He retired in 1992 from Niagara Mohawk after 36 years. He was a communicant of Assumption Church and a volunteer with its food pantry. He was a member of Knights of the Cross. He was Navy veteran of the Korean War.Survivors: His wife of six years, Tricia; a daughter, Jeanne  Schmidt of Camillus; a son, Anthony of Liverpool; a sister, Ann Calabrese of Syracuse; a brother, Peter of Syracuse; five grandchildren. Charlotte G. Calpeter

Charlotte G. Clark Calpeter, 96, formerly of Hill Park Health Care Center, Syracuse, died Friday at Cedars Nursing Home in Ogdensburg. Born in Syracuse, she lived most of her life in North Syracuse before moving to Hill Park in 1996. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and Edward Weaver Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Ladies Auxiliary, both in North Syracuse, and the color guard of the state VFW organization, and a former member of the Home Bureau. Her husband, Peter, died in 1976.Survivors: A daughter, Marion E. Fleisch of North Syracuse; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson. Robert V. Clark

Robert V. Clark, 80, of Queens Way, Camillus, died Saturday. Born in Syracuse, he lived 41 years on Onondaga Hill before moving to Camillus seven years ago. He retired in 1982 as a conductor for Conrail after 41 years. He was a member of United Transportation Union Local 1007, American Legion Valley Post 1468 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2893. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.Survivors: His wife of 54 years, the former Edith LaPine; a daughter, Karen C. Baron of Camillus; a son, David V. of Cicero; a brother, Donald of Cicero; two grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Buranich Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Gladys E. Davis

Gladys Eldridge Davis, 93, of 4600 Southwood Heights Drive, Jamesville, died Sept. 11 at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Syracuse, she lived several years in Fayetteville before moving to Jamesville in 1997. She graduated from Goodyear Burlingame School, Cazenovia Seminary and Westminster Choir College. She attended graduate school at Syracuse University. She was a better dress and bridal salon buyer for Addis Co. and had been a voice and piano teacher. Her first husband, Harold E. Fenton, and her second husband, Tom Davis, both died previously.Survivors: A daughter, Joan F. Seabrook of Manlius; a son, Jon E. Fenton of Fort Worth,  Texas; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Saturday in First Universalist Unitarian Society of Syracuse, 250 Waring Road, Syracuse. Burial, Fayetteville Cemetery. No calling hours. Eaton-Tubbs-Schepp Funeral Home, Fayetteville, has arrangements.

Beverly A. Kendrat

Beverly A. Kendrat, 68, of 102 Old Farm Road, Fayetteville, died Friday at Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville. Born in Scranton, Pa., she graduated from Nottingham High School. She and her husband owned Bill's Big M in Minoa for 25 years. She was a member of bowling leagues at Eastwood Sports Center, Fremont Lanes and Stoddard's. She was a former member of golf leagues.Survivors: Her husband, Bill; a daughter, Deanna Kendrat of Kirkville; a son, William T. of Jamesville; four grandchildren. He retired in 1985 as a factory worker in Lviv, Ukraine, after 30 years. He was a member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church.Survivors: His wife of 45 years, the former Sofiya V. Yasinovskaya; a daughter, Lidiya Mostrianskaya of Syracuse; a son, Vladimir of Camillus; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild. He retired in 1991 as a lithographic cameraman for Hamford & Rose Printing after 30 years and had worked 10 years as a security guard for Armored Motor Service of America. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Syracuse Pistol Club. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.Survivors: His wife of 27 years, Frances; two daughters, Anita J. Montrosso of Virginia Beach, Va., and Rebecca Reed of Liverpool; two sons, Stephen W. Montrosso of Warners and Joseph Beck of Chesapeake, Va.; two grandchildren. Services: Private. Anthony P. Petrosino, 83, of 93 Lansing St., Auburn, died Thursday. He was born in Auburn. He retired in 1994 as owner and operator with his son of Pet's Mobil Station in Auburn after 37 years. He was a communicant of St. Francis Church and a member of Cayuga County Sportsman's Club and Falcon Sportsman's Club. Thomas Phillip Ryan, 59, of San Jose, Costa Rica, died Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, he grew up on Onondaga Hill and lived in the Syracuse area many years. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and St. Michael's College and received a master's degree from the University of Buffalo. He was a teacher with Buffalo school district, Manlius Military Academy and Buckley School in Manhattan. He also was headmaster at Bordentown-Lennox (Mass.) School and executive director of Mental Health Association of Forsythe County in Winston-Salem, N.C.Survivors: A sister, Anne Monaghan of Syracuse; a brother, Michael J. of Hedgesville, W.Va. Myron Yaworsky, 86, of Liverpool died Friday. Born in Syracuse, he had lived on Abbe Drive in Taunton. He retired in 1980 after 13 years as a machine repairman at Carrier Corp. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, a member of its Holy Name Society, and a member and former director of its choir. He was a member of Syracuse Musicians Association Local 78. His wife, Mary, died in 1992; a son, Eugene, died in 1955.Survivors: Three daughters, Gloria Kyanka of Syracuse, Janet Walcott of Barrington, Ill., and Joanne Yaworsky of Liverpool; a son, Matthew of Liverpool; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Macko-Vassallo Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Burial, St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. He retired in 1977 as a master chief petty officer in the Navy after 20 years. He was a submariner and was in the first training class for nuclear submarines. He was a dispatcher with the New York Power Authority. He was a charter member of the Ledyard Sportsmen's Club and a member of Ducks Unlimited.Survivors: His wife, the former Gail Seavey; twin daughters, Janet Zimmerman of Oswego and Marcella Z. He worked in mechanical operations at ARCO Petroleum Products in Syracuse. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and received the Silver Star. His wife, Marion, died in 1991.Survivors: Two sons, Robert E. of North Syracuse and Edward J. of Liverpool; a sister, Elizabeth Farley of St. Paul, Minn.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
