Charlotte Simon Weatherup, 70, of Central Square, died Tuesday. She was born in Troy and lived in Syracuse until moving to Central Square in 1945. She graduated from Central Square Central School and the Rochester Institute of Technology. She retired this year as a legal assistant after 20 years with Weatherup and Foody Law Firm. She was a member of the Central Square Library Board. She was a member of the Elizabeth Caldwell Chapter 141 Order of Eastern Star in Central Square. Her son, Thomas Jr., died in 1986.Survivors: Her husband of 48 years, Thomas; a daughter, Susan Farrell of Binghamton; two sons, James and Andrew, both of Central Square; nine grandchildren. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
