He was a longtime volunteer for the Gates Volunteer Fire Dept. and a longtime member of St. Helen's Church.

Calabrese, Michael S. : February 14, 2000 of Falls Church, VA, at age 85. Formerly of Rochester, NY. Loving husband of Ingrid Calabrese; father of Michael B. Calabrese and Terry Green. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge and was awarded a Purple Heart. Funeral Services were held in Arlington, VA.

Curme, Henry Garrett: : Died at home on February 23, 2000 at age 76, under the loving care of his family and Hospice. Born on Dec. 31, 1923 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was raised in Claremont, CA, and received his B. S. and M. S. from Northwestern University, and his PhD. in Physical Chemistry from Berkeley after serving in the US Army at Oak Ridge, TN. In 1950 he joined Eastman Kodak Company where he became Lab Head in the Chemistry and the Clinical Products Divisions, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder, and was involved in church programs relating to issues of poverty and race relations.
Henry was a loving husband to his wife of 36 years, Nancy, and a devoted father to his three children and their spouses, Lindy Keiser and husband, Michael, of Chicago, IL, Andrea Willey and husband, John, of Poolesville, MD, and Oliver Curme and wife, Cindy, of Weston, MA; nine grandchildren, Leigh, Dana, Michael, and Christopher Keiser, Scott and Andrew Willey, and Henry, Chester, and Eli Curme.
Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on SATURDAY, MARCH 4 at 11 AM at THIRD PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, East Ave. at Meigs St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Third Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 4 Meigs St., Rochester, NY 14604, or to the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580.

She is survived by her beloved children, Colin and Caitlin Orr; her parents, Mary and Raymond Donohoe; sisters, Marie (Robert) Kemins and Ellen (Gregory) Whalen; brothers, Thomas (Diane), Leo, Richard (Diane) and Joseph (Cindy) Donohoe, all of Arlington, VA area; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4 at 10 a.m. at the Interfaith Chapel of the University of Rochester, Wilson Boulevard near Elmwood Avenue. A reception will follow at the church.

Aprilano, Constance: Sunday, April 30, 2000, age 92. She was recently predeceased by her devoted husband of 67 years, Frank F. Aprilano. She is survived by her son, Frank S. (Joanne); daughter, Marilyn Proia; grandchildren, Frank G. of Middle Village, NY and Steven Aprilano, Andrea M. Proia of New York City, Louise (John) Roque of Eastchester, NY and Richard R. (Lindsey Thompson, M. D. ) Proia, M. D. of Lebanon, NH; great grandsons, Steven Matthew Aprilano, John Richard and Samuel Joseph Roque. She was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Faye Aprilano and son-in-law, Richard F. Proia, M. D. She worked with her husband and son for twenty years in the family owned business, April Drugs.
