She was a program manager and Six Sigma Blackbelt specialist at Federated Logistics, a division of Federated Department Stores based in Cincinnati. She was a United Way volunteer.Survivors: Her husband, Daniel; her parents, Neville Sachs of Camillus and Judith Sachs of Syracuse; two sisters, Darcy Sachs of Tully and Amy Yam of Falls Church, Va.; a brother, Andrew Sachs of North Potomac, Md.; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Haley of North Syracuse. Luke Sconiers

Bishop Saint Luke Sconiers, 84, of 212 Comstock Place, Syracuse, died Saturday. Born in Chancellor, Ala., he attended Tuskegee Institute and graduated from Syracuse University. He was the founder and pastor of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ and was a bishop serving five districts. He was a member of the Interreligious Council of Central New York. He worked for the Syracuse City School District and Salvation Army Southwest Day Care Center and was worshipful master of Ezekiel Lodge 49 of the Masons. Survivors: A daughters, Leila M. Robinson of Atlanta; two granddaughters whom he raised, Annie Edwards and Betty J. Wright, both of Clay; a son, Michael of Evansville, Ind.; a brother, Elisha of Enterprise, Ala.; eight other grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 30 great great-grandchildren. Stanley E. Szatanek

Stanley E. Szatanek, 61, of Liverpool died Monday. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from Eastwood High School. He retired in 1996 as a carpenter superintendent for Carpenters Union Local 12 after 32 years. After retirement, he owned SES Construction Co. He was a former coach with the Seneca River Little League. He was a member of the Marine Corps Reserves.Survivors: His wife of 36 years, the former Elaine M. Sorts; two daughters, Michelle M. Moon of Cicero and Kristin A. Pierce of Granby; a son, Robert S. of Collamer; a brother, Francis of Baldwinsville; seven grandchildren. Ruth I. Carlson, 87, formerly of Bakeman Street, Fulton, died Monday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. She was born in Easton, Mass., and lived in Fulton since 1995. She retired in 1978 from a trucking company in Avon, Mass., after many years. She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Liverpool and Order of the Eastern Star Elizabeth Chapter 105 in Fulton. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star Agawam Chapter 123 in West Wareham, Mass. Her husband, Roland W., died in 1979.Survivors: Two daughters, Christine R.
