A tribute from his grandchildren: On a beautiful spring day in March our angel got his wings. As our most precious living guardian he will continue his vigil by God's side. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mildred Forman; and four sisters-in-law, Nancy Inman, Linda Burns, Mary Merando and Marilyn Forrest and their families.

He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Inman; and two stepbrothers, William and Robert Forrest.

There are a few special thank yous his family would like to make; first to our sister and daughter, Traci Brown, who helped to make Dad's last month as comfortable as possible. She was his strength as well as ours. To Dr. John May who was his physician and friend for almost 20 years. You are very special. Also a very special thank you to friends who were like family to him. And to our mother, his loving wife and his lifelong partner, the backbone of our family.
