Peter J. Ciciarelli, 88, formerly of 156 W. Third St., Fulton, died Tuesday. He was born in Fulton. He retired in 1978 as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a life member and a fourth degree member of St. Joseph's Council 254 Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Italian American Club, a life member of Fulton Veterans of Foreign Wars 569 and a 30-year member of Fulton Christ the King Retreat Group. His wife, Margaret, died in 1998.Survivors: Two daughters, Carolyn Egan of Florida and Connie Rowe of Fulton; a brother, John of Fulton; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Services: 8 a.m. Friday at Sugar Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, 224 W. Second St., Fulton.

Carlton K. Clarke

Carlton K. Clarke, 59, of 35 Holly Park Drive, Bernhards Bay, died Sunday. He was born in Syracuse. He was a sand blaster at Janks Sand Blasting, Syracuse. He was an Army veteran.Survivors: His wife of 28 years, the former Nina Burke; a daughter, Kimberly Sands of Bernhards Bay; two sons, Shawn and Randy, both of Syracuse; two brothers, Bruce of West Monroe and Wayne of North Syracuse; two grandchildren. Services: Private, at the convenience of the family. Central New York Funeral Service, Syracuse, has arrangements.

William C. Dethloff

William C. Dethloff, 80, of Fayetteville died Monday. Born in Syracuse, he also lived in Mannsville. He retired in 1981 as an internal auditor for New York Telephone Co. after 40 years. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Fayetteville and Telephone Pioneers of America. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a prisoner of war in Germany.Survivors: His wife of 23 years, the former Margaret Young; a daughter, Susann C. Smith of Fayetteville; two sons, Steven C. of Syracuse and Scott W. of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren. Memorial services: 4 p.m. Sept.1 in Trinity Episcopal Church. Family will greet friends at the church following the service. Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel has arrangements. Contributions: Trinity Episcopal Church, 106 Chapel St., Fayetteville 13066.

T. Christine Eubanks

T. Christine Eubanks, 91, of San Antonio,  Texas, died July 9. Born in Prairie Dell,  Texas, she had lived in Syracuse most of her life before moving away in 2000. She was a homemaker. She was the first woman during World War II from Seneca County to obtain a chauffeur's license. Her husband, Dave W. Jr., died in 1971.Survivors: Two daughters, Iva Caruso of San Antonio and Norma Smith of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Zana Nuzum of Arizona and Iva Greenlee of Macedon; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Saturday in Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, has arrangements.

David S. Fox

David Scott Fox, 37, of Old State Road, Sterling, died Monday from injuries suffered in a boating accident in Fair Haven. Born in Wilmington, Del., he graduated from state Agricultural and Technical College at Cobleskill. He owned Sterling Gray Farms and was a partner in the restoration of the Pleasant Beach Hotel in Fair Haven Bay. His mother, Linda M. Fox, died previously.Survivors: His wife of three years, the former Kathleen M. Ouellette; his father and stepmother, the Rev. Richard and Verna Fox of Dansville; four brothers, Dennis Fox of Hudson, Fla., Donald Fox of Dansville, Shawn Reynolds of Arlington,  Texas, and Jason Reynolds of Sacramento,  Calif. Memorial Services: 9 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Beach Hotel and 4 p.m. in Dansville Presbyterian Church. Burial and calling hours, private. Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego, has arrangements.

Grace Gallin

Grace Shapiro Gallin, 82, of 116 Robbins Lane, DeWitt, died Tuesday at Jewish Home of Central New York. She was born in Syracuse. She retired in 1984 from J.C. Penney of ShoppingTown in DeWitt after 17 years. She was a member of Temple Beth El, Hadassah, Na'Amat and Parents of North Americans in Israel. Her husband, Daniel, died this year.Survivors: Three sons, David and Reuven, both of Israel, and Richard of New York City; a sister, Belle Shriro of Fayetteville; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St., Syracuse. Burial was in Beth El Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the family home. Contributions: Temple Beth El, 3528 E. Genesee St., Syracuse 13214.

Norman H. Gunther

Norman Howard Gunther, 90, of Oswego River Road, Phoenix, died Wednesday. Born in Syracuse, he lived in the town of Clay for several years and Florida for two years. He attended Syracuse schools. He was an iron worker in Iron Workers Union Local 60, Syracuse, for several years before he retired. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5540, Phoenix, and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose 644, Baldwinsville. He was an Army veteran from 1944-46 in the 1012th Air Aviation Squadron.Survivors: His wife, the former Charlotte Maitland; a daughter, Noreen J. Forbes of Bella Fista, Ariz.; a son, Norman G. of Phoenix; four sisters, Dorothy MacDougall of Hernando, Fla., Shirley Waldron of Phoenix, Betty Joy of Oneida and Rena Frucello of Boca Raton, Fla.; four grandsons; two great-grandchildren. Jane Ouderkirk Martin, 86, formerly of Westvale, died Sunday. She was born in Syracuse. She worked for New York State Housing Authority. She was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church. John Mungenast, 72, of Oxnard,  Calif., died May 3 of cancer. Born in St. Louis, Mo., he lived in Skaneateles more than 20 years before moving away in 1989. He attended St. Louis University and  Washington University. He was an engineer at General Electric Co. in Syracuse and Auburn for more than 20 years and retired in 1999 from Intertec International in California after 10 years. He was an Army veteran.Survivors: His wife of more than 50 years, the former Alice Drees; two daughters, Diane Crowley of Arlington, Mass., and Nancee Wirthgen of Hofheim, Germany; five sons, Stephen of Albany, David of Corte Madera,  Calif., Timothy of Watertown, Mass., Christian of Arlington and Robert of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Andrew of Montgomery, Ala., David of St. Louis and Carl of Wildwood, Mo.; five grandchildren. Peter F. Pitcher, 76, of Conifer Drive, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday. He was a life resident of Baldwinsville. He was an engineer at Syracuse Steam Station and a truck driver for several local companies. He was an ambulance driver for Baldwinsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps and a volunteer fireman for Belgium-Cold Springs Fire Department. He was a member of Baldwinsville Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 644. A son, Ralph A., died in 1997.Survivors: His wife, the former Emma R. LaPradd; two sons, Richard P. of Baldwinsville and Peter of Utica; three daughters, Nancy R. Ladd of Fulton, Kathy Kurilovitch of Baldwinsville and Thereas Carter of Utica; a sister, Hattie Haley of Baldwinsville; a brother, Floyd of Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He owned Riverside Fire Extinguisher Sales & Service since 1989 and also worked 27 years for Cortland County Communications Division. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Cortland, a life member of the Homer Fire Department and vice president of the Cortland County Burn Fund. He was an Air Force veteran.Survivors: His wife, the former Linda Williams; two daughters, Susan Duttry of Bloomsburg, Pa., and Teresa Natoli of Cortland; a son, Mark of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Bonnie Fitzgerald of North Syracuse; a brother, the Rev. She retired in 1993 as a sales representative At Dey Bros. after 25 years. She was a member of the Solvay Senior Citizens, St. Cecilia's Church Choir and the Ecumenical Choir. She was a volunteer at Community General Hospital Intensive Care Unit and gift shop. Her husband, Jerry, died in 1991.Survivors: A daughter, Mary S. Walker of Solvay; two sisters, Rose Alexander of Solvay and Viola Wright of Fairmount; three grandchildren. Services: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Family Funeral Care and 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church. She was a charter member of the Salmon River Fine Arts Center, Pulaski. She was an artist during the National Recovery Act during the Depression.
