy Sosler & husband Ray Jr. of Middletown; Frank Glebocki III of Goshen; 5 Grandchildren – John & wife Debbie of Middletown; Ray III & wife Sally of Middletown, Ashley of Middletown; Frankie & Hunter. 3 Great Grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Sylvia & Ray IV. 2 Brothers; Joe Glebocki & wife Rita of Florida, NY & Stanley Glebocki of Warwick. And several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter Patricia Ann Glebocki.

Charles F. Smith of Warwick, NY a retired maintenance worker for Orange County entered into rest on Wednesday December 31, 2008 He was 91 .The son of Seeley and Mary Flannigan Smith he was born on September 2, 1917 in Edenville, NY . He was a past member of Amity Fire Company where he served as a Fire Policeman. He was marred the late Charlotte Weslowski Smith . Survivors include: His son Ronald E. Smith and wife Barbara of Warwick, NY; Grandson Kevin Smith of Warwick, NY ; 2 great-grandsons Kevin and Craig Smith. He was predeceased by one son Thomas Smith . Burial will be held in St. Stephens cemetery at the convenience of the family . Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan 800 Stony Brook Ct. Newburgh, NY 12550. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the T.S. Purta Funeral Home.

Dorothy Foline

Dorothy Foline of Warwick, NY a retired administrative assistant for State Farm Insurance, entered into rest on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus, Middletown. She was 76.
The daughter of Rocco Battista & Edith Rizzolo Battista, she was born August 26, 1932 in Newark, NJ.
Survivors include: Son David Folina and wife Nicola of Florida, NY; grandson Michael Angelo Folina of Florida, NY; 2 Sisters; Edith Harding of Carol City, Fl & Lois Shind of Port Orange, Fl.
Predeceased by Husband Lewis Foline; Son Stephen Foline; Sister Neva Potter & Brother Rocco Battista.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 10, 2009 at St. Stephens Church Warwick, NY 10990.
Burial will be in St. Stephen’s cemetery Warwick, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Albert Wisner Public Library, 2 Colonial Avenue, Warwick, NY 10990; Attn: Rosemary Cooper.

Richard Parmerter

Richard “Dick” Parmerter, of Florida, NY a retired store manager for Shop Rite Supermarkets and owner of Dick’s Fine Guns entered into rest on Wednesday February 4, 2009. He was 76.
The son of the late Folger and Margorie Knapp Parmerter, he was born on February 22, 1932 in Florida, NY.
He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.
Dick was a wonderful man who took pride in his gardens and his fish pond, he was proud to have served his country during the Korean War.
He was a member of VFW Post #4662 Warwick, NY, American Legion Post # 1250 Florida, NY, Orange County Veterans Coalition where he served as a Bugler, and the Korean War Vets Middletown, NY
Survivors include: His beloved wife Gloria Parmerter at home,
Brother Robert Parmerter of Schnevis, NY and sister Shirley Carr of Florence, S.C.
Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his brother Kenneth Parmerter and his sister Jean Agnes Parmerter.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 6, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00AM Saturday February 7, 2009 at St. Josephs Church, 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY.
Burial will be in St. Josephs cemetery.
