He was a video editor and producer and owner of Gotham Media Group in New York City for six years. He had worked at WBZ-TV in Boston, did work for VH1 and ABC Sports, and covered the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan, for NBC.Survivors: His parents, Sidney R. and Janet Warford of Constantia; four brothers, Scott of Bernhards Bay, Mark of Schenectady, Ryan and Grady, both of Constantia; his paternal grandmother, Juanita Scanlon of Englewood, Fla.; his maternal grandmother, Jean Statkewicz of Syracuse. Beatrice A. Gwilt Brann, 88, formerly of LaFayette and Lindbergh Road, Nedrow, died Thursday at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in South Onondaga, she attended Onondaga Valley Academy and had lived in LaFayette most of her life. She had worked at Chappell's department store and Valley Bakery. She was a member of LaFayette Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, LaFayette Grange and Valley VIPs. Her husband, Raymond D., died in 1988.Survivor: A brother, Howard W. Gwilt of Camillus. Nick Vincent Lannie, 76, of 699 Little Pond Road, Williamstown, died Thursday. He was born in Syracuse. He retired in 1981 from the U.S. Postal Service at the Taft Road, North Syracuse, post office. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War. His wife, Irene, died in 1985.Survivors: Two daughters, Ramona Wright of West Amboy and Angeline Broga of Chester, Va.; a son, Vincent Lannie of Syracuse; two sisters, Delores Lannie and Betty Ottinger, both of Syracuse; six brothers, Joseph and Albert, both of Syracuse, Robert, Fred and Frank, all of West Amboy, and Anthony of Colonial Heights, Va.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Clinton E. Maynard, 79, of county Route 3, Hannibal, died Wednesday. Born in Watertown, he graduated from Central Square high school. He retired in 1983 from the USDA Soil Conservation Service and had worked in Onondaga, Saratoga, Yates and Oswego counties. He had worked for the Onondaga County Soil and Water Conservation Service. He was past president and a founding and life member of Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Hannibal Veterans of Foreign Wars post. He was a volunteer with the Oswego Industries bowling program. He was an Army veteran of World War II and retired from the Air National Guard after 30 years. His wife, the former June Doria, died previously.Survivors: Four daughters, Pamela Ranieri and Janice Wilcox, both of Castile, Theresa Bishop of Holly Hills, Fla., and Heidi Walters of Douglasville, Ga.; four sons, Roy of Branchport, Maurice of Hannibal, Clinton J. of Mableton, Ga., and Earl of Fulton; three sisters, Martha Showers of Minoa, and Mary Clark and Marion Yerdon, both of Central Square; a brother, Julius of Cicero; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. He worked at Syracuse Type Setting, which became Data Scan Co. after he bought it. He later drove school bus and instructed new bus drivers for Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District. He was a member of Albion Fish and Game Club, National Rifle Association and Trout Unlimited. He was an Army veteran and also served in the National Guard.Survivors: His wife of 38 years, the former Marilyn Washburn; a daughter, Lynn Schauer-Webster of Lewiston; a son, Michael of Stockport; two grandchildren. She was trained as a teacher at Southern State Normal School in Springfield, S.D. She was a volunteer for County South P.E.A.C.E. Program. She was a member of Fabius Baptist Church. Her husband, Donald W., died in 1977. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Oneida Post 169. She was past president and former board member of the North Broad Street Parent Teachers Association. She was a former Girl Scout leader. She was a former member of the Mizpah Rebekahs. Her husband, Lyce C., died in 1998. Her son, Roy L., died in 1963. Survivors: A daughter, Wava-June Pitcher of Liverpool; two sisters, Florence Johns of Dunedin, Fla. and Ethel Quain of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
