Donald B. Pendergast, 92, of Coraopolis, Pa., died Friday. Born in Syracuse, he lived there most of his life and had lived at 119 Crippen Ave. before moving to the Pittsburgh area in 2000. He retired in 1975 from Crouse-Hinds Co. in Syracuse after 40 years and had worked at Keiffer Brothers. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and Oneida Lake Association. He was a member of Empire State Masons Konosioni Lodge 950 for more than 50 years. He had served in the National Guard. A son, Donald E. Woods, died in 1996.Survivors: His wife of 62 years, the former Grace Cuykendall; a daughter, Ginny Nolin of Coraopolis; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home. Burial,  White Chapel Memory Gardens. Calling hour, 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse.

Stefan Rekulak, 78, of Syracuse died Sunday. He was born in Ternopil, Ukraine. He retired in 1989 as a supervisor at Stanton Foundry after 35 years. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church and a member of the Ukrainian National Home, Surma Men's Choir and Ukrainian Congress Committee.Survivors: His wife, Stefania; a daughter, Vira Burbela of the Ukraine; a sister, Anastasia Lycholat of the Ukraine; a brother, Wasyl of St. Catherine's, Ontario; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Macko-Vassallo Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Burial, St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. She was a member of Daughters of America Star Victory 90 in North Syracuse and Order of the Eastern Star Centerville Chapter 185.Survivors: Her husband of 73 years, Howard C.; a daughter, Norma Napoli of North Syracuse; two sisters, Nancy Delpriore and Anne Ince, both of North Syracuse; two brothers, Walter and Alex Locke, both of North Syracuse; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Dellamae Betts Wickwire, 91, of Payne Street, Hamilton, died June 29. She was a life resident of Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton High School. She retired in 1969 as Hamilton assistant village clerk and treasurer after 20 years. She was a cradle-roll member of First Baptist Church, a member of Order of the Eastern Star 511 and the 50 Club, all of Hamilton, and the Hamilton Club. Her husband, Newton, died in 1988.Survivors: A daughter, Cynthia O'Brien of Endicott; a son, Stephen H. of Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Albert J. Lagoe Sr., 74, of New Port Richey, Fla., died Saturday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Born in Syracuse, he had also lived in Fayetteville, Manlius Center and Central Square. He retired in 1985 as a truck driver after 33 years and was a member of Teamsters Local 317. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.Survivors: His wife of 55 years, the former Norma J. Bellinger; a daughter, Susan Cady of Bridgeport; three sons, Albert J.
