MILLER Rev. Robert P. Miller, Sr., 86, Lebanon, March 6, 2001. Born October 18, 1914 in Franklin County, the son of the late Henry and Florence (Weed) Miller. Member of West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. Survived by wife, Lena (Moore) Miller; sons, Robert (Hazel) Miller, Jr. of Marengo and Rev. Joseph (Ronna) Miller of Tacoma, Wash.; daughters, Vangie (Rev. Gary) Hughes of Lebanon and Beth (Rev. Joseph) Green of Alcoa, Tenn.; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Rev. Virgil (Erma) Miller of Lebanon, John (Virginia) Miller of Mt. Gilead; sisters, Ada White of Lebanon and Edna (Rev. Harold) Johnson of Fremont, Mich.; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Wilmington United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Phil Malone officiating. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church. MORLAN Louise A. Morlan, age 83, died March 5, 2001 at Columbus Alzheimer's Center. Preceded in death by husband Forest Morlan, daughters Mary Lou McCain, Judy Jacobs. Survived by sons, Forest Leroy (Brenda) Morlan, Tom (Wanda) Morlan, Bobby (Marilyn) Morlan, Terry (Kathy) Morlan; daughters, Marlene (Danny) Smith, Nicky (Bill) McConaha; 30 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends. MOWERY Willis T. Mowery, age 70, of Groveport, Ohio passed away Monday, March 5, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Will was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 25 years of service. He was born in Holden, W.Va. to James and Clara Mowery, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Gladys (Hall) Mowery, whom he married on Christmas Day, 1951; his son and daughter-in-law, Mark M. and Lorri Mowery; and grandchildren, Alyson, Arika and Aron Mowery; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Friday, March 9 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, with a Memorial Service beginning at 8 p.m. Pastor Jack Marcum will officiate.

MYERS Hazel L. Myers, 95, of London, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2001 in the Arbors at London Nursing Home. Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Bill W. and Mary Nel Myers of Worthington; daughter and son-in-law, Floy Mae and Russell Walls of London; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Mabel Derr of Springfield; brother-in-law, Allen Bettinger of Columbus; nieces and nephews. Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church of London with Rev. Gordon Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 5-8 p.m. on Friday. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church Organ Fund. Arrangements and service are under the direction of the EBERLE FUNERAL HOME, London.

MYERS P. Louise Jackson Myers, age 90, formerly of 213 Clinton Heights Ave., died Tuesday March 6, 2001 at Morrow Manor Nursing Home in Chesterville, Oh. Retired Registered Nurse, she was a graduate of White Cross Hospital School of Nursing. Preceded in death by parents Leslie and Mary Mosher Jackson, brother Frank Jackson and sister Helen J. Calhoon. Survived by brother, George D. Jackson of Mt. Gilead, Oh.; sister, Amy J. Hunter of Marion, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service and burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements by RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 N. High St., Columbus.

McCANN Dorothy McCann, age 81, of the Groveport and Columbus area, died Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at the Pickerington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late William and Gracie (Mathias) McCann. Dorothy's extended family were her brothers, Charlie and Ed McCann and her late sister Louise McCann Blaker, October 1, 1978; brother-in-law, Fred Blaker and his children, Letty (Roy) Dixon, Leona Blaker, Harold and Russell Blaker. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Circleville. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N. (St. Rt. 256), Pickerington.

NEAL Donald Hurling Neal, age 71. Memorial Service Saturday 5 p.m., chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St. Pastor Timothy Clarke officiating. Family will receive friends 4 p.m. until time of service.

PAYNE A memorial service for Alpha T. Payne, Jr., age 83, of Newark, Oh., will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2001 at the 2nd Presbyterian Church, 42 E. Church St., Newark, Oh. with Dr. Mitch Van Metre and Dr. Bruce Henderson officiating. Mr. Payne went home to be with our Lord on March 5, 2001 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marjorie Ellen (Porter) Payne; son and daughter-in-law, Alpha Thomas "A.T." III and Pandora Payne of Grand Rapids, Mich.; daughter and son-in-law, Mariam Stewart "Miki" and Roger Hempleman of Newark. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the Church, 42 E. PINKERTON Mary Louise (Atwood) Pinkerton, age 81, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2001. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Albert Pinkerton. Mary was retired from UFCW Local #1059. Survived by brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Joy Atwood; sons, Darrell Pinkerton and William Pinkerton; daughter-in-law, Wanda Pinkerton; grandchildren, Debra Barnette, Kathryn Hendricks, Sherry Pinkerton, Christy Pinkerton; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Hendricks, Justin Hendericks, Calin Pinkerton, Natalie Barnette and Brittany Pinkerton; nephews, Jeff Atwood, Ron and Patty Grossman; and many other relatives. Preceded in death by foster parents Magdalena (Dzepine) Nichols Pitycz and Stephen Nichols, step father Harry Pitycz and special friend Angela Yurjako. Survived by 2 sisters, Elizabeth Horne of York, Pa. and Ann Novak of Barberton, Oh.; cousins, nieces and nephews. PURCELL Joe Purcell Sr., 77, of Grove City, died Monday, March 5, 2001 in Columbus Community Hospital. Retired from Federal Glass Co. and was a WW II Veteran, Cannon Company 274th Infantry. Preceded in death by parents George and Wilda Purcell, son Joseph Purcell Jr., granddaughter Keisha Purcell, sisters Dorothy and Mildred Purcell and brothers George and Robert Purcell. Survived by loving wife, Bessie; children, David (Mary) Purcell, Rick (Carol) Purcell and Diana (Joe) Beiring; brother, Raymond Purcell; 7 grandchildren, Chris Purcell, Katie (Billy) Coon, Kim (Brian) Wirick, Lisa Beiring, Joseph Purcell and Tonya Purcell; 7 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Megan, Ryan, Chandra, Tiffany, Crickett and Storm; half-brother, George Purcell; special niece, Penny; special great-nieces, Kay Lee and Mariah; daughter-in-law, Mattie Purcell. RALSTON Roy R. Ralston, 84, of Newark, Oh., Wednesday, March 7, 2001 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, Oh. Born May 22, 1916 in Stout, Adams County, Oh., son of John C. and Kizzie (Richards) Ralston. He attended Portsmouth City Schools and graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1934. A Navy veteran of WW II, he retired in 1977 from the U.S. Navy Department at Rockwell International. He was a member of the following organizations: Past President of the N.W. Licking Kiwanis Club, Columbus Power Squadron, Center Lodge 86 F&AM, Mt. Vernon Commandery of Knights Templar, Scottish Rite, Aladdin Temple, Licking County Shrine Club and Senior Shriners, American Legion Post 254. He was a member of Highwater United Church of Christ. Survived by wife of 61 years, Judith Jo Ralston, whom he married on August 12, 1939; children, Norma Schirtzinger, Hannah (Arthur) Hunt, Chris (Carol) Ralston and Julie (Denny) Davis; grandchildren, Lora, Joanna, Larry, Eric, Rich, Carrie, Luke, Kate, Lauren and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Trent, Ryan, Evan, Caelan, Gerrod, Joshua, Christina, Kyleen and Jenna. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the BRUCKER & KISHLER FUNERAL HOME, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, Oh. RICHARDSON Debbie L. Hedrick Richardson, age 44, of Orient, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2001 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents Billie F. Celess (Isaac) Hedrick and niece April Brown. Survived by brothers, Tommy "Carl" Brown of Columbus, Billy (Cindy) Hedrick of Orient; nephew, Charlie Carl Brown; nieces, Karla (Mark) Bell, Trina Muzingo, Cynthia Brown; great-nephews, Logan, Adam Bell; aunts, Rosie Bentley, Braska Hamilton and Pat Hedrick; special friends, Maxine Stepp, Bea Verity and Anita Lynch. Retired 50 year employee, C&O R.R. 50 year member West Gate Lodge #623 F&AM and 50 year member West Gate Chapter #216 RAM. Member C&O Retired Veterans Club. Survived by daughters, JoAnn L. Zimmer, Lancaster, Rita (Donald) Eisnaugle, Lancaster; son, James Edward (Jean) Ross, Grove City; son-in-law, Thomas Herman, Orient; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson. Preceded in death by wife of 67 years Laura Louise, 1996, daughter Sandra Herman, 1988 and granddaughter Sherri Ross Baker, 1994.
