He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Florida and chairman of the Easy Does It Club. He was a Marine Corps veteran. His father, James E. Jr., died previously.Survivors: A daughter, Michelle Medler of Syracuse; two sons, James Medler of Syracuse and Joshua Pullman of Holly Hill; his mother and stepfather, Alice and Patrick Gillin of Holly Hill; seven sisters, Patricia Metz of Jacksonville, Fla., Elaine Parker of Lockwood,  Calif., Mary Bogart of DeWitt, Alice Ly and Therese Teachout, both of Syracuse, Kelly Van Dusen of Chittenango and Wendy Mazzole of Bridgeport; two brothers, Michael of Cicero and Allen of Fayetteville. Services: 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 300 Valley Drive, Syracuse. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. No calling hours. Newlife Cremation and Funeral Chapel, Ormond Beach, Fla., had arrangements.

She retired in 1983 as an assembler for the Smith Corona typewriter plant in Groton.Survivors: Her husband of 32 years, Gordon D.; two daughters, Marian Lillie of Syracuse and Cheryl Fickeisen of Moravia; a son, Raymond Spafford of Oregon; two sisters, Leneta Ward of Boise, Idaho, and Elsie Galbraith of Groton; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was a crossing guard for the Syracuse Police Department at Huntington School and had also worked at E.W. Edwards & Son and Dey Brothers and had been an Avon representative. Three husbands died previously, Howard W. Reynolds Sr. in 1969 and Raymond Dennis and Gordon Ridgway; a son, Howard W. Reynolds Jr., died in 1995.Survivors: A daughter, Helen Carter of Fabius; a stepson, Marshall Williamson of Leesburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He was a home builder in Chittenango for 42 years and operated Berkey Homes and later Rebco Homes, developing several neighborhood tracts. He retired in 1994. He was a former member of the Chittenango Lions Club. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.Survivors: His wife of 51 years, the former Patricia Ross; two daughters, Kathy B. Fuller and Laura Ezzo, both of Chittenango; two sons, Robert E. III, of Morrisville, and Steven R., of Chittenango; a sister, Nancy Lee Berkey, of North Chittenango; 10 grandchildren.
