Richard D. Curcie, 43, of 204 Panama City, Fla., formerly of Mexico, died Aug. 27. Born in Fulton, he graduated from Mexico Academy in 1975, received an associate degree from Onondaga Community College and a bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Binghamton. Marcia Poole Fish, 93, formerly of West Cleveland Street, Cortland, died Saturday at Northwoods at Cortland. She was born in Lincklaen. She was proprietress of Cortland Bowling Center from 1952 to 1971. She was a member of Kings Daughters and Cortland Moose Club. Her husband, Harold, died in 1970; her son, Carl, died in 1990. Edward "Biff" Kowaleski, 87, of Hawley Avenue, Syracuse, died Sunday. He was born in Syracuse. He retired after 30 years with New York Central, Penn Central and Conrail railroads. He was a life member of the Polish American Citizens Club and was a member of the Transportation Workers Union 2052. He was a communicant of Transfiguration Church and a member of Osceola Rod & Gun Club. He was a member of Civilian Conservation Corps during World War II. His wife, Sherel, died previously. Robert H. Morin, 80, of 91 Ridge Road, Fulton, died Sunday. Born in Fulton, he attended Syracuse University, Yale University and the University of Notre Dame. He retired as co-owner and operator of Morin Brothers Inc. in 1986 after 40 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fulton, Northeast Lumberman's Association and Hiawatha Council of Boy Scouts of America. He served as a trustee of Fulton Savings Bank from 1959 to 1991. He was a Coast Guard and Navy veteran of World War II. His first wife, Eleanor, died in 1983. Frank W. Pharoah, 74, of 1355 county Route 26, Williamstown, died Monday. He was born in Syracuse. He retired in 1987 as a body repairman for Chuck Taylor Body Shop in Liverpool. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and National Veterans of Foreign Wars and attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Camillus. He was a Navy veteran, having served in 1944 and 1945. He was a member and past president of Baldwinsville Farmers Co-op, served on the Sheep Marketing Advisory Board coordinated by Cornell University, was a life member and past chief of Belgium-Cold Springs Fire Department, and was a member of Ironwood Golf Club in Baldwinsville.
